1st post (Symphony of success)

What does success sound like to you? What is your symphony of success?

Not what you’ve been told success is, nor what your parents say it is, nor what your teachers,
friends, school, culture, or even the commercials on television define it to be. All those
opinions are constructs of the desires and aspirations of other people. What they deem to be
success does not and should not have a foothold on you.

Miyamoto Musashi once said, “there are many ways to the top of the mountain.” This is to
say that there is no single path to getting to the top. There is no one way to success.

Just because society tells you that you have to follow a specific process does not mean they
are right. In fact, most people are not even following their own path but, like sheep, they are
following the path set before them by others.

So my question to you is, What is your symphony of success? When you say, “I want to live a
successful life,” what does that tune sound like?

Most people live in a state of quiet desperation. They never once have sat down to think,
“What do I want to do?” “Who do I want to become?” “What do I think it means to be
successful?” Yet they walk through life asking others to define for them one of the most
foundational questions that will determine the quality and future of their life.

These question you must answer as the equanimity of your soul depends on it.

The symphony of success is determined by the ear of the beholder. What may sound beautiful
to you may not necessarily be appealing to others, and that’s okay. Who cares! They are not
the ones who have to live your life or deal with the consequences of your decisions.

Your success is never determined by others, so why should your definition of what success is
be determined by them? Do not allow them to corrupt your ears with what they believe to be
the tune of success. You must find your own symphony.

How foolish would it be for a subject to listen to the likes of Bach, Mozart, or Beethoven and
simply disdain their symphony and genius due to a lack of preference? If success is self-
determined, then why should you limit yourself to the predetermined ideas or ideals of
others?

Now, by no means do I think one should neglect the opinions of others. In fact, in the
multitude of counsel, there is wisdom, BUT there is a difference between advice and the
forceful subjugation of an ideology.

To me? Success is defined as the persistent pursuit of your fullest potential. To me, a
successful person is one that decides what they want to become and diligently works towards
the accomplishment of that vision regardless of what others may think of them.

A glitch. An anomaly. They forge their own path. They are not bound to the ways of the
system. They live in a state of peace because they understand who they are and where they
are headed. An anomaly breaks out of the molds of the ordinary and strives to achieve that
which they know deep down they were created to be. They embrace their uniqueness and
strive to become the best version of themselves.

Sounds motivational speaky right? Well I dont give a fuck lol. Let this be of motivation in a
world full of pessimism and narrow mindedness.

So let me ask you once again… What is your symphony of success? This is a question many
have yet to answer. It is a train of thought that most have yet to contemplate. It is a tune that
most have yet to capture. It is a sound most have yet to hear. But you are different.

When you finally answer this question, well… your life will begin to play in harmony with
your desires, dreams, and aspirations. Fuck the noise. Find your symphony.

Walk with Power. Walk with Truth.

3rd post (Discipline is for losers)
Don’t be disciplined. It’s bad. Yes, you heard me right. Discipline is negative reinforcement
of something we think we ought to do. You’re not lacking discipline, you are lacking
motivation and purpose.

People wonder why they lack the commitment to fulfilling a task, why they rebel against the
very things they know will do them good. Yet they never question the methodology they use
to achieve the desires results.

Before we begin, let’s look at semantics.

When you’re growing up and do something “bad” or something “authority” doesn’t want you
to do, you get what? Disciplined. As you grow up the environment changes yet the metric
remains the same. You don’t meet a deadline, you get a formal warning. You drive faster than
you “should”, you get a ticket. Everywhere around us, we are being suppressed by negative
reinforcement cloaked with the idea of discipline. Negative reinforcement does not work, yet
we do that do ourselves all the time.

Instead, we must practice positive reinforcement and reward mechanisms. Rewarding

ourselves when we accomplish what we know we must do will result in longevity and
consistency.

The same system applies to our #1 employee (your physical body is the employee of your
mind), one must reward this employee in order for it to stay motivated to continue
progressing. You can only discipline someone X amount of times before they rebel and
despise that task.

It is proven time and time again that positive reinforcement is the catalyst for consistency and
progress…

It’s not that the task is bad, it’s that the approach we implement towards accomplishing this
task that usually doesn’t work. If we can find how and what motivates us to progress, I
believe that is where the difference is made.

For example, you have a hard time going to the gym? Well, your reward for exercising is
having dinner. Therefore, you begin training yourself to know that you are rewarded dinner
conditional to you exercising. This system is not oppressive, it’s not managed by discipline
but by rewarding positive behavior.

We have been handed everything on a platter that is why we have become mentally weak and
extremely dull. If you turn everything into a reward, even a cup of water can be cherished.

