Two children walked through the valley. Fred kept saying he was tired.
They sat down for a while. Then George said there was a cabin in the
trees up in the way and went to check it out. The cabin was a little
damp, but there was firewood. They cleaned the cabin and lit a fire. They
had dinner. They were both tired. That's why they didn't talk much. They
put a lot of wood on the fire before they went to bed. George fell asleep
right away, but Fred couldn't. After a long time, he fell asleep watching
the flames. Then he just woke up. He could hear voices. He woke George
up, but George said it was just the wind and he wanted him to sleep. The
voices were getting closer and closer. The door opened and a light shone
on their faces. The cops were the ones who came in, and they said they
were looking all over the valley for them.

Two friends were fishing. That's when a red plane ran over their heads. It
was almost as close as they could see the pilot's face. The plane's engine
was making a strange noise. Jack said the pilot might be in trouble. The
town was far away and they couldn't make a phone call. They decided to
follow the plane along the river. After a little progress, they looked
around. Jack saw the little red plane in the water next to the island
ahead. They went to the island right away. They went to the island right
away. The pilot was a woman. They greeted him, the pilot thanked them
for helping them. Two friends offered the pilot fish for dinner. At the
time, the pilot pulled a large fish out of the plane and said there was
more to it than that.

Alan and Elsa saw the smoke at the end of the street. This was their
house. They ran there. There was a crowd around the house. There was
no sign of Elsa's father, Mr. Cox. Alan's wife said the old man was upstairs
in the house. Alan, despite all the objections, put a handkerchief over his
face and went into the house. Mr. Cox was sleeping peacefully upstairs.
When he woke up, he panicked. Alan told him to put his coat on and put
a handkerchief on his face. Then they went out together. Meanwhile, the
fire brigade and the ambulance arrived. Mr. Cox blamed himself for the
fire.

They moved into a new house. There was a big apple tree in the garden.
Her husband wanted to cut it off. As much as she insisted, eventually the
tree was cut down, its roots removed. Now there was a huge gap in the
tree. Her husband went down to the hole and looked around. He found
some money in the pit. After further investigation, they found a box full
of jewels (probably from wartime).

5
Two men went to the robbery. When they got a signal from their friends
inside the house, they moved in to get into the house. Lacey tried to open
the kitchen door for her friend to enter after entering through the small
kitchen window, but the door was locked. He told his friend he had to go
in through the window. Just as Barnes was about to climb, they heard
car noises. It was the police, and they knew they were being set up.
Barnes suddenly panicked. Lacey told him not to panic, to go to the car
and wait for himself there.

Roy was tired every morning. Despite getting a good night's sleep, he was
always tired. When his brother asked why, he said it might have been his
dreams. But that couldn't be true because psychologists said it was good
to dream. But Roy's dreams were strange. In his dream, he saw that he
was constantly working strenuous work and woke up tired in the
morning. His brother advised him to listen to some music and relax
without sleeping. Roy decided to try it. He slept at night listening to
classical music. When he woke up the next day, his brother asked if it
worked. Roy said he was conducting an orchestra in his dream and
training all night, more tired than any other night.

Jane's great passion in life was animals. The walls of her bedroom were
covered with pictures of animals, just as other girls of her age had posters
of popstars. She used to keep animals in the garden and, if she could, she
brought them into the house too. Usually, however, her mother caught
her."Get those animals out of here!" she used to shout. Jane’s mother
noticed that she was spending quite a lot of time in the shed. As she
stood outside the door of the shed, she could hear Jane talking to
someone inside. At first, she could only see Jane sitting on the ground.
Then she made out the shape of an animal sitting beside Jane. " I found it
wandering through the park," Jane explained. "Well, you know you can’t
keep it," her mother said. " Nobody was even angry with Jane when she
told her story. The police knew all about Jane and her animals

The balloon took off quite slowly, but within minutes they were over the
field. Pete, his mate, knew all about balloons - he would ride one every
weekend if the weather was nice - but he was too busy to answer Andy's
questions. Everything looked so different from the air! "Where are we
going?" he asked Pete. Pete pointed north.“This is our general direction at
the moment,” he said. Fifteen minutes later, Pete was starting to look
worried. A few minutes later they were in the middle of the clouds and
they couldn't see anything. “I didn't expect a time like this,” Pete said.
"Well, let's have some coffee to warm up." He poured two cups and
handed one to Andy. Andy needed a hot drink at this point. "We always
go to those mountains, don't we?" he asked Pete. "Yeah, but don't worry,"
Pete replied. A few minutes later, they made a perfect landing just a few
hundred yards from the farm. "You are far from home!" he said in
response to Pete's question. ".

