5) If OK, then check the continuity between each terminal and 1

ground.
CKP sensor continuity: ∞ Ω (Infinity)
(B – Ground)
(G – Ground)

Tester knob indication: Resistance (Ω)

Are the resistance and continuity OK?

YES Go to step 2.
NO Replace the CKP sensor with a new one.

6) After repairing the trouble, clear the DTC using SDS tool.

Step 2 2
1) Crank the engine a few seconds with the starter motor, and V
measure the CKP sensor peak voltage at the coupler.
2) Repeat the above test procedure a few times and measure
the highest peak voltage.
CKP sensor peak voltage: 0.28 V and more
(+ B – - G)
1 Peak volt adaptor