Everything you do must be earned. If you establish a system of self-rewarding outcomes for
positive behaviors, you will find yourself doing those things with more ease because you
want to be rewarded. Now the question is, what things in life will I consider rewards and
what will I consider tasks to get those rewards. That’s a personal dilemma, so I cannot answer
that since people have different goals.
Let me share one with you guys… Unless I make a 10k profit on any given day or more I
cannot watch anime/Netflix at night. I didn’t earn the privilege or the reward for leisure that
day, so I will continue to push until that action of watching anime can be self-administered as
a reward for hitting the mark.

If you master the ability to positively affirm your good work, you will never struggle with
getting your next objective accomplished. We do not practice discipline cuz self-discipline is
stupid. We practice self-regulation and we reward ourselves for positive behavior.

The devil is in the details. We are not slaves to the system. We are not slaves to performance
or money-making. Therefore, we do not impart negative thoughts for not accomplishing X
objective. We just know that we cannot unlock the next level until this level is complete. We
are not disciplined to accomplish this level. We are hungry to accomplish it because we want
the reward.

This technique is robust and I have developed it by understanding how animals are
programmed to follow directions more effectively. Want to read every day? Make using your
cellphone the reward for having read 3 chapters. Want to go to dinner with your girl on
Saturday? Make your goal having listened to at least 4 podcasts that week in order to unlock
dinner. If you miss the mark you’re going to perform until that objective is met.We do not
discipline ourselves, however, we select certain high stimulating behaviors in our lives as
rewards, instead of indulging in everything with no second thought.

Take time today to select those rewards and the tasks one must accomplish in order to unlock
that. If you are true to yourself, you will earn every intensely stimulating activity. This will
make you a machine of accomplishment. From the outside, they will not understand this
secret method.

People will think you are establishing self-disciplined when in reality you are just giving
yourself a reward for accomplishing what you set out to accomplish. We do not have negative
experiences with our goals because as humans we tend to avoid that which we do not like.
Take something you do not like and grant a positive reward for doing it, eventually, you’ll
like doing it because you’ll know what you get for doing that which you initially struggled to
do.

Take some time today to figure out your short-term objectives (daily, weekly, and monthly)
and the reward attached to each accomplishment. Now you have the desired motivation to not
stop until that goal is met. I hope this helps, feel free to let me know your thoughts, and
remember… discipline is for losers and weak-minded individuals.
4th post (Think before you speak)
Having the urge to say something doesn’t mean you should, right? If so, how do we gauge
whether or not it’s the best thing to say?

In this article, I intend to break down the simplicity of one of the most powerful pieces of
advice that we’ve been given, yet one which few have mastered. At the end of this read, I
believe you will have tremendous insight on how to apply this powerful principle in a
practical way.

When we were growing up, we were told by everyone around us to think before we speak,
yet they never taught us how to think. We were taught to silently wait until the urge of
voicing an opinion, thought, idea, insult, promise, lie, etc., slowly went away. This is not the
way.

The question probably shouldn't be whether thinking before you speak is a good idea, as there
are many ancient texts from the men of old compelling us to carefully scrutinize that which
we think we may want to say.

Proverbs 17:28 — “Even a fool who keeps silent is considered wise; when he closes his lips,
he is deemed intelligent.”

The Buddha spoke about the four kinds of ill speech. The first is lying. The second is slander
or defamation. The third is harsh speech. The fourth is wasteful blabbering or stupid talk.

A famous Japanese proverb says that the tongue is but three inches long, yet it can kill a man
six feet high.

I propose that maybe the question should be tailored towards what I should think about
before I speak as we can all agree, analyzing what we say is a good idea.

However, the key is not analyzing but more so through what filter do we analyze that which
we say.

Last night, I formulated a speech filtration system designed to increase the odds of a positive
outcome for yourself and those around you. So here's the story…

Last night I was going to make a comment regarding something that I thought was a great
achievement. As I meditated on the thought, the first thing I asked myself was, “If I say this,
how will it negatively impact every individual in this room (personally), both short term and
long term. Secondly, how do they benefit from this.”

We may potentially evaluate the instant reaction, yet few have mastered the evaluation of the
long-term effects of said comment. As I thought about how it would positively or negatively
impact the other people in the room, I decided that it was best to remain unsaid. Many times,
we don’t understand the ripple effects of our speech, it is best to remain silent until we can
comprehend the impact of what is said.
It's not that the comment was bad or that it came from a bad place. It’s that the comment was
not strategically beneficial to me or my counters. It was about the pros and cons of the action,
not about the subjective morality attached to it.

Here is my robust filter system, in no specific order.

Filter 1: Individually understanding and feeling the current state of each person listening
(based on prior interactions) and how it would positively or negatively impact them in the
immediate short term, and how it may echo long term in the chambers of their mind.

Filter 2: How will I be negatively impacted long term and short term by those listening to me.
Will they use it against me? Can it cause negative emotion? If so, is there a better approach?

Filter 3: Does this person have enough context about me to give them a clear understanding
of my intentions? Is this information essential for them to hear?

