Telemann (7687-L75D was one of history's _most prolific
compóse.s. During his lifetime his music enjoyed greater poularity than his
contémporury J.S. Bach. He received no formal musical training, and owes his
eminence tó individual effort. The Canonic Sonatas presented here were
originally composed i¡ 7738 for "TVro German Flutes or TWo Violins".
