TWIN SCREW ELEMENTS
Our Segmented Screw design is built on a modular system to get the
advantages of different configurations in process section that allow
the best combination for every application. Screw is made fro m
special type steel material (HCHC) and through hardening to solve
wear and abrasion problems. T he life of these modular screws is
several times higher than ordinary Materials. Screw elements are
mounting on a shaft with spline. We preferred 2 &3lobe screw design
for low shear and high output compounding. Screw segment are
wiping, mixing, conveying and kneading type are provide Unity
Engineer's screw and kneading elements ensure that extruder runs
with minimum downtime.
TWIN BARREL BLOCKS
• Barrel segments are from rectangular shaped, Barrel is made from
alloy steel body and sleeved with HCHCr hardened with fully
vacuum hardned and precisely honed to fine inner surface. The
character 8 shaped barrel bore provide helical material transport
and continuous material transfer so we can g et higher output from
our intermeshing Co-Rotating twin screw extruder. Water circulation
system is provided with every modular of barrel. Each barrel sector
has housing for the probe for the working temperature control and
measurement.
TWIN EXTRUDER GEARBOX
• Gear Box
• The gearbox is specially designed by us for intermeshing, co-
rotating twin screw extruder. The gearbox is design and
manufacture by us. The gearbox is divided in to three parts due to
get good accuracy and long life features. Our bearing selection
increases the life of gearbox. Shaft, gear and bearing s are
assembled in each zone of gearbox. The gearbox is cooled and
lubricated by a motor and oil p ump with heat exchanger is also
providing for cooling of oil. Gear box in connected with the motor
with variable drives.

have the unique distinction of being the

applications are extensive and include
the following industries: Plastic (Rigid,
Plasticized PVC Dry Blends), Ceramics,
Chemicals, Dyes and Colours, Food Stuff,
Pharmaceuticals etc. The mixing
container is made of stainless steel. Its
interior has industrial mirror finish. It is
jacketed for additional heating or cooling
by means of heat transfer oil, steam or
water as required. By utilization of
frictional heat the material may be
sintered, agglomerated, dried vented,
slightly gelled or hot coloured.

Features:
• 1. This strong power plastic sheet crusher adopts slice blade rotor.
The strength of the cutters is light and the current fluctuations of
the working motor is small.
• 2. It adopts chrome steel cutters. The gap between the cutters can
be regulated. The blunt cutters could be recycled after the cutters
grinded.
• 3.Plastic sheet grinder is precision machined with tiny scale error
which is only 0~0.02mm.
• 4. The machine base of plastic sheet crushing machine is wielded
with A3 steel which is durable and harder to be fractured.
• 5.Plastic sheet grinding machine can be easily
disassembled. It's convenient to exchange color
masterbatch and raw material, and clean the equipment.
• 6.Slice blade type strong power crusher has the double-
level structure and acoustic materials. The idle noise is
smaller than 80dB.

protection systems like motor overload protection system

Remarks:
Please select the suitable standard voltage according to different national voltage requirements of
different countries.
The standard material of the cutter is 9SiCr (alloy tool steel). Cr12MoV, SKD-11 can be selected.
Customers can order nonstandard equipment such as mute type crusher, automatic feed and roller type
crusher, typically used for broken plates type crushers and food/medicine grade crushers.
Plastic sheet grinder can be equipped with automatic feeding devices, crush automatic recovery devices,
metal detectors and so on.

Configurations:
1. Electromechanical part: Dongguan Electro-Mechanic (YE3 the secondary energy
consumption), Schneider and Zhengtai Electic (Assigned brand's devices can be installed).
2. Different materials of the cutters should be selected according to different materials
which will be crushed: 9SiCr (alloy tool steel), Cr12MoV, SKD-11.
3. The materials of the screen mesh: high quality carbon steel plates whose thickness is
5mm (aperture Ø4-12mm). Stainless steel screen can also be selected.

The side feeder is mostly used to add powders. UNITY ENGINEERS can ofFer the right
side feeder for every application and all extruder sizes. The LSB XX series convinces
through the high OD/ID ratio (2.0) of the screws and can also convey materials with
very low bulk densities.
