MAJOR PROJECTS UNDERTAKEN DURING FY 2022-23

During the year 2022-23, IRCTC has undertaken numerous initiatives towards CSR & Sustainability
activities in the field of Healthcare, Sanitation and School Education etc; The Company has been
mainly focusing on the “Healthcare & Nutrition" as common theme as per the guidelines of DPE. Broad
details of the Project sanction under CSR by IRCTC for FY 2022-23 till date are as under:

1. Plantation of plant saplings in and around premises/nearby villages of Railneer PlantAmethi.

Under the broad theme of “Environment Sustainability”, IRCTC provided financial assistance for
plantation of plant saplings in and around premises/nearby villages of Railneer Plant Amethi through
UP Pollution Control, RO, Raebareilly, Govt Of UP.

2. Construction of commercial modular kitchen for General Hospital atRamakrishna Mission Home
of Service, Varanasi, UP.

To strengthen the healthcare set up and under the broad theme of “Healthcare”, IRCTC provided
financial assistance to General Hospital, Ramakrishna Mission Home of Service, Varanasi, UP for
construction of state of the art modular kitchen in Stainless Steel. The kitchen will provide healthy food
for the patients and healthcare warriors.

3. Procurement and setting up of Table Tennis Tables along with racket at Slum Area Bhopal,
MP.

To promote sports under the broad theme of “Sports”, IRCTC provided financial assistance to NGO-
Leela Maa Vindhyawasin Sansthan Samiti, Bhopal , MP, for procurement and setting up of 2No latest
Table Tennis Table along with rackets for children of Slum Area Bhopal.
4. Distribution of innovative HILNET, a Long Lasting insecticidal Net (Mosquito Nets), for
marginalized and vulnerable population in various blocks within Nalanda district, Bihar.
To fight the vector borne diseases in Nalanda District of Bihar, IRCTC provided high quality HIL-NETS
(Mosquito Nets) to under privileged and weaker section of the society.

5. Financial assistance for procurement of medical equipments to Detect kidney and liver function
and Haematology Analyser /CBC under Animal Welfare for Animal Hospital, Shelter and
Gaushala run by People for Animal (PFA) at Gurugram and Ghaziabad.

Under the broad theme of ”Animal Welfare”, IRCTC provided 2 (Two) ERBA EM Destiny 180 Fully
Automatic Machine (to Detect kidney and and liver function) and One ABX Micros ESV 60
(Haematology Analyser /CBC) for Animal Hospital, Shelter and Gaushala run by People for Animal
(PFA) at Gurugram.
6. Installation of Hand pumps in small villages of Phulpur, Prayagraj West& North though
NGO- Pradeep Social welfare.

Under the broad theme of “Environment Sustainability and drinking water”, IRCTC provided
financial assistance to NGO - Pradeep Social welfare for installation of Hand pump in small villages of
Phulpur, Prayagraj West and Prayagraj North, District Prayagraj (U.P.)

7. Procurement of E-Carts (Garbage) for Puri and E-Rickshaws for Balasore through NGO- Nav
Chetna Swabhiman Charitable Foundation.

Under the broad theme of ”Social Empowerment and Environment Sustainability”, IRCTC provided
financial assistance to Nav Chetna Swabhiman Charitable Foundation NGO for procurement of 02 E-
Carts (Garbage) for Puri and 04 E-Rickshaws for Balasore.
8. Setting of Computer Center by providing Laptops for Blind women and Disability Social and
economic empowerment of differently-abled.

Under the broad theme of”Social & economic Empowerment of differently-abled through Skill
Development” IRCTC provided laptops along-with voice software to Computer Centre managed by
NGO- NAB India, for Skill, Social and economic growth for differently-bled blind women.

9. Under Research & Development activities, IRCTC supported lndian Council of Agricultural
research for Establishment of Bio-fertilizer, Bio-pesticides laboratory and production unit to
promote organic farming and use of Bio-fertilizers.

Under the broad theme of R&D”, IRCTC financially supported to Krishi Vigyan Kendra- Medak, lndian
Council of Agricultural research for providing finance assistance for procurement of Plant and
machinery for establishment of Bio-fertilizer, Bio-pesticides laboratory and production unit at KVK
Tuniki.
10. Construction of a new toilets block f o r t r i b a l boys hostel run by NGO- AIM for Seva
at Jabalpur Madhya Pradesh.

Under the broad theme of ”Education for tribal Children”, IRCTC provided financial assistance for
construction of a new toilets block at boys hostel run by NGO for rural and tribal children Jabalpur
Madhya Pradesh by NGO-AIM for Seva.

11. Establishment of Mini Science Center in 02 Schools in West Sikkim through NGO-Seva Sahayog
Foundation.

Under the broad theme of “Education”, IRCTC financially supported for establishment of Mini Science
Center in 02 Schools in West Sikkim, an Aspirational district of Sikkim to NGO Seva Sahayog
Foundation.
12. Construction of exclusive school for special kids in Bhitarli, Uttarkhand.
Under the broad theme of “Education of special kids”, IRCTC financially supported for construction of
classrooms at exclusive school for special kids in Bhitarli, Uttrakhand through NGO- Dyslexia Society
of Uttarakhand.

