I have been preparing for Gifted Students’ Competitions since I was in grade 6 out of
passion for English and the desire to broaden my knowledge. I had several attempts since
then to gain prizes, especially in grade 9 when I got the chance to participate in the District
round, but I failed. Up to when I was in Grade 12 did I had a chance to show myself and

I had many memories during this process. When I was in grade 9, I was chosen to study in
the school’s team. We made a close-knit friend group at that time and enjoyed our time

being nicely treated with many snacks and beverage 😊. In the summer of Grade 10, I
enrolled in an advanced English course.
