My Master ‫ﻣﻮﻻي‬

My Master, I have extended my hands at ‫ﻣﻮﻻي إﻧﻲ ﺑﺒﺎﺑﻚ ﻗﺪ ﺑﺴﻄﺖ ﯾﺪي‬

Your door
Who can I take refuge in except You, O ‫ﻣﻦ ﻟﻲ أﻟﻮذ ﺑﮫ إﻻك ﯾﺎ ﺳﻨﺪي‬
my pillar

My Master, O my Master, my Master, I ‫ﻣﻮﻻي ﯾﺎ ﻣﻮﻻي ﻣﻮﻻي إﻧﻲ ﺑﺒﺎﺑﻚ‬

am at Your door

Standing in night prayer and pre-dawn ‫أﻗﻮم ﺑﺎﻟﻠﯿﻞ واﻷﺳﺤﺎر ﺳﺎﺟﯿﺔ‬

hours humbly

Supplicating and whispering my teary ‫أدﻋﻮ وھﻤﺲ دﻋﺎﺋﻲ ﺑﺎﻟﺪﻣﻮع ﻧﺪي‬

prayer softly

With the light of Your face I return ‫ﺑﻨﻮر وﺟﮭﻚ إﻧﻲ ﻋﺎﺋﺪ وﺟﻞ‬
reverent

And whoever seeks refuge in You will ‫وﻣﻦ ﯾﻌﺰ ﺑﻚ ﻟﻦ ﯾﺸﻘﻰ إﻟﻰ اﻷﺑﺪ‬
never suffer forever

No matter what I face of worldly ‫ﻣﮭﻤﺎ ﻟﻘﯿﺖ ﻣﻦ اﻟﺪﻧﯿﺎ وﻋﺎرﺿﮭﺎ‬

tribulations

For You distract me from what my body ‫ﻓﺄﻧﺖ ﻟﻲ ﺷﻐﻞ ﻋﻤﺎ ﯾﺮى ﺟﺴﺪي‬
experiences

The bitterness of life is sweetened by ‫ﺗﺤﻠﻮ ﻣﺮارة ﻋﯿﺶ ﻓﻲ رﺿﺎك‬

Your contentment

And I cannot bear wrath over a life of ‫وﻣﺎ أطﯿﻖ ﺳﺨﻄﺎ ﻋﻠﻰ ﻋﯿﺶ ﻣﻦ اﻟﺮﻏﺪ‬
luxury

Who do I have but You, and who but ‫ﻣﻦ ﻟﻲ ﺳﻮاك وﻣﻦ ﺳﻮاك ﯾﺮى ﻗﻠﺒﻲ وﯾﺴﻤﻌﮫ‬
You sees my heart and hears it

All creation are shadows in the hand of ‫ﻛﻞ اﻟﺨﻼﺋﻖ ظﻞ ﻓﻲ ﯾﺪ اﻟﺼﻤﺪ‬

The Eternal
I call upon You O Lord
I call upon You O my Lord
So forgive my slip generously
And make the hope of my supplication
my intercessor
And look upon my state in fear and in
hope
Does God have mercy upon a servant
from anyone?
You have bestowed kindness and mercy
upon all creation, and have increased
blessings for those who are thankful.
You have not forgotten even the whale
in the sea swimming, nor the bird in the
air, nor the beast in the wilderness.
For You are kindness towards all
creation, and their guide to light in the
darkness of disbelief.
And for their sake You have sent Your
messengers with guidance, so they may
knock on the door of Providence with
excuse.
You have pardoned the sinner with Your
forgiveness, merciful towards his tears
after his repentance flowing.
And You have adorned the face of the
earth in the morning with sunlight so
they may roam, and in the darkness with
twinkling stars.
‫أدﻋﻮك ﯾﺎ رب‬
‫ادﻋﻮك ﯾﺎ رﺑﻲ‬
‫ﻓﺎﻏﻔﺮ زﻟﺘﻲ ﻛﺮﻣﺎ‬
‫واﺟﻌﻞ ﺷﻔﯿﻊ دﻋﺎﺋﻲ ﺣﺴﻦ ﻣﺮﺗﻘﺒﻲ‬
‫واﻧﻈﺮ ﻟﺤﺎﻟﻲ ﻓﻲ ﺧﻮف وﻓﻲ طﻤﻊ‬
‫ھﻞ ﯾﺮﺣﻢ اﻟﻌﺒﺪ ﺑﻌﺪ ﷲ ﻣﻦ أﺣﺪ‬
‫وھﺒﺖ ﻟﻜﻞ اﻟﺨﻠﻖ ﺑﺮا ورﺣﻤﺔ وﻗﺪ زدت ﻓﻲ اﻟﻨﻌﻤﻰ‬
‫ﻟﻤﻦ زاد ﻓﻲ اﻟﺸﻜﺮ‬
‫وﻟﻢ ﺗﻨﺴﻰ ﺣﺘﻰ اﻟﺤﻮت ﻓﻲ اﻟﺒﺤﺮ ﺳﺎرﺑﺎ وﻻ اﻟﻄﯿﺮ ﻓﻲ‬
‫ﺟﻮ وﻻ اﻟﻮﺣﺶ ﻓﻲ ﻗﻔﺮ‬
‫ﻷﻧﻚ أﻧﺖ اﻟﺒﺮ ﺑﺎﻟﺨﻠﻖ ﻛﻠﮭﻢ وﻣﺮﺷﺪھﻢ ﻟﻠﻨﻮر ﻓﻲ ظﻠﻤﺔ‬
‫اﻟﻜﻔﺮ‬
‫وﻣﻦ أﺟﻠﮭﻢ أرﺳﻠﺖ رﺳﻠﻚ ﺑﺎﻟﮭﺪى ﻟﻜﻲ ﯾﻄﺮﻗﻮا ﺑﺎب‬
‫اﻟﻌﻨﺎﯾﺔ ﺑﺎﻟﻌﺬر‬
‫وﺟﺪت ﻋﻠﻰ اﻟﻌﺎﺻﻲ ﺑﻌﻔﻮك راﺣﻤﺎ ﻷدﻣﻌﮫ ﻣﻦ ﺑﻌﺪ‬
‫ﺗﻮﺑﺘﮫ ﺗﺠﺮي‬
‫وزﯾﻨﺖ وﺟﮫ اﻷرض ﻓﻲ اﻟﺼﺒﺢ ﺑﺎﻟﺴﻨﺎ ﻟﯿﺴﻌﻮا وﻓﻲ‬
‫اﻟﻈﻠﻤﺎء ﺑﺎﻷﻧﺠﻢ اﻟﺰھﺮ‬
O Guide of the mind to wisdom and ‫ﯾﺎ ھﺎدي اﻟﻌﻘﻞ إﻟﻰ ذاﺗﮫ ﻓﮭﺎم ﺑﺎﻟﻤﻨﺸﻮد ﻣﻦ ھﺪﯾﮫ‬
understanding through Your guidance.

And the soul calls upon You in praise, in ‫وراح ﯾﺪﻋﻮك ﺑﺘﺴﺒﯿﺤﮫ ﻓﻲ ﻗﺮﺑﮫ ﻣﻨﻚ وﻓﻲ ﻧﺄﯾﮫ‬
its nearness to You and its remoteness.

It strives for secrets in their mystery, to ‫ﯾﺴﻌﻰ إﻟﻰ اﻷﺳﺮار ﻓﻲ ﺣﺠﺒﮭﺎ ﻟﯿﺠﻨﻲ اﻟﻔﺮﺣﺔ ﻣﻦ‬
reap joy from its effort. ‫ﺳﻌﯿﮫ‬

Here I am, at your service! For You ‫ﻟﺒﯿﻚ ﻓﺄﻧﺖ اﻟﺬي ﺗﮭﺪﯾﮫ ﻟﻠﺤﻜﻤﺔ ﻓﻲ وﺣﯿﮫ‬
guide it to wisdom in Your revelation.