13. School revamping by providing IT enabled interactive teaching aids and project in 8
Government schools.

Under the broad theme of “Education”, IRCTC financially supported for revamping of 8 Govt.
Schools at Udham Singh Nagar, Haldwani/Uttarakhand, Jaisalmer/Rajashtan, Chitrakoot/UP
(Aspirational Districts) through NGO-Centum Foundation.

14. Provision of Solar Led Tubes to n e e d y families at Keonjhar district, Odissa through
NGO- Parichay Foundation”.
15. Up-gradation and developmentsof Prakritik Chikitsa Evam Yog Anusandhan Kendra, Agar,
Malva MP
Under the broad theme of “Healthcare”, IRCTC financially supported for for up-gradation and developments of
Prakritik Chikitsa Evam Yog Anusandhan Kendra, Agar, Malva MP through NGO-Agar Seva Bharti Samiti,
Agra, Malva, MP.

16. Revamping of 02 (Two)Government schools infrastructure in Aruku Vally, Aandra Pradesh

through AAROHAN,NGO.

17. Construction of hostel space for dressmaking section in skill development centre at RIICO
industrial Area Jaipur.

Under the broad theme of “Skill Development” IRCTC financially supported for construction of hostel
space for dress making section in skill development centre at RIICO industrial Area Jaipur though
Laghu Udyog Bharati Skill Development Center.

18. Establishment of Mini science lab at Govt School Narmada an Aspirational District) through
District Magistrate, Nalanda, Gujarat (Aspirational Districts).

Under the broad theme of “Education”, IRCTC financially supported for Establishment of Mini
science lab at Govt School Narmada, Gujrat through District Magistrate, Narmada, Gujarat.
19. Provision of medical equipments at Diagnostic Centre of Ambad Taluka in Jalna District
Maharashtra.

Under the broad theme of “Healthcare”, IRCTC financially supported for procurement of medical
equipment at Diagnostic Centre to Ambad Taluka of Jalna District, Maharashtra through NGO-
SAVALI.

20. Distribution of Aids and Appliances to PWDs at East Sikkim an Aspirational District through
“Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation of India”.

Under the broad theme of “Healthcare”, IRCTC financially supported for distribution of Aids and
Appliances to PWDs at East Sikkim through Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation of India.

21. Procurement of Mobile Medical Van in Mewat, Haryana an Aspirational District through NGO-
MASS

Under the broad theme of “Healthcare”, IRCTC financially supported Matrix Society for Social
Services (MASS)” for procurement of Mobile Medical Van in Mewat, Haryana an Aspirational District.

22. Procurement of medical equipments at Lucknow Cantonment Board, Hospital through Lucknow
cantonment Board.

Under the broad theme of “Healthcare”, IRCTC financially supported LucknowCantonment Board for
procurement of medical equipments for Lucknow Cantonment Board, Hospital.

23. Construction of 500 Bed Eye Hospital cum Centre of Excellence (COE) at Mastichak, Saran
District, Bihar though NGO-Yugrishi Shriram Sharma Acharya charitable Trust.

Under the broad theme of “Healthcare”, IRCTC financially supported Yugrishi Shriram Sharma
Acharya charitable Trust for construction of building a 500 Bed Eye Hospital cum Centre of Excellence
(COE) at Mastichak, Saran District, Bihar.
24. Construction of Girls students Hostel at Changa Gondoh Bhlessa in Doda District, J&K
through N G O - Sewa Bharti, Jammu & Kashmir”.

25. Installation of 80 SolarLights (Dual) at Eastern Champaran, Motihari, Bihar through NGO-
Kaushalya Foundation.
26. Installation of Smart classrooms solution for improved learning outcomes and quality education at
government schools, Siddhartha Nagar UP (Aspirational District) through EDCIL.

27. Establishment of fabricated rooms as accommodation for patients undergoing treatment of cancer
and other life-threatening diseases though fabrication and customization of Porta containers by
NGO-Ashoka Mission.

28. Procurement of Vehicle with hydraulic lift for easy lifting and transportation of injured and sick
cattle at Gaushala at Goa through NGO-Shankhavalio Teerthkshetra Gaushala Trust.

29. Establishment of Chelation Pump, Library cum Thalassemia Wellness Centre in District Washim
at Maharashtra (Aspirational District) through NGO-The Wishing Factory.

Under the broad theme of “Healthcare”, IRCTC financially supported for establishing of Chelation
Pump Library cum Thalassemia Wellness Centre in Washim,Maharashtra though NGO-The Wishing
Factory.

30. Installation of Smart Vending Machine for Sanitary Pad along with distribution of 1.50 Lakhs
charcoal cotton based sanitary pads in 20 schools at Parasia Tiwari Block, Deoria, Uttar Pradesh
through NGO-Uttahanam Foundations.
31. Allotment of CSR funds towards Swatch Bharat Activities: IRCTC contributed ₹1 Cr.
towards “Swachh Bharat Kosh” for various Swachh Bharat Activities of the Government of India.

32. Allotment of CSR funds towards PM CARES Fund: IRCTC also contributed ₹1.5 Cr. towards
Prime Minister’s Citizen Assistance and Relief in Emergency Situations Fund’

33. Allotment of CSR funds towards Clean Ganga Fund: IRCTC also contributed ₹1.95 Cr.
Towards Clean Ganga Funda for various Clean Ganga activities of government of India.