It was a cold winter afternoon. As Robert crossed the bridge, he stopped
for a moment and looked down at the river below. There were almost no
boats on the river. But near the bridge, almost immediately below it, was
a small canoe with a child in it. "Help! Help!"The cry definitely came from
the river. Robert looked down. The boy was in the water and his canoe
was in the water. it floats away. "Help! Help!" he called again. Robert was
a good swimmer and hesitated only for a moment. After taking off his
jacket, he dived into the river. The icy water almost took his breath
away, but within seconds it reached the boy. "Don't panic," he said again
and began swimming toward the Bank, dragging the boy with hirn. But
at that moment H^ noticed a large motorboat under the bridge. There
were a few people on board, all looking in his direction. Robert decided to
swim towards the boat. "Give me a hand," he shouted as he approached
the boat. Their faces looked into a row. "Funny," he thought. "They look
angry."Quietly the people on the boat helped the boy on board and
wrapped him in a blanket. But they didn't act to help Robert. They were
actually making a movie, and Robert had ruined it.

I've always liked to drive to Marley. It's a fine straight path, with some
pleasant views of the countryside on either side. There are forests and
hills, villages and farms, and about halfway through is a large lake. And
because rarely is there a lot of traffic on the road, I can often enjoy the
view while driving along. Hence, I was quite annoyed the morning before,
when a small green car started running very close behind me. I went a
little faster, hoping to leave the car behind. But whenever I slowed down,
the little car caught up with me. The driver, a middle-aged man, was
grinning and waving at me. However, I don't recognize him and the car.
Once again I started driving a little faster but the little car caught up
with me whenever I slowed down. There are some traffic lights right
before you cross the railroad bridge into Marley and, when it happens,
the lights turn red as I approach. I was still waiting there as the little
green van caught up to me. The driver got out and knocked on my
window. I opened it. "I can help you?" I asked coldly. "I am trying to help
you," said the man. d. “You see, your number plate fell off about fifteen
miles back. I tried to attract your attention, but you didn’t take any
notice!”

Johnny was three years old when he ran away from home for the first
time. Someone left the garden gate open. Johnny wandered, crossed
fields, and, two hours later, arrived in the next village. He could simply
have given his name and address. By the age of seven, Johnny used to
disappear from the house two to three times a year. Sometimes he
walked long distances. On other occasions, he got on a bus or even a
train, and just sat there until someone asked for his ticket. Usually, the
police took him home. "So why?" “I just like to see places,” Johnny told
them. Johnny continued to "see places" although everyone tried to stop
him. Johnny managed to escape. As she got older, her favorite thing was
to hide in a long-haul truck. Sometimes it would travel hundreds of miles
before anyone found out. It's hardly surprising that Johnny finally got on
a plane. He was twelve at the time. It was a cargo plane, and a few hours
later Johnny found himself in Cairo. How did he get on board? Nobody
knows! Despite all of this, Johnny did well in school. He loved math and
languages and, perhaps unsurprisingly, he was particularly good at
geography. "What do you want to be when you grow up?" asked his
teachers. Johnny was quick to answer this question. "An explorer!" he has
answered. “But it's hard to be an explorer in these modern times,” they
tried to tell him, “unless you go to space!” But it was unnecessary;
Johnny knew what he wanted! Just before leaving school, Johnny saw a
notice in one of the dailies. An expedition was about to go to Brazil to go
up the Amazon.

“Vacation abroad? Yes, of course, Mrs. Green. I'm sure we can organize
something for you ”.