You created it as a light to show it ‫ﺧﻠﻘﺘﮫ ﻧﻮرا ﯾﺮﯾﮫ اﻟﮭﺪى وﻧﮭﺠﮫ اﻟﺼﺎدق ﻓﻲ رأﯾﮫ‬
guidance, and its sincere path in its
view.

Here I am at your service! with the soul ‫ﻟﺒﯿﻚ ﺑﺎﻟﺮوح ﻋﻠﻰ ﺷﻮﻗﮭﺎ ﻟﺒﯿﻚ ﺑﺎﻟﻘﻠﺐ ﻋﻠﻰ ﻏﯿﮫ‬
in its longing, here I am with the heart
in its love.
‫أﺧﺰاه ﻣﺎ ﯾﺤﻤﻞ ﻣﻦ ذﻧﺒﮫ ﻓﺄﻏﻨﮫ ﺑﺎﻟﻌﻔﻮ ﻋﻦ ﺧﺰﯾﮫ‬
It saddens him what sin he carries, so
enrich him with pardon from his shame
Answerer of the supplicants, I have ‫ﻣﺠﯿﺐ اﻟﺴﺎﺋﻠﯿﻦ ﺣﻤﻠﺖ ذﻧﺒﻲ‬
carried my sin
And walked upon the path, to Your ‫و ﺳﺮت ﻋﻠﻰ اﻟﻄﺮﯾﻖ إﻟﻰ ﺣﻤﺎك‬
sanctuary
And went knocking on Your door, ‫و رﺣﺖ أدق ﺑﺎﺑﻚ ﻣﺴﺘﺠﯿﺮا‬
seeking refuge
Apologizing and awaiting Your pleasure ‫وﻣﻌﺘﺬرا و ﻣﻨﺘﻈﺮا رﺿﺎك‬
I called upon You, O Reliever of all ‫دﻋﻮﺗﻚ ﯾﺎ ﻣﻔﺮج ﻛﻞ ﻛﺮب‬
distress
You do not turn away one distressed ‫و ﻟﺴﺖ ﺗﺮد ﻣﻜﺮوﺑﺎ دﻋﺎك‬
who calls upon You
And I repented to You, a repentance of ‫و ﺗﺒﺖ إﻟﯿﻚ ﺗﻮﺑﺔ ﻣﻦ ﺗﺮاه‬
one who You see
Drowning in tears, and does not see You ‫ﻏﺮﯾﻘﺎ ﻓﻲ اﻟﺪﻣﻮع و ﻻ ﯾﺮاك‬
Glory be to You, O Lord
Glory be to You, O Forgiver of sins
Glory be to You, O Knower of the
unseen
Glory be to You, O Concealer of faults
He whose remembrance reassures hearts
Honor us in life and death
And raise our banner In public
You are Merciful to Your servants
Blessed are You, Revealer of the Book
Exalted are You, Mover of the clouds
Honor us with Your victory, O Giver
Nurture us in the breeze of Your pardon,
O Accepter of repentance
Those fasting praise You
And those bowing and prostrating
submit to Your might
And those sincere are enlightened by
Your guidance
And those striving are victorious by
Your power
O God of the worlds, my longing is
constant
And my heart is frail and sick
My tears flow, O my God
If not for my estrangement, my tears
would not flow
My estrangement, intimate conversation
and fires of longing
And sorrowful weeping and long night
I have no hope but to journey towards
You
When distress tightens, my supplication
God is sufficient for me, an Excellent
Trustee
In God is my faith and in Him my hope
And to His Sublimity my plea and
weeping
O my companion in my solitude
‫ﺳﺒﺤﺎﻧﻚ ﯾﺎ رﺑﺎه‬
‫ﺳﺒﺤﺎﻧﻚ ﯾﺎ ﻏﻔﺎر اﻟﺬﻧﻮب‬
‫ﺳﺒﺤﺎﻧﻚ ﯾﻼ ﻋﻼم اﻟﻐﯿﻮب‬
‫ﺳﺒﺤﺎﻧﻚ ﯾﺎ ﺳﺘﺎر اﻟﻌﯿﻮب‬
‫ﯾﺎ ﻣﻦ ﺑﺬﻛﺮه ﺗﻄﻤﺌﻦ اﻟﻘﻠﻮب‬
‫أﻛﺮﻣﻨﺎ ﻓﻲ اﻟﻤﻌﺎش واﻟﻤﻌﺎد‬
‫وارﻓﻊ راﯾﺘﻨﺎ ﻋﻠﻰ رؤوس اﻷﺷﮭﺎد‬
‫إﻧﻚ رؤوف ﺑﺎﻟﻌﺒﺎد‬
‫ﺗﺒﺎرﻛﺖ ﯾﺎ ﻣﻨﺰل اﻟﻜﺘﺎب‬
‫ﺗﻌﺎﻟﯿﺖ ﯾﺎ ﻣﺠﺮي اﻟﺴﺤﺎب‬
‫أﻛﺮﻣﻨﺎ ﺑﻨﺼﺮك ﯾﺎ وھﺎب‬
‫روﺿﻨﺎ ﻓﻲ ﻧﺴﯿﻢ ﻏﻔﺮاﻧﻚ ﯾﺎ ﺗﻮاب‬
‫ﺳﺒﺢ ﺑﺤﻤﺪك اﻟﺼﺎﺋﻤﻮن‬
‫ودان ﻟﻌﺰﺗﻚ اﻟﺮاﻛﻌﻮن اﻟﺴﺎﺟﺪون‬
‫واﺳﺘﻨﺎر ﺑﮭﺪاك اﻟﻤﺨﻠﺼﻮن‬
‫واﻧﺘﺼﺮ ﺑﻘﺪرﺗﻚ اﻟﻤﺠﺎھﺪون‬
‫ﯾﺎ إﻟﮫ اﻟﻌﺎﻟﻤﯿﻦ ﺣﻨﯿﻨﻲ داﺋﻢ‬
‫واﻟﻘﻠﺐ ﺷﺎك ﻋﻠﯿﻞ‬
‫ﺳﺎل دﻣﻌﻲ ﯾﺎ إﻟﮭﻲ‬
‫وﻟﻮﻻ ﻏﺮﺑﺘﻲ ﻣﺎ ﻛﺎن دﻣﻌﻲ ﯾﺴﯿﻞ‬
‫ﻏﺮﺑﺘﻲ ﻧﺠﻮى وﻧﯿﺮان ﺷﻮق‬
‫وأﺳﻰ ﺑﺎك وﻟﯿﻞ طﻮﯾﻞ‬
‫وﻟﻚ اﻷﻣﺮ وﻣﺎ ﻟﻲ رﺟﺎء ﻏﯿﺮ أن ﺗﺴﻌﻰ إﻟﯿﻚ اﻟﺴﺒﯿﻞ‬
‫إذا ﺿﺎﻗﺖ ﻓﻨﺠﻮى دﻋﺎﺋﻲ‬
‫ﺣﺴﺒﻲ ﷲ وﻧﻌﻢ اﻟﻮﻛﯿﻞ‬
‫ﺑﺎ� إﯾﻤﺎﻧﻲ وﻓﯿﮫ رﺟﺎﺋﻲ‬
‫وإﻟﻰ ﻋﻼه ﺿﺮاﻋﺘﻲ وﺑﻜﺎﺋﻲ‬
‫ﯾﺎ ﻣﺆﻧﺴﻲ ﻓﻲ وﺣﺪﺗﻲ‬
O my savior in my plight ‫ﯾﺎ ﻣﻨﻘﺬي ﻓﻲ ﺷﺪﺗﻲ‬
O Hearer of my call ‫ﯾﺎ ﺳﺎﻣﻌﺎ ﻟﻨﺪاﺋﻲ‬
So, when my night darkens and its ‫ﻓﺈذا دﺟﺎ ﻟﯿﻠﻲ وطﺎل ظﻼﻣﮫ‬
gloom lengthens
I call, O Lord, and You are my light ‫ﻧﺎدﯾﺖ ﯾﺎ رب ﻛﻨﺖ ﺿﯿﺎﺋﻲ‬
Glory be to You, Majestic is Your Glory ‫ﺳﺒﺤﺎﻧﻚ ﺟﻞ ﺟﻼﻟﻚ ﯾﺎ ﷲ‬
O God
When dawn guides the radiance of its ‫ﺣﯿﻦ ﯾﮭﺪى اﻟﺼﺒﺢ اﺷﺮاق ﺳﻨﺎه‬
brilliance
The dew pours fragrance from its ‫ﯾﺴﻜﺐ اﻟﻄﻞ رﺣﯿﻘﺎ ﻣﻦ ﻧﺪاه‬
moisture
Awakening with light the eyelids of life ‫ﻣﻮﻗﻈﺎ ﺑﺎﻟﻨﻮر أﺟﻔﺎن اﻟﺤﯿﺎة‬
The brilliance from whose light? God ‫اﻟﻀﺤﻰ ﻣﻦ ﻧﻮر ﻣﻦ؟ﷲ‬
The dew from whose bounty? God ‫واﻟﻨﺪى ﻣﻦ ﻓﯿﺾ ﻣﻦ؟ﷲ‬
The birds glorified God in the nest ‫ﺳﺒﺤﺖ � ﻓﻰ اﻟﻌﺶ اﻟﻄﯿﻮر‬
Sending melodies as fragrance amongst ‫ﺗﺮﺳﻞ اﻷﻧﻐﺎم ﻋﻄﺮا ﻓﻰ اﻟﺰھﻮر‬
the flowers
Making the nest and striving at dawn ‫ﺗﺼﻨﻊ اﻟﻌﺶ وﺗﺴﻌﻰ ﻓﻰ اﻟﺒﻜﻮر‬
Their livelihood from whose provision? ‫ﻋﯿﺸﮭﺎ ﻓﻲ رزق ﻣﻦ؟ﷲ‬
God
They too made from whom? God ‫وھﻰ اﯾﻀﺎ ﺻﻨﻊ ﻣﻦ؟ﷲ‬
The Provider is God, the Maker is God ‫اﻟﺮازق ﷲ واﻟﺼﺎﻧﻊ ﷲ‬
God, God, God ‫ﷲﷲﷲ‬
He is God ‫ھﻮ ﷲ‬
Majestic is the Caller ‫ﺟﻞ اﻟﻤﻨﺎدى‬
Calling, calling ‫ﯾﻨﺎدى ﯾﻨﺎدى‬
O My servants, I erase sins and burdens ‫ﯾﺎﻋﺒﺎدى أﻧﺎ ﻣﺎﺣﻰ اﻟﺬﻧﻮب واﻷوزار‬
My God, my God ‫إﻟﮭﻲ إﻟﮭﻰ‬
With Your light we are guided ‫ﺑﻨﻮرك اھﺘﺪﯾﻨﺎ‬
With Your grace we seek help ‫وﺑﻔﻀﻠﻚ اﺳﺘﻌﻨﺎ‬
With You we start and end our day ‫وﺑﻚ أﺻﺒﺤﻨﺎ وأﻣﺴﯿﻨﺎ‬
Before You we seek forgiveness ‫ﺑﯿﻦ ﯾﺪﯾﻚ ﻧﺴﺘﻐﻔﺮك‬
O God ‫ﯾﺎﷲ‬
O Forgiver ‫ﯾﺎﻏﻔﺎر‬
O Accepter of repentance ‫ﯾﺎﺗﻮاب‬
O Merciful ‫ﯾﺎرﺣﯿﻢ‬
God has signs in the horizons ‫� ﻓﻲ اﻵﻓﺎق آﯾﺎت‬
Perhaps the least of them is what has ‫ﻟﻌﻞ أﻗﻠﮭﺎ ھﻮ ﻣﺎ إﻟﯿﮫ ھﺪاك‬
guided you
So if you see vegetation growing alone ‫ﻓﺈذا رأﯾﺖ اﻟﻨﺒﺖ ﻓﻲ اﻟﺼﺤﺮاء ﯾﺮﺑﻮ وﺣﺪه‬
in the desert
Ask it who has nurtured you ‫ﻓﺎﺳﺄﻟﮫ ﻣﻦ أرﺑﺎك‬

