The Last Bus

Setting: Yorkshire Hills/ weekend a cold night

Characters: Steve, Nick and Tom- Rose bus driver. barman
-One weekend the three friends were sitting in front of the fire in a
campsite.
-Nick suggested going to a pub.
They walked and arrived at a pub. There were not many people.
They sat a table and saw a woman sitting by the window looking out.
They asked the man at the bar about her and he told them that she was
waiting for the last bus. It went past when the bar closed.
They asked if the bus went past near the campsite. The man said it did.
-They decided to take the bus with the woman.Her name was Rose.
-The bus arrived, they couldn't see the driver's face. but they got on.
-The bus driver laughed a strange laugh. the bus stopped and some
people got on. The got off near a river but there were no houses near.
-All the way, the driver drove very fast. They asked him to slow down
but he did not answer.
-At one moment, the bus stopped and the door opened, they got off
quickly and walked to the campsite.
-When they arrived they saw the woman sitting by the fire. When they
got near she had disapeared.
-They asked the man in the campsite about the woman. He told them
she had stayed at the campsite 70 years before and her husband had
died in an accident.She died a year later. People see her waiting for him.
When they looked at the man they noticed it was the bus driver. They
left and the next holiday they would stay at a hotel.
