Question One.
What is the name of the survey I chose?

Answer
Mental health in college student

Question Two
What is the purpose of the study?

Answer
The purpose of the research is to collect and analyze data regarding college student’s mental
health. The research will particularly look at the many effects that college and outside sources
have on mental health habits.
Question Three
What was my experience of taking a psychological survey online?

Answer
It was a pleasant experience as I was comfortable and in my own space. No pressure whatsoever.

Question Four
Do I think I will be more honest on a survey like this, compared to face to face?

Answer
Personally, I would be honest both online and face-to-face but I think there are some questions I
would not have been able to give clear-cut answers if it were face-to-face. Being online gave me
that freedom, and confidence to answer more openly since I am anonymous.

Question Five
Did I notice any questions that were unclear or leading and in what way?

Answer
The questions were plain and easy to understand. However, some questions were asked to
validate the truthfulness of the answers given in other sessions.

Question Six
Do I think this kind of survey or online survey in general will likely have a representative
sample, why and why not?

Answer
Well, for my survey topic, I think it can capture the representative samples if the participants are
honest. Since it is a survey and not an experiment where the individuals have to participate and
be observed, I think if the participants who are involved in this or any other online survey can be
honest with the information or data they give, then it can capture the proper representative
sample.
