Graffiti is one of the few tools you have


Imagine a city where graffiti wasn’t illegal, a city where if you have almost nothing.
everybody could draw whatever they liked. Where every
street was awash with a million colours and little phrases.
Where standing at a bus stop was never boring. A city that
felt like a party where everyone was invited, not just the
estate agents and barons of big business. People say graffiti is ugly, irresponsible and
childish … but that’s only if it’s done properly.

a Imagine you are on a committee to select murals for buildings in your local district. Look at the pictures of six different
murals. Choose a mural (A–F) for each building (1–3) and give reasons for your three choices.