And if you see the moon moving ‫وإذا رأﯾﺖ اﻟﺒﺪر ﯾﺴﺮي ﻧﺎﺷﺮا أﻧﻮاره‬
spreading its light ‫ﻓﺎﺳﺄﻟﮫ ﻣﻦ أﺳﺮاك‬
Ask it who has delighted you
Ask the sunbeam drawing near ‫ﻓﺎﺳﺄل ﺷﻌﺎع اﻟﺸﻤﺲ ﯾﺪﻧﻮ‬
While it is the furthest thing, what has ‫وھﻲ أﺑﻌﺪ ﻛﻞ ﺷﻲء ﻣﺎ اﻟﺬي أدﻧﺎك‬
brought you near
To You is my humility as long as I live ‫إﻟﯿﻚ ﺧﺸﻮﻋﻲ ﻣﺎ ﺣﯿﯿﺖ وﺗﻮﺑﺘﻲ‬
and my repentance
And my intimate conversation O Lord ‫وﻧﺠﻮاي ﯾﺎ رﺑﺎه ﻓﻲ ﻛﻞ ﻟﻤﺤﺔ‬
in every instant
I called upon You so accept my hopeful ‫دﻋﻮﺗﻚ ﻓﺎﻗﺒﻞ ﻣﻦ دﻋﺎﺋﻲ ﻣﺆﻣﻞ‬
supplication
For You are the hope of the heart in ‫ﻓﺄﻧﺖ رﺟﺎء اﻟﻘﻠﺐ ﻓﻲ ﻛﻞ ﻟﺤﻈﺔ‬
every moment
Your Great Court is my refuge and ‫وﺳﺎﺣﺘﻚ اﻟﻜﺒﺮى ﻣﻼذي وﻣﺆﻟﻲ‬
destination
Your door is my prayer niche and Your ‫وﺑﺎﺑﻚ ﻣﺤﺮاﺑﻲ وﻧﻮرك ﻗﺒﻠﺘﻲ‬
light my qibla
Your existence is celebrated and Your ‫وﺟﻮدك ﻣﺄﺛﻮر وﻓﻀﻠﻚ واﻓﺮ‬
grace abundant
Remembrance of You is my bliss and ‫وذﻛﺮك ﻓﻲ ﻗﻠﺒﻲ ﻧﻌﯿﻤﻲ وﺟﻨﺘﻲ‬
paradise
God of all, this is the supplication of a ‫إﻟﮫ اﻟﻮرى ھﺬه ﺿﺮاﻋﺔ ﺷﺎﻛﺮ‬
grateful one
So replace the sins of the penitent with ‫ﻓﺒﺪل ذﻧﻮب اﻟﺘﺎﺋﺒﯿﻦ ﺑﺮﺣﻤﺘﻚ‬
Your mercy
Ramadan has dawned, so we thirst for ‫رﻣﻀﺎن أﺷﺮق ﻓﺎﻟﺪﻧﺎ ﺗﺘﻄﻠﻊ‬
light from Your Book shining ‫ظﻤﺊ ﻟﻨﻮر ﻣﻦ ﻛﺘﺎﺑﻚ ﯾﺴﻄﻊ‬

