"Midnight Sun" directed by Scott Speer, is a touching film that explores the

challenges of life and love. These are the characters of this movie; Bella
Thorne as Katie Price (Main character), Patrick Schwarzenegger as Charlie
Reed (Katie’s love interest/ summer romance), Rob Riggle as Jack Price
(Katie’s father), Quinn Shephard as Morgan (Katie’s Best friend), and Ken
Tremblett as Theresa (Katie’s mother). This drama makes me emotional as it
tells the story of Katie, a young woman with a rare condition that makes her
sensitive to sunlight, and her summer romance with Charlie. But, despite her
condition, she still dreams big.

Katie usually plays a guitar at night; it is to make her calm and to be still feel
like she was normal. I’m admiring her because she really tries to find
happiness even though she is sick. When she meets Charlie (her longtime
crush), her life takes turn, she’s experiencing like a normal girl. I was so happy
that time because finally she can experience how it feels to be a normal girl,
but sad as well because I know it won’t be forever. The moment of this movie
that gave me the most worry and nervous was when Kattie and Charlie were
having a good time in the beach, and Kattie was catching up with sunset
because she didn't notice that it was already 4:50 am. At that moment, I felt
both sad and sorry for Charlie since he was unaware of what was happening.
However, good thing that Charlie quickly drove his car and Katie made it to
her house. It was a relief. In the end, I have a mixed emotion. I was happy
because they let Katie experience the sunlight once, before she died. And sad
at the same time because they don’t have a happy ending, Katie died. This
movie "Midnight Sun" is all about how people stay strong when things get
tough. It makes me think about how I deal with problems and whether I let
them control my life.

"Midnight Sun" is not just a love story; it's a movie that tells us to enjoy life,
cherish every moment, and hold onto love, even when things are tough. It
made me realize that I am lucky because I can play and go outside, I am lucky
because I can witness the beauty of sunset, and yet I’m questioning my life. I
should be happy and contented of what I have and what I am right now,
because others may dream to be in my place. It was indeed a touching story,
it also makes me think about how fragile life is and how it's important to follow
our dreams and love with all our hearts, even when things are hard.
