I am interested in the cashier/store associate position that is available at the Merced Restored
thrift Store. I saw this position advertised on a job opportunity program and feel that I am
qualified to handle the demands of this position. I know I am the perfect person for this job.

I love the thrifting scene . I shop there often and I am aware of the type of merchandise that is
offered at your stores. I am also aware of the dress code and the positive attitudes that are
evident in all of your employees. I am very good with people and my social skills are
impeccable. I have not worked as a cashier previously but I am familiar with the use of a cash
register. I am responsible with the handling of money and I know the importance of giving back
the proper change.