You have awakened my heart, so it has ‫أﯾﻘﻈﺖ ﻗﻠﺒﻲ ﻓﺎﺳﺘﻔﺎق ﻣﯿﻤﻤﺎ ﺷﻄﺮ اﻟﮭﺪى‬
awoke determined towards guidance
Yearning to You, hearing ‫ﯾﺮﻧﻮ إﻟﯿﻚ ﯾﺴﻤﻊ‬
I will stand in Your night supplicating ‫ﺳﺄﻗﻮم ﻟﯿﻠﻚ داﻋﯿﺎ ﻣﺘﺒﺘﻼ‬

And I will remain humbled beseeching ‫وﺳﺄظﻞ ﯾﻮﻣﻚ ﺧﺎﺷﻌﺎ أﺗﻀﺮع‬

You in Your day
O season of the Quran your breeze is ‫ﯾﺎ ﻣﻮﺳﻢ اﻟﻘﺮآن ﺣﺴﺒﻚ ﻧﻔﺤﺔ‬
enough
This evident, lofty Book
It is a pure source of all happiness
God has immortalized it, excellent is the
source
Month of guidance, light, and Quran
Month of piety, fasting, and faith
Welcome, welcome, welcome
Welcome to Your light O Generous Host
O realm of mercy and forgiveness
Come with good tidings and wishes in
your hand
And the sign of the Merciful upon your
forehead
Glory be to You, Glory be to You, Glory
be to You
Majestic is Your Glory O God
Dawn has emerged upon existence, so
two suns have risen
A sun of brilliance, and a sun of
guidance together
The horizons of both suns remain
unseen
After it, nothing like Macca as a rising
place
A ray from the Merciful has shone
So, its illumination has left no place
upon the earth
The birth of the Chosen Prophet
Was Only the Spring, vitality and
blossoming
I am the servant admitting every sin
And You are the Master, the Forgiving
Lord
So if You punish me, it is for my
misdeed
And if You forgive, You are Worthy of it
I flee to You from You
And where but to You would one fleeing
‫ھﺬا اﻟﻜﺘﺎن اﻟﻤﺴﺘﺒﯿﻦ اﻷرﻓﻊ‬
‫ھﻮ ﻣﻨﺒﻊ ﺻﺎف ﻟﻜﻞ ﺳﻌﺎدة‬
‫ﷲ ﺧﻠﺪه وﻧﻌﻢ اﻟﻤﻨﺒﻊ‬
‫ﺷﮭﺮ اﻟﮭﺪى واﻟﻨﻮر واﻟﻘﺮآن‬
‫ﺷﮭﺮ اﻟﺘﻘﻰ واﻟﺼﻮم واﻹﯾﻤﺎن‬
‫أھﻼ أھﻼ أھﻼ أھﻼ أھﻼ‬
‫أھﻼ ﺑﻨﻮرك ﯾﺎ ﻛﺮﯾﻢ اﻟﻤﻠﺘﻘﻰ‬
‫ﯾﺎ ﺳﺎﺣﺔ اﻟﺮﺣﻤﺎت واﻟﻐﻔﺮان‬
‫أﻗﺒﻞ وﻓﻲ ﯾﺪك اﻟﺒﺸﺎﺋﺮ واﻟﻤﻨﻰ‬
‫وﻋﻠﻰ ﺟﺒﯿﻨﻚ آﯾﺔ اﻟﺮﺣﻤﻦ‬
‫ﺳﺒﺤﺎﻧﻚ ﺳﺒﺤﺎﻧﻚ ﺳﺒﺤﺎﻧﻚ‬
‫ﺟﻞ ﺟﻼﻟﻚ ﯾﺎ ﷲ‬
‫ﻓﺠﺮ أطﻞ ﻋﻠﻰ اﻟﻮﺟﻮد ﻓﺄطﻠﻊ‬
‫ﺷﻤﺴﯿﻦ ﺷﻤﺲ ﺳﻨﺎ وﺷﻤﺲ ھﺪى ﻣﻌﺎ‬
‫ظﻠﺖ ﻣﻄﺎﻟﻊ ﻛﻞ ﺷﻤﺲ ﻻ ﺗﺮى‬
‫ﻣﻦ ﺑﻌﺪه ﺷﯿﺌﺎ ﻛﻤﻜﺔ ﻣﻄﻠﻌﺎ‬
‫ﻗﺒﺲ ﻣﻦ اﻟﺮﺣﻤﻦ ﻻح‬
‫ﻓﻠﻢ ﯾﺪع ﻷﻻؤه ﻓﻮق اﻟﺒﺴﯿﻄﺔ ﻣﻮﺿﻌﺎ‬
‫ﻣﺎ ﻛﺎن ﻣﯿﻼد اﻟﺮﺳﻮل اﻟﻤﺼﻄﻔﻰ‬
‫إﻻ اﻟﺮﺑﯿﻊ ﻧﻀﺎرة وﺗﻀﻮﻋﺎ‬
‫أﻧﺎ اﻟﻌﺒﺪ اﻟﻤﻘﺮ ﺑﻜﻞ ذﻧﺐ‬
‫وأﻧﺖ اﻟﺴﯿﺪ اﻟﻤﻮﻟﻰ اﻟﻐﻔﻮر‬
‫ﻓﺈن ﻋﺬﺑﺘﻨﻲ ﻓﺒﺴﻮء ﻓﻌﻠﻲ‬
‫وإن ﺗﻐﻔﺮ ﻓﺄﻧﺖ ﺑﮫ ﺟﺪﯾﺮ‬
‫أﻓﺮ إﻟﯿﻚ ﻣﻨﻚ‬
‫وأﯾﻦ إﻻ إﻟﯿﻚ ﯾﻔﺮ ﻣﻨﻚ اﻟﻤﺴﺘﺠﯿﺮ‬
You take refuge
O Lord I have returned to Your ‫ﯾﺎرب ﻋﺪت إﻟﻰ رﺣﺎﺑﻚ ﺗﺎﺋﺒﺎ‬
sanctuary repenting
Surrendering, clinging to Your Throne ‫ﻣﺴﺘﺴﻠﻤﺎ ﻣﺴﺘﻤﺴﻜﺎ ﺑﻌﺮاك‬
I call upon You my Lord to forgive my ‫أدﻋﻮك ﯾﺎ رﺑﻲ ﻟﺘﻐﻔﺮ ذﻟﺘﻲ‬
disgrace
And aid me and guide me with Your ‫وﺗﻌﯿﻨﻨﻲ وﺗﻤﺪﻧﻲ ﺑﮭﺪاك‬
guidance
So accept my supplication and respond ‫ﻓﺎﻗﺒﻞ دﻋﺎﺋﻲ واﺳﺘﺠﺐ ﻟﺮﺟﺎوﺗﻲ‬
to my hope
None has ever been disappointed who ‫ﻣﺎ ﺧﺎب ﯾﻮﻣﺎ ﻣﻦ دﻋﺎ ورﺟﺎك‬
called upon You and hoped in You
Gently O wind in Madinah the ‫ﺗﻠﻄﻔﻲ ﯾﺎ رﯾﺢ ﺑﺎﻟﻤﺪﯾﻨﺔ اﻟﻤﻨﻮرة‬
Illuminated
Fragrant O wind from its fragrant ‫ﺗﻌﻄﺮي ﯾﺎ رﯾﺢ ﻣﻦ ﺑﻘﺎﻋﮭﺎ اﻟﻤﻌﻄﺮة‬
regions
Wherever you blow or settle O winds ‫ﻓﺤﯿﺚ ﻣﺎ ھﺒﺒﺖ أو ﺣﻠﻠﺖ ﯾﺎ رﯾﺎح ﺳﺘﺤﻤﻠﻲ أرﯾﺠﮫ‬
you will carry its aroma
Blessings of God and peace be upon ‫ﺻﻠﻮات ﷲ وﺳﻼﻣﮫ ﻋﻠﯿﮫ‬
him
Our Prophet whom the horizons are ‫ﻧﺒﯿﻨﺎ ﻧﺒﯿﻨﺎ اﻟﺬي ﺗﻌﻄﺮت ﺑﺤﺒﮫ اﻷرﺟﺎء‬
fragrant with love for him
Our beloved Prophet whom the regions ‫ﻧﺒﯿﻨﺎ ﺣﺒﯿﺒﻨﺎ اﻟﺬي ﺗﺪﺛﺮت ﺑﻨﻮره اﻷﻧﺤﺎء‬
are clad in his light
The attributes were completed for his ‫ﺗﻜﺎﻣﻠﺖ ﻣﻦ أﺟﻠﮫ اﻷوﺻﺎف‬
sake
A human, essence of light, joy, and ‫إﻧﺴﺎن ﻋﯿﻦ اﻟﻨﻮر واﻟﺴﺮور واﻟﻌﻄﺎء‬
giving
Our beloved Prophet, beloved of the ‫ﻧﺒﯿﻨﺎ ﺣﺒﯿﺒﻨﺎ ﺣﺒﯿﺐ أھﻞ اﻷرض واﻟﺴﻤﺎء‬
people of earth and heaven
I am absent yet the Kind is never absent ‫أﻏﯿﺐ وذو اﻟﻠﻄﺎﺋﻒ ﻻ ﯾﻐﯿﺐ‬
And I hope in Him a hope that never ‫وأرﺟﻮه رﺟﺎءا ﻻ ﯾﺨﯿﺐ‬
fails
And make my need in every state ‫واﻧﺰل ﺣﺎﺟﺘﻲ ﻓﻲ ﻛﻞ ﺣﺎل‬
To the One in whom hearts find peace ‫إﻟﻰ ﻛﻞ ﻣﻦ ﺗﻄﻤﺌﻦ ﺑﮫ اﻟﻘﻠﻮب‬
For God has many ways ‫ﻓﻜﻢ � ﻣﻦ ﺗﺪﺑﯿﺮ أﻣﺮ‬
Hidden from sights by the unseen ‫طﻮﺗﮫ ﻋﻦ اﻟﻤﺸﺎھﺪه اﻟﻐﯿﻮب‬
Of generosity, hidden kindness, and ‫وﻣﻦ ﻛﺮم وﻣﻦ ﻟﻄﻒ ﺧﻔﻲ‬

