Greek Test Information

Things to do in order to be successful on the Greek Test:

1. Read through all of your notes from class. If you do not have your notes be sure to
go to schoology and get them.
2. The test is on Chapter four, lessons 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5. Skim through the chapter and
make sure that you know the highlighted words. (Pages 74-103)
3. Look at the geography of Greece and the surrounding area:
4. Know the early people of Greece…. Minoans, Mycenaeans, Dorians.
5. Know what Greek mythology was for as well as some of the main gods.
6. Know about Homer – why he was important, about his main works.
7. Greek city-states
a. The differences and similarities of Athens and Sparta
8. Make sure that you go through the Big Greeks power point. It has many of the people
that you will need to know.
9. Make sure that you review the section on Alexander the Great.