The travel agent smiles at the old lady across the counter. He knew her
well. At one point, years ago, she and her husband were going to
Brighton every summer. At that time, he reserved a family hotel for
them. Then they started taking their vacation to France - and he got
them their boat tickets.

Later, when their children grew up, they “discovered” Italy and Spain.
He bought their plane tickets or found them a cheap vacation.

But then, the previous fall, Mr. Green passed away. Well, no more
vacation abroad for Mrs. Green, he thought. "She'll probably start going
to Brighton again!" But he was wrong! Here she is, just a few months
after the death of her husband, back in her office to ask him for a
vacation abroad.“Sure! A lot of people want to go to India these days. It's
all those shows and movies on TV. However, at his age…” “India…” he
said.“Well yeah. I'm sure we can arrange something for you.” He showed
Mrs. Green a brochure. “How about a two-week tour, for example?
Complete with plane ticket, hotels, meals, and guides. You'll see the really
important places - and you won't have to think of anything! " " Thank
you, "said Mrs. Green." That's exactly what I don't want. The travel agent
looked puzzled. "Look," continued Mrs. Green. "I have a guide from India
here." She motioned to him.

Friday Once I have something important to keep in my diary. Normally I
have to think of something to write - but today is different. Something
special happened; I lost my job! Come on, I'm going to bed now. I will
think about it in the morning. Monday, I wake up at 6.30. The sun is
shining; the birds are singing. For a while, I felt really happy. Then I
remembered; I didn't have a job. I can lie in bed all morning - but I don't
want to. «Fool! At least you have a job! » After that, I went to the Job
Center together. I filled out a form and had an interview with an
employee. She's pretty agreeable, really, but she asked me lots of dumb
questions! Anyway, she doesn't have a job to invite me. I have to go back
there on Wednesday. Tuesday, today I called the bank and checked my
account. At least I'm not short of money - for the moment. Then I passed
by the office where. She usually has some ideas. Wednesday, I saw another
employee at the Job Center today. He's not very encouraged. "You need a
little training," he said. «In the computer, for example.» In short, they
don't have a job for me! I will definitely call Liz in the morning. Friday, I
called Liz twice yesterday, but I couldn't get an answer. I feel very boring.
After that, I have been walking a long way and I feel much better. I went
home and watched a TV show - about unemployment! That depressed
me again! Saturday I finally managed to get through to Liz this morning.
Actually, she was pleased when she heard I was looking for a job! "Good!"
she said. "Just come and see me tomorrow. Rose and I’ll tell you all about
my plans!" Then she rang off. So I’m going to see her tomorrow. But
what are her plans, I wonder?

It was Saturday morning. Nicky and I were just finishing our purchases.
"Show me ..." Nicky said. "We were at the supermarket, at the bakers and
the greengrocer's ... Is that a lot?" I looked at my list. "I just need a few
things from chemists," I told her. "Okay," Nicky said. "If you do, I'll call
the bookstore." We agreed to meet at the coffee shop in a quarter of an
hour. I arrived first. She looked quite excited when Nicky came in. "So you
found your book?" I asked as she sat down. «Do you remember the
woman who lived opposite the church? "Well, yes," Nicky said. «She
painted - but only as a hobby. In fact, she was a writer - and I just
bought her latest book! »Nicky pulled a book from her bag and handed it
across the table. The name was "Death

Comes to the Village". "A detective story," I said. "Hey, do you think we're
in this?" "I'm sure I am," Nicky said, looking quite pleased with herself.
Some time passed after our meeting in the cafe and I didn't hear
anything from Nicky. I decided to call her and ask about the book. "Oh,
that!" she muttered. "It doesn't sound very pleasing," I said. "Weren't you
in the book after all?" "Yes," Nicky said. " I’m in the book all right! But
who do you think I am? I’m the village postwoman! I pass on all the
gossip in the village! I even open letters sometimes! I’m the most
unpleasant person in the whole book! That woman is no friend of mine. I
can tell you!"