relief With which worries disappear ‫وﻣﻦ ﻓﺮج ﺗﺰول ﺑﮫ اﻟﻜﺮوب‬

And I have none but Gods door
No god, no master but Him, no beloved
Generous, Blessing, Kind, Gentle
Beautiful, Concealer for the supplicant,
Responder
My God, from You is my happiness and
good
From You generosity and soon relief
O Able, O He who has whatever He
wills
None equal to Him nor partners
The Throne of the Able has risen
majestically
So the horizons shone with its light
Around Him the angels encircled
Reciting the best remembrance so
contentment spreads
They do not tire for a moment of
supplication
They are loyal servants to their Lord
They are soldiers of the Supreme Ruler
To whom belongs all kingdom and
eternity
Bowing, prostrating, standing, sitting
Happy in continuous glorification
How great is its remembrance on Great
Badr
The day the two armies met, and God
gave good tidings
He sent down victory for the religion
and faith
The day Gabriel ran with the angels
propelling soldiers in retreat and
advance
And Gods Messenger shooting, and
Gods hand striking
As he supplicates his Lord for imminent
victory
So the light shone clear from the
‫وﻣﺎﻟﻲ ﻏﯿﺮ ﺑﺎب ﷲ ﺑﺎب‬
‫ﻻ إﻟﮫ وﻻ ﻣﻮﻟﻰ ﺳﻮاه وﻻ ﺣﺒﯿﺐ‬
‫ﻛﺮﯾﻢ ﻣﻨﻌﻢ ﺑﺮ ﻟﻄﯿﻒ‬
‫ﺟﻤﯿﻞ ﺳﺘﺮ ﻟﻠﺪاﻋﻲ ﻣﺠﯿﺐ‬
‫إﻟﮭﻲ ﻣﻨﻚ إﺳﻌﺎدي وﺧﯿﺮي‬
‫وﻣﻨﻚ اﻟﺠﻮد واﻟﻔﺮج اﻟﻘﺮﯾﺐ‬
‫ﯾﺎ ﻗﺪﯾﺮا ﯾﺎ ﻣﻦ ﻟﮫ ﻣﺎ ﯾﺸﺎء‬
‫ﻻ ﺷﺒﯿﮫ ﻟﮫ وﻻ ﺷﺮﻛﺎء‬
‫ﻗﺪ ﺗﺴﺎﻣﻰ ﻋﺮش اﻟﻘﺪﯾﺮ ﺟﻼﻻ‬
‫ﻓﺎﺳﺘﻀﺎءت ﺑﻨﻮره اﻷرﺟﺎء‬
‫ﺣﻮﻟﮫ ﺣﻔﺖ اﻟﻤﻼﺋﻚ‬
‫ﺗﺘﻠﻮ أﺣﺴﻦ اﻟﺬﻛﺮ ﻛﻲ ﯾﻌﻢ اﻟﺮﺿﺎء‬
‫ﻻ ﯾﻤﻠﻮن ﻟﺤﻈﺔ ﻣﻦ دﻋﺎء‬
‫ھﻢ ﻋﺒﯿﺪ ﻟﺮﺑﮭﻢ أوﻓﯿﺎء‬
‫ھﻢ ﺟﻨﻮد اﻟﻤﮭﯿﻤﻦ اﻟﻤﺘﻌﺎﻟﻲ‬
‫اﻟﺬي اﻟﻤﻠﻚ ﻣﻠﻜﮫ واﻟﺒﻘﺎء‬
‫رﻛﻌﺎ ﺳﺠﺪا ﻗﯿﺎﻣﺎ ﻗﻌﻮدا‬
‫ﻣﻦ ﺗﻮاﻟﻲ ﺗﺴﺒﯿﺤﮭﻢ ﺳﻌﺪاء‬
‫ﻣﺎ اﻋﻈﻢ اﻟﺬﻛﺮي ﻓﻲ ﺑﺪر اﻟﻜﺒﺮى‬
‫ﯾﻮم اﻟﺘﻘﻲ اﻟﺠﻤﻌﺎن وﷲ ﺑﺎﻟﺒﺸﺮي‬
‫ﻗﺪ اﻧﺰل اﻟﻨﺼﺮ ﻟﻠﺪﯾﻦ واﻻﯾﻤﺎن‬
‫ﯾﻮم ﺟﺒﺮﯾﻞ ﻣﻊ اﻻﻣﻼك ﯾﺠﺮي‬
‫ﯾﺪﻓﻊ اﻻﺟﻨﺎد ﻓﻲ ﻛﺮ وﻓﺮ‬
‫ورﺳﻮل ﷲ ﯾﺮﻣﻲ وﯾﺪ ﷲ ﺗﺼﯿﺐ‬
‫وھﻮ ﯾﺪﻋﻮ رﺑﮫ ﺑﺎﻟﻨﺼﺮ واﻟﻔﺘﺢ اﻟﻘﺮﯾﺐ‬
‫ﻓﺒﺪا اﻟﻨﻮر ﺟﻠﯿﺎ ﻣﻦ دﺟﻲ اﻟﻠﯿﻞ اﻟﻌﺼﯿﺐ‬
darkness of the arduous night
You were a decisive day, O day of Badr ‫ﻛﻨﺖ ﯾﻮﻣﺎ ﺣﺎﺳﻤﺎ ﯾﺎ ﯾﻮم ﺑﺪر‬
You took from hardship to ease for ‫ﺟﺰت ﺑﺎﻹﺳﻼم ﻣﻦ ﻋﺴﺮ ﻟﯿﺴﺮ‬
Islam
Pushing the banner from victory to ‫ﺗﺪﻓﻊ اﻟﺮاﯾﺔ ﻣﻦ ﻧﺼﺮ ﻟﻨﺼﺮ‬
victory
Lord of Badr, we have called upon You ‫رب ﺑﺪر ﻗﺪ دﻋﻮﻧﺎ ﺻﺎدﻗﯿﻦ‬
sincerely
Inspire patience in the hearts of the ‫أﻟﮭﻢ اﻟﺼﺒﺮ ﻗﻠﻮب اﻟﻤﺆﻣﻨﯿﻦ‬
believers
O Lord ‫ﯾﺎرب‬
Grant us determination, truthfulness, ‫ﻟﻘﻨﺎ ﻋﺰﻣﺎ وﺻﺪﻗﺎ وﯾﻘﯿﻨﺎ‬
and certainty
O Lord ‫ﯾﺎرب‬
Grant us O our Lord a clear victory ‫آﺗﻨﺎ ﯾﺎ رﺑﻨﺎ اﻟﻨﺼﺮ اﻟﻤﺒﯿﻦ‬
O Lord ‫ﯾﺎرب‬

