INTRODUCTION

The baking supplies business is registered under the name Pantry Perfection. The business aims
to provide a range of baking supplies for the rising numbers of bakeshops and pastry shops in Malaybalay
City, Bukidnon. Pantry Perfection is a business structured as a Sole Proprietorship

Pantry Perfection is a Sole proprietorship business that is personally supervised by the entity’s
owner.

ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE

The organization is structured as the owner being the top managing body of the business. The record
keeper and the business owner directly communicate with each other. The record keeper can be inside or
outside the organization. Under the direct supervision of the owner is the cashier position. The cashier is
in charge for the collections and disbursements of business transactions. The position is entitled to hold
and secure cash and cash equivalents to be turned over to the owner after the business hours. The goods
receptionist, storage clerk, and delivery personnel are to report to the cashier for any business-related
affairs.

Attendance policy
Purpose: This policy must ensure regular attendance and punctuality of employees to prevent any
deviation that may result in decreased productivity
Scope: This attendance policy applies to all employees regardless of their position or type of
employment.
Responsibility: The cashier is entitled to check attendance policy compliance everyday and report
violation to the management
General Policy Statement:
1. Employees are expected to be present for work everyday.
2. Employees should adhere to call-in procedures and provide an acceptable reason for their absence
or tardiness.
3. Employees should request exception for work absences from their direct management. Follow
procedures for requesting sick leave.
4. Any absences from work not approved by the management is unexcused and is subject for
informal corrective or disciplinary action.
Disciplinary Action: If an employee is absent from work without notifying the management for three or
more consecutive days, it will be considered as job abandonment, or termination without notice.

Compensation and benefits policy


Purpose: The document provides a framework to determine appropriate compensation and benefits for

Scope: This policy applies to all employees of Pantry Perfection.
Responsibility: The owner of the business is responsible for managing a compensation program.

1. Every employee has the right to use a 25-day paid leave.

3. The business is obliged to contribute for the employee’s SSS, PhiHealth, and PAG IBIG Funds.
4. The amount of the annual guaranteed pay is revisited once a year and can be increased based on
the results of the annual performance review.
5. The company will withhold insurance costs and other deductions from the employee’s pay slips.
