How are you guys doing? I can’t believe another month
has already gone by. As you know, I moved home to
Seattle last month and it’s been so nice to catch up with
my family and hang out with my brother.
For this Issue of WTVR, we have two amazing girls that
I know you guys are going to love! We have the amaz-
ing Abby Garrett who just moved to LA from the East
Coast, and we also have the amazing Barbara Ras, our
Argentinian friend who we shot with in Mexico. I know
a lot of you guys have been waiting for her photos!
Next month I’m going to Croatia for Nirvana (http://
www.patreon.com/nirvanamagazine) and you can catch
up with me, Alvin, Robert, and Hayley on our Insta-
gram stories as we will be posting from there. We will
also be adding some more amazing models to our next
issue so stayed tuned. As always, thank you for much for

Q. How do you differentiate work vs art? Are they one
in the same? Or do you view each differently?
A. Work pays the bills, but art feeds the soul. I think it’s
vital for everyone to incorporate their own version of
art into their life, it is necessary to stay sane.
Q. Who has been the most supportive person in your
career?
A. My mother and my grandmother have been the
most supportive people in my career. I wouldn’t be
where I am today without their support and guidance.
A. Down time is extremely important for me. I think
it’s necessary to give your body and mind a break. I
like to unwind with a bath, a glass of wine and my
favorite show at the time.
Q. What would you say to your high school self look-
ing back now?
A. All the reasons you were hated in school, would be
all the reasons the industry has loved you. Keep your
head up!

Q. If you had some advice to give to younger models,

what would it be?

A. The industry will try to rip you apart and piece back
together the person whom they think you should be.
Stay true to yourself and don’t conform to their unat-
tainable standards. Someone will eventually love you
for YOU.

Q. Which of the five love languages is yours?

A. Quality Time.

Q. What is your favorite quality about yourself and

why?

A. My loyalty- I’m a “ride or die” type of person for my

loved ones.

Q. What is your favorite quote of all time?

A. “You have to be odd to be number one.” - Dr. Seuss

Q. How important is down time for you and what do

you like to do to relax?

Q. What was your first modeling job? How old were
you?
A. My first modeling job was actually when I was 8
months old. My dad is a photographer so i got to do
baby shots for a magazine in Argentina. I’ve been
modeling since i was a baby until i was 9 years old,
then took a pause and came back to modeling by my-
self when i was about 15 years old. Growing up with
a photographer as a dad, I got to see the environment
and become part of it at a really young age, seeing
models almost on a daily basis.
Q. If you had some advice to give younger models,
what would it be?
A. When i was 15 and got into the modeling world i
really felt i had to try really hard, honestly i felt like
my body was different, my legs were too big and that
i wouldn’t get booked by any agency. I would even
procrastinate sending emails to agencies, always
waiting for the right time i would had a better book,
always waiting to be skinner, to be readier. I wanted
to tell you that it is fine if someone says no, it’s fine
if you get rejected, this doesn’t mean everyone will,
this doesn’t mean that you are not capable of getting
there. You keep trying, you keep doing tests, and
most importantly you stay confident. There is noth-
ing more beautiful than a girl who loves herself and
her body, and if you have this confidence you will
vibe better, and attract more, you will get more jobs.
Q. If you could have any other job besides modeling
or in addition to , what would it be?
A. I actually work as an artist, and in an art gallery.
Painting has been my biggest passion since i was kid.

sold later on when i was 19. That’s when I started to

Q. Do you believe in love at first sight?
A. I believe that to actually “love” someone you first
got to know them, so I’m not sure you could feel
this at first impression, but I definitely do believe in
chemistry and liking someone right away and having
a special connection.
I’m the kind of girl who will never even kiss , far
less get to bed with anyone if I didn’t have that first
“click”, that connection and force of attraction just by
seeing someone the first time.

set your sights
Exactly one year ago I moved back to LA with the intention of starting this magazine. The idea
had come to me early that year, so I after I was done traveling in my van, I knew it was time to
make the move.

ON WHAT YOU
I really didn’t know how i was going to do it, or what it was really going to be like. I just knew
basically what I wanted, and who I wanted to do it with. I knew that I wanted to be free to create
what I want, when I want, with who I want. And I knew I wanted it to be filled with passion.

WANT
Once I got to LA, everything started falling into place, and I would become more and more clear
on what I wanted this to look like. I found myself in some very uncomfortable and unfamiliar
scenarios that really helped me grow. I learned a LOT (and still am)...

Now, one year later, as I’m moving out of my LA apartment, I reflect on the year I had there. I
am so proud of myself for figuring out all that I did, and pushing myself in the direction of my
dreams.

So much, or so little can happen in one year. Set your sights on what you want, especially the
feeling that you want. Take action when you see opportunities, and do more of what you love

to come to me, instead of trying to force something. By doing this, you allow the potential of
what could be, to open up beyond what your own mind can come up with. Something even bet-