O Light of all things and their Guide ‫ﯾﺎ ﻧﻮر ﻛﻞ ﺷﻲء وھﺪاه‬
O Lord of all things and their Guide ‫ﯾﺎ رب ﻛﻞ ﺷﻲء وھﺪاه‬
O Most Generous of the generous ‫ﯾﺎ أﻛﺮم اﻷﻛﺮﻣﯿﻦ‬
O Most Merciful of the merciful ‫ﯾﺎ أرﺣﻢ اﻟﺮﺣﻤﯿﻦ‬
O Most Wise of the wise ‫ﯾﺎ أﺣﻜﻢ اﻟﺤﺎﻛﻤﯿﻦ‬
O Most Just of the just ‫ﯾﺎ أﻋﺪل اﻟﻌﺎدﻟﯿﻦ‬
Glory be to You O God, and praise be to ‫ﺳﺒﺤﺎﻧﻚ اﻟﻠﮭﻢ وﺑﺤﻤﺪك‬
You
Blessed be Your name and exalted be ‫ﺗﺒﺎرك اﺳﻤﻚ وﺗﻌﺎﻟﻰ ﺟﺪك ﯾﺎ رب‬
Your majesty, O Lord
Behold, we will all perish ‫أﻻ أﻧﻨﺎ ﻛﻠﻨﺎ ﺑﺎﺋﺪ‬
And which son of Adam is immortal? ‫وأي ﺑﻨﻲ آدم ﺧﺎﻟﺪ‬
Their beginning was by their Lord ‫وﺑﺪأھﻢ ﻛﺎن ﻣﻦ رﺑﮭﻢ‬
And to their Lord all will return ‫وﻛﻞ إﻟﻰ رﺑﮫ ﻋﺎﺋﺪ‬
How strange! That God be disobeyed! ‫ﻓﯿﺎ ﻋﺠﺒﺎ ﻛﯿﻒ ﯾﻌﺼﻰ اﻹﻟﮫ‬
Or how can the denier deny Him? ‫أو ﻛﯿﻒ ﯾﺠﺤﺪه اﻟﺠﺎﺣﺪ‬
In everything is a sign for Him ‫وﻓﻲ ﻛﻞ ﺷﻲء ﻟﮫ آﯾﮫ‬
That He is the One ‫ﺗﺪل ﻋﻠﻰ أﻧﮫ اﻟﻮاﺣﺪ‬
Gods grasp gathers the earth completely ‫ﻗﺒﻀﺔ ﷲ ﺗﺠﻤﻊ اﻷرض ﺟﻤﻌﺎ‬
And with the Originators right the ‫وﺑﯿﻤﻨﻰ اﻟﺒﺪﯾﻊ ﺗﻄﻮى اﻟﺴﻤﺎء‬
heavens are folded
The power of God has dazzled every ‫ﻗﻮة ﷲ أﺑﮭﺮت ﻛﻞ ﻋﯿﻦ‬
eye
So the scholars were enraptured in ‫ﻓﺘﻔﺎﻧﺖ ﻓﻲ وﺻﻔﮭﺎ اﻟﻌﻠﻤﺎء‬
describing it
The wisdom of God made every matter ‫ﺣﻜﻤﺔ ﷲ أﺣﻜﻤﺖ ﻛﻞ أﻣﺮ‬
most wise
So, the sages were enlightened by its ‫ﻓﺎﺳﺘﻨﺎرت ﺑﺮوﺣﮭﺎ اﻟﺤﻜﻤﺎء‬
spirit
The experience of God perfected ‫ﺧﺒﺮة ﷲ أﺗﻘﻨﺖ ﻛﻞ ﺷﻲء‬
everything
So, the poets vied in praising it ‫ﻓﺘﺒﺎرت ﻓﻲ ﻣﺪﺣﮭﺎ اﻟﺸﻌﺮاء‬

The mercy of God encompassed ‫رﺣﻤﺔ ﷲ أدرﻛﺖ ﻛﻞ ﺷﻲء‬

everything
So, counting it made statistics fade ‫ﻓﺘﻼﺷﻰ ﻓﻲ ﻋﺪھﺎ اﻹﺣﺼﺎء‬

Everyone in existence is Gods servant ‫ﻛﻞ ﻣﻦ ﻓﻲ اﻟﻮﺟﻮد � ﻋﺒﺪ‬

The most honorable to Him are the ‫أﻛﺮم اﻟﺨﻠﻖ ﻋﻨﺪه اﻷﺗﻘﯿﺎء‬
righteous

O people, this is an explanation sent ‫أﯾﮭﺎ اﻟﻨﺎس إن ھﺬا ﺑﯿﺎن أﻧﺰﻟﺘﮫ اﻟﺸﺮﯾﻌﺔ اﻟﺴﻤﺤﺎء‬
down by the tolerant law
It is enough pride for this Quran that it ‫إن ھﺬا اﻟﻘﺮآن ﯾﻜﻔﯿﮫ ﻓﺨﺮا أﻧﮫ رﺣﻤﺔ ﻗﻀﺘﮭﺎ اﻟﺴﻤﺎء‬
is a mercy ordained by the sky

