The objective of the article "Group Dynamics and Behaviour" by Hüseyin Gençer in th first
chapters is to provide a comprehensive overview of the importance of group dynamics in various
fields, including sports, healthcare, and organizational behaviour. The scope of the article is to
provide general information about the studies on the groups and group dynamics. The author
used a literature review methodology to analyze and synthesize the existing research on group
dynamics. The other objective of the article in first part is to explore the concepts and trends in
group dynamics, specifically focusing on small groups. The scope of the article includes
discussing the benefits of groups to organizations, the formation and adherence to group norms,
the roles within a group, and the impact of online/virtual aggregation on group dynamics. The
author used a literature review approach to gather information from various studies and research
conducted in the field of group dynamics. The methodology involved analyzing and
summarizing the findings from these studies to present a comprehensive understanding of the
subject.
The major concepts discussed in the middle of the article include the importance of group
dynamics in social sciences, the impact of globalization, digitalization, and changing political
systems on group dynamics, cross-cultural differences and impacts, migration, social status and
identity, demographic diversities, leadership, job performance, motivation, dynamics in sport
teams, organizational citizenship behavior (OCB), ethics, and healthcare. The author also
discusses the most accepted concepts and theories in the literature related to group dynamics,
such as Intergroup Conflict theory and social identity theory.
The last chapter of the article provided a comprehensive overview of the importance of group
dynamics in various fields and the most accepted concepts and theories related to group
dynamics. The article highlighted the benefits of groups to organizations, such as increased
effectiveness, competitive advantage, and the facilitation of behaviors like helping employees to
feel better emotionally. Overall, the article is a valuable resource for anyone interested in
understanding the importance of group dynamics and its impact on behavior.

compared to your prior understanding of group dynamics and behavior”. We understood a lot of
thing's from the article.
The other one we learned from the article is the significance of norms in maintaining group
cohesion and regulating member behavior. It discusses how norms are formed and enforced
within a group, and the social pressure exerted on members to conform to these norms.
Also we understood about the behavior of individuals within a group is influenced by the norms
and rules of the group. The person who follow the group rules are considered full members of the
group and those who do not follow the group rules are excluded from the group
According to the role of the group we deeply aware the significance of roles in shaping
individual behavior within a group. The inclusion of personal characteristics and social status as
part of the role identify also broaden the understanding of individual interacts with a group
setting.
Additionally we can learned from the article about emphasize of the positive impact of adherence
on group functioning an outcomes. It reinforces the notion that when individuals are committed
the group, they are more likely to work together, be productive and achieve their goals.
The last one is we were able to discussed the influence of self-interest, ambition, and gaining is
mentioned as factors that have changed people's perspectives towards groups, leading researchers
to examine group dynamics from a more hedonistic point of view.
