Sunbeams pierce darkness. Viscous black
liquid covers the floor in places. The back
wall is open and descends to a pond.

Rock gives way to soil and roots. A warm
room with a soft bed.

leaves and Daisy’s journal.

carvings of an elaborate starscape.

Daisy is usually in either the observatory
or her burrow. Visitors are welcome, but
she will respond poorly if anyone seriously
injures Bertram or the moths.
Steps disappear into a cloudy pond. Small
waves ripple across the water’s surface.
- An eel named Bertram dwells in the
pond. Bertram attacks any stranger
who enters its waters.
- Daisy feeds Bertram to ensure her
safe crossing.
- Bertram will retreat if seriously
injured.
3. Moth nest
Stairs climb into an open rocky cave.
Something in the darkness emits a soft
blue glow.
- A nesting place for five luna moths.
- Glowing eggs line the back wall.
- Touching a moth or an egg causes
panic. The moths will scatter sleep
dust and flee the chamber. Daisy
will investigate any commotion.
A domed chamber, open to the elements.
The room is dominated by a telescope
constructed from a broken pipe and
several pairs of spectacles. The walls
sparkle in sunshine and moonlight.
- Daisy spends most clear nights
observing the stars.
- The walls are studded with quartz
crystals. Sometimes Daisy sings
while working and the crystals
hum back.
- The telescope is trained on two
spiral galaxies in the constellation
Coma Berenices. Named the Mice
Galaxies for their long tails.
- Daisy tells the party she receives
psychic transmissions from these
galaxies during her meditations.
- She will try to answer questions
but may ask a favour in return.
- Grateful for gifts of exotic tea. Will
drop hints to this effect.
