Lenten Prayer of St. Ephrem:

O LORD AND MASTER OF MY LIFE, TAKE FROM

ME THE SPIRIT OF SLOTH, DESPAIR, LUST OF
POWER, AND IDLE TALK.
BUT GIVE RATHER THE SPIRIT OF CHASTITY,
HUMILITY, PATIENCE, AND LOVE TO THY
SERVANT.
YEA, O LORD AND KING, GRANT ME TO SEE MY
OWN TRANSGRESSIONS, AND NOT TO JUDGE
MY BROTHER, FOR BLESSED ART THOU, UNTO
AGES OF AGES. AMEN.
ORTHODOX CHRISTIANS are reminded to come to
the Sacrament of Penance during the season of Great
Lent. It is important that we as Orthodox Christians
are reminded to adhere to the regulations of the
Orthodox Church to come and confess our sins!
FEAST DAYS IN APRIL:
SUNDAY, APRIL 7th: Feast of The Annunciation of the
Holy Theotokos - Divine Liturgy at 10 AM.
SUNDAY, APRIL 28th: Palm Sunday – The Entrance of
the Lord into Jerusalem – Divine Liturgy at 10 AM.
BLESSING OF EASTER BASKETS!
We will again Bless Pascha Baskets on Saturday, May
4th, at 5 PM on the church grounds. Please be mindful of
your fellow Orthodox Christians and adhere to the set
up of tables! Paschal Baskets will also be blessed after
the Resurrection Services and again after the Divine
Liturgy on Pascha.
PASCHA FLOWERS: We are still collecting needed
funds to purchase flowers to beautify our church on the
feast of Pascha. Each year the cost of these flowers
increase substantially! If you can help in this matter
please see Matushka Ludmila at the candle desk to
make your donation.
SPECIAL THANK YOU to all of our benefactors who,
when called upon, answer our plea for donations to
keep our church moving forward! We are grateful for
your kindness and greatly appreciate everything you do
to support us faithfully. We extend our Blessings to You
and call upon Our Lord to Grant you Peace, Health,
and Prosperity for Many Blessed Years!