If yes, revert to filter two regarding the approach. If you cannot find a high success rate
approach due to your lack of understanding of the counter, maybe you don’t risk the chance.
If no, then don’t bother saying it. It's not for their ears to hear.
Filter 4: How do I benefit from saying this? Now, this is a tricky one because many times
saying the right thing may have a negative impact, yet it’s the right thing to do. So use this
filter based on personal conviction.

Filter 5: Setting. Is this the most optimal time, place, and setting to make this comment? This
is what I believe to be a robust train of thought with regards to what you should be thinking
about prior to talking. Just because a thought enters your head, does not mean that it is true or
even beneficial to say. So this filter system will help you evaluate the necessity of voicing
said thoughts.

Secondly, if you are always talking or thinking about what you have to say, you have no room
to listen. Listening tends to be the place where one learns the most. I guess another article on
filtering what you listen to could come in handy.

I hope this is beneficial and has allowed you to understand a little more about what it means
to think before you speak. If you enjoyed this make sure to follow and turn those notifications
on!

Finally, let me know your thoughts below. I’d like to get your perspective or advice on this
too. Thanks fam

5th post (Wealth is a Mindset)
Over the last 5 years of my entrepreneurship journey, I always wondered what was the
difference between those that run the ecosystem of this planet and those that just appear to
flex big plays, yet are still small players of the game. The difference is quite astonishing.

Let me preface, the people you see on online flexing foreign whips and diamond chains have
very little understanding of how the game is played, who runs it, and how to be the game
maker instead of a piece that is moved around on the chessboard of life. Avoid these fools.
The game makers are the real OGs, these are the people who create the rules, the loopholes,
and the think tanks that design the ladder that we so desperately try to climb thinking we can
make it to the top.

My biggest motivation to become a game maker and not a puppet in the theater show of life
was to experience true and ultimate freedom (a commodity that very few human beings get to
experience). From birth, we are conditioned to be debt slaves of the system. Rat racing away
while giving up our greatest commodities (time, health, and creativity) to a system that will
leach onto our energy until they suck our life dry. When DJ Khalid said “They don’t want us
to win.” he wasn’t kidding.

Before we even begin talking about what wealth is we must first define it. Wealth is
abundance, an unlimited supply of whatever resource you consider essential to your freedom
or survival. To many uneducated individuals, wealth is attributed to dollars in a bank account
or high-income-producing jobs (this includes self-employment). To others, it may be
freshwater or warm food on the table. At the end of the day, wealth can only be measured by
the level of mindset one has, and the exposure of information that one has which dictates the
way that one perceives the world.

So why is wealth a mindset? It's quite simple. Everything originates in the mind. You create a
reality (often elusive) based on the information you are given regarding such reality. The
makers of the game know this, that is why they forced themselves into getting access to your
mind at a young age so that you are indoctrinated into a set of beliefs that are favorable for
them.

We know this is true because everyone learns the same things from the system that claims to
have our best interest in mind, yet the outcome of most people's lives is disastrous. This is all
by design.

If you can erase your childhood scripts regarding what life is about, how happiness is
achieved, how to obtain purpose, and how to build true wealth, then you can finally begin to
develop the mindset that will elevate you into a position that very few will ever unlock. You
must first delete to then reupload.

Don’t do what billionaires say, do what billionaires do. There is a big difference.

I promise you, you’ll rarely (NEVER) find the secrets hidden behind true wealth by listening
to a 19-year-old on YouTube talk to you about dropshipping. In fact, it has a great chance of
setting you back big time. So, in order to develop wealth, we must first develop our mind (a
task we’ve been discouraged from doing since birth, thanks to the public school system).
Exploring and venturing into the unknown is always frowned upon by the mob of sheep that
claim to know what is best for us.

You become wealthy (in every aspect imaginable) by developing your mind. This goes
beyond business. It is the embodiment of your fullest potential at every level, whether it's
physically, economically, emotionally, relationally, etc.

What if I told you wealthy people only focus on getting truly educated because they know it's
the only way to get wealthy? Would you believe me? Well, it's true. If you can develop your
mind and embody (take action) that which you have learned from those who are in the
billionaire or trillionaire bracket, then you are in for a fun ride.

So where to start… Good question. Stop listening to 99.9% of the people around you. Don’t
read best-selling books (just look at who owns the publishing companies, it's usually the
game makers), find what wealthy people read and do, and focus on those things (I promise
you it ain’t on Netflix or the New York Times bestseller list).

You are in control of leveling up the so-called character in this RPG world we live in. Unless
you level up the skillset, mindset, and knowledge you will always be a player in the game.

Money tends to run away from those pursuing it, yet it's easily attracted by those who are at a
level to understand that money is nothing more than monopoly money (in-game currency
designed to keep you running around the board game your whole life). Chase the wealth of
the mind, and the byproduct of it will give you access to more than you can dream of.

Stay blessed, stay grounded, stay awake.
