2. Motivation
Instruction: In this game, I will be presenting slides that have descriptions, and
the student will have to guess what each description is referring to. They should
pay close attention to the clues in the description to make an educated guess.
GAME HOW TO PLAY
These steps will be repeated three times, and the student who guessed the right
answer will have additional points for their activity later.

VOCATION
a. Introduction
Lesson 1: I AM CALLED FOR A PURRPOSE- Understanding Vacation.
Begin with a quote: "We are not called upon to do all the good that is
possible, but only that which we can do." - Theodore Guerin
Discuss the quote and introduce the concept of vocation. Explain that
everyone is born with a purpose, and vocation is the calling to fulfill that
purpose.
b. Realizing your Vocation
Read Sky High Story
Ask follow up question regarding to the story.
c. Defining Vocation
Define vocation as "a summon or strong inclination to a particular state or
course of action."
Discuss Martin Luther's perspective on vocation and how everyone has a
calling or mission in life.
Discuss the other author perspective that supports defining vacation, like
Victor Frankl and Sam Keen.
d. Vocation vs Career
Discuss the difference between vocation and career
Discuss the importance of vocation
e. Reflection
Ask the following questions
What is the difference between the vocation and career?
Which among the two is of greater importance?
f. Self-Actualization
Discuss the four traits of self-actualization of Maslow’s Hierarchy of
needs.
g. Summary
Recall and summarized the whole lesson discussion.
