Course Syllabus

The Goal

The purpose of this course is to help students develop their English competence;
namely, linguistic, sociolinguistic and pragmatic according to a B1 level, throughout
the following aspects: listening-speaking, reading, writing and grammatical skills. All
of them will be integrated in such a way that every aspect nurtures each other.

In addition, throughout the course the students will carry out and perform different
tasks and activities in order to become English pro cient speakers able to succeed in
their PET exam by the end of this course. Moreover, the teacher will be a model for
learners and will encourage them to constantly re ect on the act of learning
throughout different techniques and experiences.

Finally, the year syllabus has been divided into main sessions distributed in three terms;
Grammar, Vocabulary, Writing and Literature.
