A Diary is a personal record of events and happenings in a person’s life


Diary writing is the writing down of events, conversations and
observations in a personalized manner.

Imagine you spent an entire day without any technology (no phones,
computers, or TV). Write a diary entry about your day, detailing the
activities you engaged in and how it felt to be unplugged for a day.
Your task is to write a diary entry on “A Day without Technology”

Remember to:
1. Begin with "Dear Diary."
2. Write in the past tense, as you will be writing a recount of the
day’s events.
3. Use pronouns, like "I," "me," and "my" to show that you are
writing about yourself. You should be writing in the first person.
4. Write about your thoughts, experience and feelings.
5. Use emotive language to express yourself e.g when you are
expressing how you resisted the temptation or what made it
possible.
6. Did you feel you have lost it for the day or you gained?
7. What activities did you engage in to make it possible? Were they
exciting or boring?
8. Did you willingly do it or what circumstance led to a day with no
technology? Would you wish this to happen again or never?
