Do we live in interesting times?

The question for todays paper is do we live in an interesting times ? Everyone has their own
opinion but i will be trying to prove that we live in interesting times based on couple of resources.

As Smith,J mentioned in his blog, social media now play an interesting and very large role in our
lives. We know what is happening around the world through social media before getting to know
this information from tv channels. sometimes different trends become popular and because of
them diverse people come together and chat from different parts of the world even inside jokes
are made by a different groups of people from all over the world. this is a very interesting thing to
experience at this age getting to know other people, culture on daily basis all thanks to social
media.

Another important topic is healthcare revolution these days, considering previous years healthcare
is breaking through in medical science an bioethics. there’s a huge advance in medicine, we are not
as scared to get sick as our great-grandparents because we know that our healthcare got to the
point were we are able to recover from almost every sickness.

Lastly I would like to mention about globalisation and cultural interactions. In the past years their
have been a lot of mix in the world. People started to travel and settling in different countries, so
automatically people are getting to know different cultures, this helped in various businesses, for
example various restaurants with oriental food. people started to get to know each other and not
live only from stereotypes. Thanks to this people are now more open minded to travel around for
studies, work or even to find love across the world.

In conclusion, we live in a very interesting and privileged times.

We should use it to the fullest.