It came with the truth as light for hearts ‫ﺟﺎء ﺑﺎﻟﺤﻖ ﻟﻠﻘﻠﻮب ﺿﯿﺎء‬
So, the darkness faded away from its ‫ﻓﺘﻼﺷﺖ ﻣﻦ ﻧﻮره اﻟﻈﻠﻤﺎء‬
light
To you has come a noble Book as ‫ﺟﺎءﻛﻢ ﺑﺎﻟﮭﺪى ﻛﺘﺎب ﻛﺮﯾﻢ‬
guidance
An Arabic elucidation containing the ‫ﻋﺮﺑﻲ اﻟﺒﯿﺎن ﻓﯿﮫ اﻟﺪواء‬
cure
It is from the Presence of the All-Wise, ‫إﻧﮫ ﻣﻦ ﻟﺪن ﺣﻜﯿﻢ ﻋﻠﯿﻢ‬
All-Aware
Its unambiguous protected ‫ﻣﺤﻜﻤﺎت آﯾﺎﺗﮫ ﻋﺼﻤﺎء‬
verses
The sign of truth has been made clear to ‫آﯾﮫ اﻟﺤﻖ ﻗﺪ ﺗﺠﻠﺖ ﻋﻠﯿﻜﻢ‬
you
And with the light of Islam the ‫وﺑﻨﻮر اﻹﺳﻼم ﻋﻢ اﻟﻀﯿﺎء‬
brilliance has spread
I turned to God longing with my heart ‫ﺗﺒﺘﻠﺖ ﻣﺸﺘﺎﻗﺎ إﻟﻰ ﷲ ﺑﺎﻟﻘﻠﺐ‬
To the One who relieves those distressed ‫إﻟﻰ ﻣﻦ ﯾﻐﯿﺚ اﻟﻀﺎرﻋﯿﻦ ﻣﻦ اﻟﻜﺮب‬
by worries
Relieve an anxious, watching for care ‫اﻏﺚ رﺑﻲ ﻣﻠﮭﻮﻓﺎ ﺑﻌﯿﻦ ﻋﻨﺎﯾﺔ‬
And save O God the Muslims from ‫واﻧﻘﺬ اﻟﮭﻲ اﻟﻤﺴﻠﻤﯿﻦ ﻣﻦ اﻟﺨﻄﺐ‬
calamities
O my Lord if I sin, overlook me with ‫اﯾﺎ رﺑﻲ إن اذﻧﺒﺖ ﻋﻔﻮا ﻓﺎدرﻛﻦ‬
forgiveness
And favor Your servant with kindness ‫ﻋﺒﯿﺪك ﺑﺎﻹﺣﺴﺎن واﻟﺼﻔﺢ ﯾﺎ رﺑﻲ‬
and pardon O my Lord
O my God aid me with gifts for the ‫اﻟﮭﻲ اﻋﻨﻲ ﺑﺎﻟﻌﻄﺎﯾﺎ ﻋﻠﻲ اﻟﺬي ﺗﺤﺐ‬
beloved
And inspire me to repent from sin ‫وأﻟﮭﻤﻨﻲ اﻟﻤﺘﺎب ﻣﻦ اﻟﺬﻧﺐ‬
And send your blessings upon ‫وﺻﻠﻲ ﻋﻠﻲ طﮫ اﻟﺸﻔﯿﻊ ﻣﺤﻤﺪ‬
Muhammad the intercessor
And greetings upon the beloved, family, ‫وﺳﻠﻢ ﻋﻠﻲ اﻻﺣﺒﺎب واﻵل واﻟﺼﺤﺐ‬
and companions
Walking in Gods light I supplicate and ‫ﻣﺎﺷﻲ ﺑﻨﻮر ﷲ أدﻋﻲ وأﻗﻮل ﯾﺎ رب‬
say O Lord
Let me have a fortress, increase my love ‫ﯾﺒﻘﻰ ﻟﻲ ﻟﺤﺼﻨﻲ وﺟﺎه وزدﻧﻲ ﻓﻲ ﺣﺒﻚ ﺣﺐ ﯾﺎرب‬
for You O Lord
Bless me in my family, health, and ‫ﺗﺒﺎرك ﻟﻲ ﻓﻲ ﻋﯿﺎﻟﻲ وﻓﻲ ﺻﺤﺘﻲ وﻣﺎﻟﻲ‬
wealth
And all my deeds I strive for what ‫وﻓﻲ ﻛﻞ أﻋﻤﺎﻟﻲ أﺳﻌﻰ ﻟﻤﺎ ﺗﺮﺿﺎه‬
pleases You
From You O Lord is guidance, and ‫ﻣﻨﻚ ﯾﺎ رﺑﻲ اﻟﮭﺪى واﻟﻤﻌﺼﯿﺔ ﻣﻨﻲ‬
disobedience from me
And I have no independence from You, ‫وﻻ ﻟﯿﺎ ﻋﻨﻚ ﻏﻨﻰ وأﻧﺖ ﻓﻲ ﻏﻨﻰ ﻋﻨﻲ‬
and You have no need of me
Your light for my soul a guide, and love ‫ﻧﻮرك ﻟﺮوﺣﻲ دﻟﯿﻞ واﻟﺤﺐ ﻟﯿﺎ ﺳﺒﯿﻞ‬
for me a path
Never has its sun tilted, the one destined ‫وﻻ ﻋﻤﺮه ﺷﻤﺴﮫ ﺗﻤﯿﻞ اﻟﻠﻲ ﻗﺼﺪ ﻣﻮﻻه‬
for his Master
I ask Your forgiveness and repent from ‫اﺳﺘﻐﻔﺮك وأﺗﻮب ﻋﻦ ﻛﻞ ﻋﺼﯿﺎﻧﻲ‬
all my disobedience
Have mercy on hearts O Lord and care ‫اﻣﺎ رﺣﻤﺖ ﻗﻠﻮب ﯾﺎرب ﺗﺮﻋﺎﻧﻲ‬
for me
In Your mercy the ultimate, and love ‫ﻓﻲ رﺣﻤﺘﻚ ﻏﺎﯾﺔ وﻣﺤﺒﺔ وھﺪاﯾﺔ‬
and guidance
And in everything a sign saying Exalted ‫و ﻓﻲ ﻛﻞ ﺷﻲء آﯾﺔ ﺗﻘﻮل ﺗﻌﺎﻟﻰ ﷲ‬
is God
Love O Lord is my path, for I adore You ‫اﻟﺤﺐ ﯾﺎرب درﺑﻲ ﻷﻧﻨﻲ أھﻮاك‬
You are always near me, and no beloved ‫ﻓﺄﻧﺖ دوﻣﺎ ﺑﻘﺮﺑﻲ وﻻ ﺣﺒﯿﺐ ﺳﻮاك‬
but You

You shone light in my heart, so my sight ‫أﺷﺮﻗﺖ ﻧﻮرا ﺑﻘﻠﺒﻲ ﻓﻼ ﺗﺤﺪ ﻋﯿﻮﻧﻲ أﻓﻘﺎ ﯾﺤﯿﻂ ﻣﺪاك‬
has no limit, a horizon encompassing
Your extent
Before You there is nothing, and after ‫ﻓﻠﯿﺲ ﻗﺒﻠﻚ ﺷﻲء وﻟﯿﺲ ﺑﻌﺪك ﺷﻲء‬
You there is nothing
And when I become absorbed in love, ‫وﻋﻨﺪﻣﺎ أﺗﻤﺎدى ﻓﻲ اﻟﺤﺐ ﯾﻐﺸﻰ ﻋﻠﻲ‬
unconsciousness overwhelms me
I fear that if my love becomes passion, I ‫أﺧﺸﻲ إذا ﺻﺎر ﺣﺒﻲ ﻋﺸﻘﺎ أﺣﻮل ھﻮاء‬
would become insane
I melt into water, so I irrigate the field ‫أذوب ﻣﺎء ﻓﺄروي ﺣﻘﻞ اﻟﺤﯿﺎة ﺑﺤﺒﻚ‬
of life with Your love
I melt into light until I become a ‫أذوب ﻓﻲ اﻟﻨﻮر ﺣﺘﻰ أﺻﯿﺮ ﻧﺠﻤﺎ ﯾﺪور‬
revolving star
I remain in the night chanting Your ‫أظﻞ ﻓﻲ اﻟﻠﯿﻞ أﺷﺪو ﺑﺎﺳﻤﻚ ﯾﺎرب دوﻣﺎ ﯾﺎ ﻧﻮر‬
name O Lord always O Light
O Light, O Light, O God ‫ﯾﺎ ﻧﻮر ﯾﺎ ﻧﻮر ﯾﺎ ﷲ‬
The soul complains, and who knows ‫اﻟﻨﻔﺲ ﺗﺸﻜﻮ وﻣﻦ ﯾﺪرى ﺑﻤﺎ ﻓﯿﮭﺎ ﺳﻮاك ﯾﺎﺧﺎﻟﻖ اﻟﺪﻧﯿﺎ‬
what is within it but You, Creator of the ‫وﺑﺎرﯾﮭﺎ‬
world and Its Maker
My spirit stays up all night long, ‫روﺣﻰ ﻋﻠﻰ اﻟﺪور طﻮل اﻟﻠﯿﻞ ﺳﺎھﺮة ﺗﺄﺳﻮ اﻟﺠﺮاح‬
grieving its wounds and its nights do not ‫وﻻ ﺗﻐﻔﻮ ﻟﯿﺎﻟﯿﮭﺎ‬
sleep

