This year, the Sports Festival between Jafina Hindu College, Jaffna & Ananda College Colombo titled as “629 208 - 2” organized by Jaffna Hindu College Old Boys’ Association will be held in Jaffna from 22" ‘to 24" March 2024, The sporting festival will be comprised of two cricket matches, one between the school boys for the V. T. S. Sivagurunathan Memorial Trophy and the other between old boys of the two schools for the Arjuna Ranatunga Challenge Trophy, in addition to the Basketball, Table Tennis, Carrom and Chess tournaments & an English Debate between the two schools. Further, a significant number of students and staff representing both schools would participate at this event. Additionally, with the increased popularity of this event among wider communities who are residing both in Jaffna and in Colombo and with the Print and Digital media coverage islandwide, we expect a noteworthy attraction by the people to the event.
