1 Learning Mode
One selecting the learning mode, the user will be able to see two more selection tiles, and will has the option to choose the
scenario he/she willing to learn or experience, following will be the independent scenarios with depiction of it as follow:

1. Components of EOT Cranes

2. EOT cranes and its type
3. Hazards related to EOT cranes

4. General Safety requirement for EOT cranes

On selecting the above, the one of the scenarios, the user will start within the modules where he/she will be landing in the
environment and further instructions will be provided to the user.

Let’s start with the scenario 1, where the user will select the option of types of EOT Cranes, where he will be judged on the
basis of his selection parameters on the intuitive user interface and screens.

1.1.1 Scene 1: Components of EOT cranes

The user will be in the environment, and all types of EOT cranes will be present in the front of him with all the components
present in the EOT cranes.

The names of the components viz., bridge, hoists, controls etc. will consist of “i” button which shall provide the necessary
information about the material from which this component is made and the use of the component as shown in the below

1.1.2 Scene 2: EOT cranes and its type

What: Introduction on EOT Cranes

Main step 1: Acknowledgement of the EOT crane definition

Introduction: The user will be in the environment in front of a EOT Cranes where they will be explained about EOT Crane

How: the user will be acknowledging the UI with the help of the controllers.

Information / Popup to be displayed:

Electric Overhead Traveling (EOT) cranes play a pivotal role in the material handling sector across various industries. Their
design incorporates a bridge structure supported by parallel runways, with a traveling trolley facilitating horizontal
movement. The hoist, mounted on the trolley, enables lifting and lowering of loads. Due to their versatility and capacity to
handle heavy loads, EOT cranes are commonly employed in manufacturing plants, warehouses, and construction sites.

Main step 2: Types of EOT cranes

Introduction: The user will be in a warehouse where the user will see the Double girder EOT crane.

How: The user will be gazing to the crane.

Information / Popup to be displayed:

EOT cranes come in various types, each tailored to specific applications and load capacities.

1. Single Girder EOT Crane

2. Double Girder EOT Crane

3. Underslung EOT Crane

4. Box Girder EOT Crane

5. Magnetic EOT Crane

Sub- step 1: Not all the listed above cranes will be present in one warehouse, he/she can switch to different locations
to see each listed EOT cranes.

Introduction: In this warehouse user will see Double girder EOT crane. How: The

user will acknowledge on the UI

Information / Popup to be displayed:

A Double Girder Electric Overhead Traveling (EOT) Crane is characterized by having two parallel bridge girders that
support the hoist and trolley. This design enhances the crane's stability and lifting capacity, making it suitable for handling
heavier loads.

Sub-step 2: If the user satisfied with Double girder crane can switch to different location to see other cranes. Introduction:

The user will select yes on the UI to confirm that he is satisfied and want to see other cranes.

How: The user will acknowledge on the UI

Information / Popup to be displayed:

Other EOT cranes are also used for material lifting and are used in different locations as per their needs and load capacities.

1.1.3 Scene 3: Hazards related to EOT cranes

What: EOT cranes like any heavy machinery pose various hazards.

Main Step 1: Overloading

Introduction: User will see an EOT crane in which the hoist is over loaded. How:

the user will be acknowledging the UI with the help of the controllers.

Information / Popup to be displayed:

Operating the crane beyond its specified capacity can lead to structural failure and accidents.

Main Step 2: Electrical Hazards

Introduction: User will see wires spread over the girder.

How: the user will be acknowledging the UI with the help of the controllers.

Information / Popup to be displayed:

Since EOT cranes are powered by electricity, there's a risk of electric shocks or short circuits.

Main Step 3: Falling Objects

Introduction: User will see that there is suspended load on the crane. How: the

user will be acknowledging the UI with the help of the controllers. Information /

Popup to be displayed:

Materials being lifted by the crane can fall, posing a danger to workers below.

Main Step 4: Entanglement Risks

Introduction: User will experience the potential dangers of getting entangled in cables, ropes or other moving parts of the
crane.

How: the user will be acknowledging the UI with the help of the controllers.

Page 4
Information / Popup to be displayed:

Workers can get entangled in cables, ropes, or other moving parts if proper precautions are not taken.

Main Step 5: Mechanical Failures

Introduction: User will experience scenario of mechanical component failure, including visual and auditory cues, such as
realistic sounds of malfunctioning parts or visual indicators of mechanical stress.

How: the user will be acknowledging the UI with the help of the controllers.

Information / Popup to be displayed:

Malfunctions or failures in the crane's mechanical components can lead to accidents.