It moans in the paths of the wind ‫ﺗﺌﻦ ﻓﻰ طﺮﻗﺎت اﻟﺮﯾﺢ ﺿﺎرﻋﺔ ﯾﺎرب ﻓﺎﻛﺸﻒ ﻟﮭﺎ‬
pleading, O Lord so reveal to it a light ‫ﻧﻮرا ﯾﻮاﺳﯿﮭﺎ‬
that will console it

O Granter of the soul faith in it, You ‫ﯾﺎواھﺐ اﻟﻨﻔﺲ اﯾﻤﺎﻧﺎ ﺑﮭﺎ وﺿﺤﺖ ﻛﻞ اﻟﺪروب اﻟﺘﻰ‬
have illuminated all the paths that its ‫ﺗﺨﻔﻰ دﯾﺎﺟﯿﮭﺎ‬
darkness hides
O Forgiver of sins, O Merciful, You are ‫ﯾﺎﻏﺎﻓﺮ اﻟﺬﻧﺐ ﯾﺎرﺣﻤﻦ اﻧﺖ ﻣﻌﻰ ﺗﺼﻐﻰ ﻟﻨﺒﻀﺔ ﻗﻠﺒﻰ‬
with me listening to the pulse of my ‫ﻗﺒﻞ ﺷﺎدﯾﮭﺎ‬
heart before its beating

O You who granted wisdom to the lives ‫ﯾﺎﻣﻦ ﻣﻨﺤﺖ ﺣﯿﺎة اﻟﻨﺎس ﺣﻜﻤﺘﮭﺎ ﻣﻦ ﺧﺎﻧﮫ اﻟﻔﮭﻢ ﻓﻠﯿﻘﺮأ‬
of people, who misunderstand, so let ‫ﻣﻌﺎﻧﯿﮭﺎ‬
him read its meanings

The universe, O my Merciful, is ‫اﻟﻜﻮن ﯾﺎراﺣﻤﻲ ﺑﺎﻟﺤﺐ ﻣﺘﺴﻖ ﻟﻢ ﺗﺨﻠﻒ اﻟﺸﻤﺲ ﻣﯿﻌﺎدا‬
coherent with love, the sun has not ‫ﻟﺤﺎدﯾﮭﺎ‬
missed an appointment for its guide

The clouds flow above the earth ‫ﺗﺴﺮى اﻟﻐﻤﺎﺋﻢ ﻓﻮق اﻻرض ﺗﺮﺿﻌﮭﺎ ﻓﯿﺴﻄﻊ اﻟﻨﻔﺲ‬
nurturing it, so the soul glows glorifying ‫ﺗﺴﺒﯿﺤﺎ ﻟﻤﺤﯿﯿﮭﺎ‬

Ramadan hello and welcome, Ramadan ‫رﻣﻀﺎن أھﻼ ﻣﺮﺣﺒﺎ رﻣﻀﺎن‬
Remembrance in you is beautiful and ‫اﻟﺬﻛﺮ ﻓﯿﻚ ﯾﻄﯿﺐ واﻟﻘﺮآن‬
the Quran
You came with light and joy, and you ‫ﺑﺎﻟﻨﻮر ﺟﺌﺖ وﺑﺎﻟﺴﺮور وﻟﻢ ﯾﺰل ﻟﻚ ﻓﻲ ﻧﻔﻮس‬
always have a place in the hearts of the ‫اﻟﺼﺎﻟﺤﯿﻦ ﻣﻜﺎن‬
righteous
Reciting the verses of the Book, and ‫ﯾﺘﻠﻮن آﯾﺎت اﻟﻜﺘﺎب وﻣﺎ ﻟﮭﻢ إﻻ ﺑﺂﯾﺎت اﻟﻜﺘﺎب آﻣﺎن‬
they have no refuge but the verses of the
Book
Their darkness until its end is piety, and ‫ﻓﻈﻼﻣﮭﻢ ﺣﺘﻰ ﻧﮭﺎﯾﺘﮫ ﺗﻘﻰ وﺻﺒﺎﺣﮭﻢ ﻣﻦ ﺑﺪره إﯾﻤﺎن‬
their dawn from its full moon is faith
The ones walking its path are its people, ‫واﻟﺴﺎﻟﻜﻮن ﺳﺒﯿﻠﮫ أھﻞ ﻟﮫ واﻟﻨﺎس ﻓﻮق ﺑﺴﺎطﮫ إﺧﻮان‬
and people atop its courtyard are
brethren
The rich walk to the poor with a heart of ‫ﯾﻤﺸﻲ اﻟﻐﻨﻲ إﻟﻰ اﻟﻔﻘﯿﺮ ﺑﻘﻠﺐ ذا ﺣﺐ ﻟﮫ وﺑﻘﻠﺐ ذا‬
love and care and benevolence ‫إﺣﺴﺎن‬
If Satan is silenced within them, the ‫إن ﯾﺴﻜﺖ اﻟﺸﯿﻄﺎن ﻓﻲ ﻧﻔﺴﯿﮭﻤﺎ ﺻﻮت اﻟﻀﻤﯿﺮ ﺗﻜﻠﻢ‬
voice of conscience speaks humankind ‫اﻹﻧﺴﺎن‬
The light has shone beautifully upon ‫اﻟﻨﻮرأﺷﺮق ﻓﻲ اﻟﻮﺟﻮد ﺟﻤﯿﻞ‬
existence
And the dawn(morning) for lawful ‫واﻟﺼﺒﺢ ﻟﻠﻜﺴﺐ اﻟﺤﻼل ﺳﺒﯿﻞ‬
earning is a path
The servants strive when its light ‫ﯾﺴﻌﻰ اﻟﻌﺒﺎد إذا أھﻞ ﺑﻨﻮره‬
emerges
For sustenance securely connected
And the dawn(morning) is among the
signs of my Lord, my Creator
And of the existence of God it is
evidence
He made the dawn(morning) for our
struggle and endeavor
And striving in its radiance is accepted
The light of dawn(morning) upon
existence a gift for creation
‫ﻟﻠﺮزق ﻓﻰ أﻣﻦ ﺑﮫ ﻣﻮﺻﻮل‬
‫و اﻟﺼﺒﺢ ﻣﻦ آﯾﺎت رﺑﻰ ﺧﺎﻟﻘﻰ‬
‫و ﻋﻠﻰ وﺟﻮد ﷲ ﻓﮭﻮ دﻟﯿﻞ‬
‫ﺟﻌﻞ اﻟﺼﺒﺎح ﻟﻜﺪﻧﺎ و ﻟﺴﻌﯿﻨﺎ‬
‫و اﻟﺴﻌﻲ ﻓﻰ أﺿﻮاﺋﮫ ﻣﻘﺒﻮل‬
‫ﻧﻮر اﻟﺼﺒﺎح ﻋﻠﻰ اﻟﻮﺟﻮد ھﺪﯾﺔ ﻟﻠﺨﻠﻖ‬