When a check for £ 200,000 arrived in the mail one morning, Mrs.
Wood almost fainted. She did football pools every week, but she never
expected anything to win. She never mentioned it to her family because
she didn't want them to laugh at her. Her husband and her son Ron
knew everything about football. They also did pools every week and quite
often won a few pounds. The family was in the kitchen when she came
and held the check without being able to say a word. Her husband took
her check and placed it in the middle of the kitchen table. Wood. He was
fifty-two and worked as a truck driver. "We'll buy a nice country house, a
new car - and we'll have a nice easy life!" «Don't be selfish. This one!
"Exclaimed Ron." You're old - you don't need money! There's nothing
wrong with this house and you already have a car. No. I have a different
idea. W I start a business - something on computers or video. I'll run it
and you can help. And we all share profits ». "Just listen to you!" Diane
said. «You are as selfish as Dad! And you're both stupid! This money will
be useless to us ... can't you see? It will ruin our lives. Money always
destroys people's lives. It's best to send the check back or give it to charity
». Then a real quarrel broke out. It went on and on until they were
interrupted by a voice. "Stop it, everyone!" It was Mrs. Wood with a
determined expression on her face. Mrs. Wood picked up the check and
put it in her pocket. Then, without saying another word, she left the
room

Dear Pat, some time ago I asked you about the best way to travel to
Edinburgh overnight and you advised me to take the bus. "It's cheap and
convenient," you said. "And very comfortable." I got some advice. Now let
me tell you what happened! We left on time and stopped for dinner at
the cafe around 9.30. It wasn't a place I'd like to eat, and it was also
very crowded, so I decided to buy chocolate. We set off again at 10.15.
The lights went out and I sat down to get some sleep. But the people
right behind me kept talking and burst out laughing at a joke every now
and then. I asked them to be quiet, but they didn't notice at all.
Eventually, however, I fell asleep - but then the people behind me woke
me up! "Snore," they said, "and you won't let us sleep!" Then I almost
never slept. Then, at about 5.30, about 40 miles south of Edinburgh, the
bus broke down. The driver went to the phone and asked for help, but
when the ambulance finally arrived, they could not start the bus.
Eventually, they had to send for another and we all had to change
coaches - in the rain! At that time, I was very hungry and longed for a
pleasant hot drink. I got one - when we finally reached Edinburgh at
nine o’clock! By then I was so exhausted I went straight to bed and
stayed there for the rest of the day - the first day of my holiday! As you
can imagine, I don’t intend to travel by coach again overnight. Of course,
I’m not blaming you for all this - but thanks for the advice!

Yours, Ron

think much of it. William left to help paint Mr. Fisher's House. By 2:00, everyone was back in the

and they had to find a new building. They were going on their bikes looking for a place. Kathy gave
her bike to her friend to fix, but she couldn't fix the rear brake until the day they had a picnic. Kathy
said it wouldn't be a problem, and that's how she set out. As they set off, Kathy hung on to the pedal
to catch up with them. They wanted to race down the hill. As she was driving down, Kathy saw a
truck heading down Main Street, but it was too late for everything. He didn't hold the brakes. Then
everything went dark.

Chapter 5
Kathy was taken to hospital by ambulance and her head it's wrapped in bandages. That was crazy.
When she opened her eyes, she asked to meet William. When we were talking about William, the
nurse told William to leave the room and told Kathy to rest. Kathy closed her eyes and started
thinking about Emily.

friends what had happened, but her friends didn't believe her.

Kathy there alone. Kathy came and heard that voice again. He was calling her to the chair again. He

day, the girl whose Diamond heart was stolen came.  That girl was upset that she was doing Lord
Hampton's work, and she felt pity.  One day the girl said in her dream, "Everybody will leave you and

her land, you will find peace".  Lord Homptan said to Kathy "don't leave me alone."  Kathy didn't

grandmother was the girl with the diamond heart. William didn't believe Joan, and when she arrived
on Saturday, everyone came to the office. Joan said she would no longer be a manager, and she
chose 3 people for it: Wiiliam, John and Sally. Everyone gave the game to someone and went back to
work.
