construction of factories, mass manufacturing,

raised productivity. Even as it raised living
standards and stimulated the economy for many,
it also created societal problems like class
divisions and labor exploitation. The globalized,
highly technologically advanced society we live in
today are clearly a legacy of the Industrial
Revolution. It also acts as a reminder of how
critical it is to address the negative social and
environmental effects of fast industrialization.
International relations were significantly
impacted by the Cold War, which also had an
impact on the arms race, proxy conflicts, and
alliances. Its relevance in the modern era is
demonstrated by the ongoing power struggles
and geopolitical tensions between countries. Cold
War legacies include enduring hostilities,
intraregional rivalry, and the advancement of
military technology. Knowing the history of the
Cold War facilitates navigating modern
international politics and highlights the need for
collaboration and diplomatic solutions to prevent
the start of a new phase of increased geopolitical
tensions.
