Vamoosh was first created by Thomas Gregory in 2009. With input from a wealth of highly experienced
colleagues, the program sought to meet a demand for accessible and practical material for use in group
lessons. New pieces are trialled by ruthless and honest critics, resulting in a thoughtful and detailed
curriculum. More information as well as Teacher Guides can be found on the Vamoosh website.

Thomas Gregory is an inspiring cellist, teacher and composer. Driven to motivate

children to practice, he has composed hundreds of educational pieces for a range of
instruments, ensembles and levels. Thomas coaches and directs ensembles for both
children and adults and appears on concert platforms regularly, as both cellist and
conductor. He often makes guest appearances at music programs around the world and
at teacher-training seminars and workshops.

The illustrations are by Martin Gregory, Thomas’s father.
