Good afternoon, everyone. I’m your reporter for this day and I
will present the mythology story of Daedalus and Icarus.
Daedalus and Icarus, an ancient Greek myth famously recorded
by the Roman poet Ovid in his Metamorphoses. According to
the story, Daedalus, a mythical inventor, created wings made of
feathers and wax to escape from Crete where he and his son,
Icarus, were held captive by King Minos.
Icarus was the son of Daedalus, the craftsman who built the
Labyrinth. Which King Minos ordered him to locked up
Minotaur. But after Daedalus aided Ariadne by telling her how
Theseus could escape the Labyrinth he’d designed, King Minos
locked Daedalus and his son, Icarus, inside the maze.
