SECTION A: DESCRIPTION

Use this section to detail the character’s description. Talk about what they look like, what notable
features they may have, and what they are talented in. For example;

Dorian Winterheart is short, even for a dwarf. He’s also much thinner than your typical dwarven
stock. But with this lithe frame comes a natural talent for moving swiftly and performing feats of
acrobatics. Dorian is handsome, and he knows it. You’ll just as likely find him trying to secure himself
a warm bed for the night as running someone through with his rapier.

William’s just the average tiefling bard of the bunch, he wears his father's suit and has his mother’s
tongue.Though shorter and physically weaker than most of his accomplices, he’s always trying his
best, providing supportive gunfire and inspiration. He’s good at what he does, and he knows it's
enough.

SECTION B: BACKGROUND

Use this section to detail the character’s early background. Talk broadly about where they were born
(city, farming village, port etc), who their parents are and whether they are still alive (if they are dead,
how did they die?), and what other notable family they have.

William was born a middle child in a small hometown in the grass plains near the kingdom's edge.
The town is largely quiet with not too many people living in it. Lots of visitors though, mostly for the
casino.

His Father, Halifax Aveildy was born and raised in this town and he knows every part of it. He has
partial ownership over “The Ivory Helix casino”, providing the land that Holst used to build the
casino. He was once the head of a small crime ring that operated secretly within the casino, but it
got busted and he currently resides in Silver Dragon Penitentiary. He’s deferential, and laidback.

His Mother, Valmeia Jospehs moved into town after she and Hal married. She works currently as a
singer at the casino, formerly working as a tailor. She made most of the family's clothes by hand.
She openly knew of the ring within the casino, but against her better judgment, never brought it up
with anyone. She’s kind, caring, and loves all of her children equally.
Cynthia, the eldest sibling, was born 5 years before William. Sweet,Cunning, calculated, and always
seemed distant to William. She took her father’s offer to work in the ring, where she excelled in
plotting the best ways to get into something, and not get caught. During her time in the ring, she
developed a minor nicotine addiction. She was also imprisoned after the ring was busted, and
currently resides in prison.

Adelyn, 3 years older than William. Outgoing, Laid-back, Strong, Though easy to offend she always
got along well with William, Cynthia, and Michael. She also took her father's offer to work in the ring.
She met a fighter during her time in the ring, she'd already had an interest with weaponry and
combat and had been asked to be their student. Under the training of the fighter she grew
accustomed to pole arms and by the end had great pride in her prowess with the weapon. She was
also imprisoned when the ring was busted and currently resides in prison.

Michael, youngest of the siblings. Friendly, curious, and reserved. Unlike his other siblings, he was
not offered to join the ring at any point of his life. Instead he decided to traditionally initiate himself
into the ring and make his way up. He’s a trenchcoat and glove enthusiast, with aspirations of being
a technician. During his time in the ring, he went under a different alias to spite his father and
operated out of his sight. When the ring got busted, he was able to slip his way out of being
convicted of any crimes, and currently works in the casino.

Lucy Birget Holst, a tall human woman with short black hair and cornflower blue eyes. Upbeat,
excitable, though with a short temper, she is the eldest child of the Holst family. She was always very
active with the other kids at her side of town, and even at a young age she had a fascination with
firearms. She often used to play with toy guns to practice for the real thing, but it was only until she
was 15 that she had any actual professional training in shooting. Later on she was employed into the
casino that her father had partial ownership of. During one of her shifts, she met William. Her and
William got along just fine and spoke frequently to each other, eventually she brought up that she
was actually a sharpshooter and offered to teach William if he was interested, to her surprise he
was. Some years passed and they started dating, and when William left for adventure she followed
soon after. She currently still adventures

Venelia Aveildy Cotte,

Chester Vincent Coleman, reserved and soft spoken. Born into elven nobility Chester was the only
child of his family and was kept inside for most of his early childhood. He spent his time reading in
his family’s library, where he developed a fascination with aircraft and music. He most especially
didn’t like Sherman in their first meeting, He was louder than everyone else and blunt to boot, he
only ever interacted with him if he absolutely needed to. He got along fine with Yvonne and William
when they met. After spending long enough with the three of them, he loosened up enough to join
their band. Good terms with William when he left

Sherman Fisher, blunt, loud, and denser than a cube of solid platinum. A woodsman’s son, the 4th of
7, born in a coastal village. He immediately threw himself into his father’s line of work when he came
of age, then promptly dropped it when he found his other calling, music and weaponry. Despite his
loud and blunt demeanor, he got along fine in school. He was friendly with Yvonne and William when
they first met, and thought Chester was weird. Good terms with William when he left, and
occasionally sends letters to William’s home address with the misconception that they know how to
send them to him.

Yvonne Stix, kind, naive, a little impatient. Her mother was an organ player at their local church ,
she’s youngest of 3 sisters, she was tricked very frequently by her older siblings and friends alike
due to her naivety, though other than that they got along swell. Aside from that, William doesn’t know
much else about her background, nor does Chester or Sherman. She herself likes to play tricks
sometimes, most particularly the one where she acts like she can’t coordinate her hands effectively,
only to play the organ perfectly the next time they meet. She was close with everyone in the group,
and spoke to them all frequently. Somewhat good terms with William when he left, though she
harbors a small amount of resentment since his leave was quite abrupt.

SECTION C: MOTIVATIONS

Talk about what motivates your character in the short and long term here. A short term motivation
might be to earn enough gold to pay off a debt. A long term motivation might be to hunt down the
people who murdered your parents.

William’s motivations:

● Pay off bail for family (ongoing)

● Put some good in the world, one random or not so random act of kindness at a time
(ongoing)
● Track down Lucy (Not started yet, but he’ll probably start doing it sooner or later)
● Contact Craviel, say one last goodbye. (ongoing)
● Keep the party together, help them with their troubles. (ongoing)
● Contact Enel, find how she's doing (not started, probably going to start sooner or later)
● Get Crav a love interest (Les go)
● Go home when all’s said and done.

SECTION D: FEARS

Use this section to talk about what your character fears most of all. For a character with
demonic ancestry, they might be afraid the world will learn about their demon blood and people
will turn on them. Or your character may be fleeing from someone and they don’t want to draw
too much attention to themselves and risk word reaching their pursuer.

William’s greatest fear is not that he will die, but that everything he’s known and loved would die
with him. He knows that for most, life’s a one time deal, and he wants everyone to live it to its
fullest. He’s also afraid that there might be a time he won’t be able to say the things he should've
said to help someone (Craviel just straight up leaving without a formal goodbye validates this to
him to some degree, but he’s comforted knowing Crav’s trying to be better.)

SECTION E: ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Use this section to detail any other aspects of your character. Examples might be what their
magical weapon is called. Feel free to write as much as you’d like.

There’s a carving in the underside of his musket. It reads “Steady your hand. Aim. Fire. Ok, that
wasn’t bad. You’re getting the hang of it.”

He likes pancakes. The really sweet ones.

He always carries a locket containing a photo of him and Lucy on his person at all times, an
inscription inside reads “I know I haven’t got a lot, I’d have given you more if I had more to give.
Because I love you. And I swear to love you ‘til my dying day.”

He was part of a small student quartet during his college years, he still thinks about them
sometimes.

He secretly calls his musket “Ol’ Betsy” when he occasionally does practice with it.
