Dog mop

Tristan Tooze
Tired of cleaning up after your family? The dog mop is quick and easy to install and will leave
your floors looking spotless. The following covers how to install a dog mop onto your dog. The
procedure will involve removing the mop handle attached to the mop, affixing the mop to the end
of two leashes, and attaching them to a harness. This invention will remove the need for you to
clean your own floors, as the dog mop will pick up dust and dirt off the floor as it trails behind
your dog while they walk around the house.

You will need:

- Harness that fits your dog
- 2 leashes of equal length
- Large dust mop with a removable handle Figure 1 - Finished Result
- Screwdriver that fits screw connecting mop to
mop handle

Steps:
1. Remove mop from mop handle by removing screw attaching
them together.
Note: Your mop handle must be removable otherwise this will
not work.
2. Put screw back into hole on mop and loop leashes around the
screw.
3. Tighten the screw.
4. Tug on the leash to ensure that the leashes are attached properly.
5. Affix harness on dog.

6. Clip leashes to each side of harness.
Note: Ensure that the leashes are equal and appropriate length.
7. If leashes are too long, repeat the process and fold over or cut leashes until perfect length
is achieved.

Caution:
Be careful while cutting leashes. Using cutting tool improperly may lead to injury.

8. Test the effectiveness of your mop by getting your dog to walk around the house.
Now your floors will clean themselves! Be sure to clean the mop regularly and periodically
inspect the fit and security of your dog mop.
