F17- Assembling & Dismantling L&T wall form

(Min. 5 times practice)


Objective: At the end of this exercise, individual shall be able to,
 Assemble & dismantle L&T System Wall form as per sketch

dimensions

Method Statement:

1. Shift and lift one long wall shutter and place abutting to column starter
2. Place supporting bracket assembly on each one end of the shutter and fix
head adaptors using wing nuts on the top and bottom steel walers
3. Anchor both foot adaptors with bit rods using hammer
4. Check verticality of the shutter using plumb bob and correct by adjusting
length of supporting brackets
5. Erect one small side wall shutter near the width of wall starter and connect
with the shutter erected earlier using tie rods and wing nuts at top and
bottom
6. Insert tie rods, PVC cones and tubes into the bottom and top holes
provided in the shutter where steel walers are fixed
7. Fix one supporting assembly with steel walers at centre of the shutter and
correct the verticality
8. Erect one more long shutter on the opposite side similarly and connect
with the tie rods using wing nuts
9. Connect this shutter with small side shutter already nearby by fixing tie
rods into the universal outside fixings provided at the ends of steel walers
10. Erect one more small side shutter near the width side and connect both the
corners with tie rods
11. Check the verticality of the shutter using plumb bob by putting over timber
batten and align by adjusting length of supporting brackets
12. Fix three top scaffold brackets on top steel walers of one long wall shutter
13. Place wooden planks on both side scaffold brackets and fix with nut and
bolts
14. Fix two handrails connecting the top scaffold brackets for both the sides
15. Check dimensions and verticality of the column form
