are industry- and context-specific. In my opinion, the reputation of a product is related to its
higher quality, a suitable price, and effective marketing plans.
Admittedly, quality is the first concern of customers when buying a product. Product
quality includes sustainability, usefulness, reliability, safety, and overall user satisfaction. If
a product meets or exceeds customer expectations with a high-quality assessment, it has a
higher chance of succeeding, making it the best item in the market. Product price is the
second factor contributing to the success of the category. Pricing is crucial because it
establishes the value that your product has for the manufacturer and clients. Customers'
purchase decisions are heavily influenced by price, which also gives sellers an advantage
over other distributors. If the two products are identical in terms of material, style, and color
but differ in price, the less expensive product will be able to reach a larger buyer and
generate more sales.
The success of famous items is also identical to the success of implementing an
effective marketing strategy. In marketplaces where a variety of brands are available for the
same kind of product, marketing may be the deciding factor for a consumer. It highlights the
outstanding features as well as the value of the product and builds its own brand for the
product, thereby generating revenue as a result of the product's success. For instance, while
Coca Cola and Pepsi are functional soft drinks, both brands spend money on marketing each
year to make themselves seem unique. Furthermore, these days, social networking sites are
frequently used for marketing purposes and online shopping has grown in popularity. As a
result, it is easier to recommend items based on customers’ need, and product success
processes occur more quickly.
In conclusion, goods from manufacture become successful due to improved quality,
pricing, and impressive marketing strategies.

Question 2: Write a biography of one famous businessman/ businesswoman in your


country together with his/her achivements.

Known for her role as a female judge on the reality TV program Shark Tank in
Vietnam, Thai Van Linh, also known as Linh Thai, is among the most prosperous
businesswomen of today. Thai Van Linh attracts a lot of admiration not only through her

popularity and success in her business career but also because of her extremely happy
family life.

Thai Linh's real name is Thai Van Linh. Although she was born on April 10, 1977, in
Ho Chi Minh City, when she was 2 years old, she and her mother immigrated to the US.
After a long time abroad, she decided to return and work in Vietnam in 2008.

Formerly the Director of Strategy and Operations of VinaCapital, Thai Van Linh had
a poor childhood. Her family was struggling financially at the age of seven, so she had to
start selling candies on her own. She always knew how vital it was to be financially
independent. Linh had to borrow money to complete her two years of master's degree
coursework while attending university, even though she was awarded a scholarship.

Ms. Linh, a Vietnamese American entrepreneur who graduated with a master’s


degree in business administration majoring in finance, is holding the esteemed position of
General Director of Vingroup Ventures Joint Stock Company. She is also the founder of
several fashion and apparel companies, such as The One Couture and Rita Phil. Besides
being a businessman, Shark Linh is also a speaker at many programs, the most impressive
of which is the speaker at Forbes' Women's Summit 2018. Apart from her successful career,
the businesswoman enjoys a happy life with her partner and two children.

There is no detailed report on specific assets but looking back on her career with
many senior positions in large corporations, Thai Van Linh owns a fortune that is
considered one of the most valuable. People who own large assets in Vietnam can reach
several hundred billion to thousands of billion.
