The Kamea of Babalon
The Kamea of Babalon is a 27×27 magical square based on the relationships of the 729
Ditrunes of Thelemic QBLH. The pattern used for the Kamea is based on the line qualities of the
triunes, and in this sense, does not follow the traditional rules of magic squares based on
decimal numbers, and decimal‐wise, only employs 0 – 8, not 1 – 9. It will be discovered that
this pattern also relates to the 9 Primal Ditrunal Families. Appended to this is an appendix
defining the terms used in this paper.
It is seen that 0 is the central point of the pattern, and that it is surrounded by 8 triunes of
opposing line quality. This fractal‐like pattern forms the basis of the entire Kamea, and all
operations are derived therefrom. The Kamea is not a magic square decimal‐wise. It is based
on
the use of ternary numbers and line qualities. It does, however, exhibit some of the qualities of
such a magic square and is called a semi‐magic square. The use of the 3‐base numbering system
to represent Triunes calls for different rules. It is not based on numerical quanta, but on the
quality a number exhibits through its Triune equivalent. Decimal numbers can be used, and I
use both ternary and decimal numbers to explain the Kamea.
Structure
The Kamea is composed of 729 "squares" or individual units. The number 729 is 272, thus
enabling us to use this most understanding of numbers as an instrument to discover the inner
structure of this Kamea.
The Kamea itself divides itself into 3 natural divisions. The first division is that of 9 9×9
"squares" of 81 individual numbers. Each of these 9×9 sections are further composed of 9 3×3
"squares" of 9 individual numbers. The third division is the individual squares themselves, the
basic building blocks of the Kamea. I refer to the first division as Regional, the second division
as Sector(s) within the region, and the third division as Abodes. This is just a general reference
for these divisions. You will discover there are several approaches to looking at the Kamea, and
some require their own individual way to reference the Kamea.
The Mathematics of the Kamea
The Kamea is a Magic Square constructed on the structure of the Ditrunes, and their
relationship with one another. It is based on the qualities of the stria that is the fundamental
to their mutations. As such, all the relationships can be examined according to either the
ternary or decimal number systems. I will use both to explain these ideas. We must remember
that the number line and numbers themselves are something that is fluid and dynamic. There
are different approaches and ways in which we can see numbers. The idea here is that we are
formulating models based on the mutation of quality, “this” reflected in “that”. We are using
the Concourse of Forces to explain these models.
In Thelema, we explain the phenomenal world as an illusion of duality, using the equation of
0=2. The Naught becoming ALL. The 0 in this sense represents the potential of becoming, the Pyx
quality. The 2 represents the interplay of forces that represent what a thing will become, in an
abstract sense. The 2 of the equation represents the Nexus and Vertex qualities. Thus, we have
the Tao symbol, the interplay of the cosmic forces represented by the Yin and the Yang. Yet this
all happens, from a Qabalistic point of view, above the Abyss, in the world of the Unmanifest.
Yet on this side of the Abyss, the worlds of manifestation, the equation 0=2 applies when we
are looking “up” the Tree. 0 is the dissolution of Hadit and Nuit. The 0 is 2, this equation defines
their interplay. ?!?!?!?!...ad infinitum.
I think a thing that is often overlooked is that the Tree of Life is structurally explained as a
metaphorical tree. The roots of the Tree (0=2) are in AIN SOPH, the supernal triad is the seeds
of this tree, the potential of what it may or may not be. This potential of Becoming is then
represented by a new equation, an equation that represents the interplay of the 3 forces.
Simply put 1=3. Unity (0=2) expressed through the interplay of 3 different forces. Hermetically
speaking, the All is represented by the equation 0=2, while the “all in ALL” is represented by
the equation 1=3.
In Thelemic Cosmology then, Horus is represented by 3 different God Forms. To quote Liber
L vel Legis:
The half of the word of Heru-ra-ha, called Hoor-pa-kraat and Ra-Hoor-Khut.
These forces are further represented in Liber L vel Legis in another verse:
Lurk! Withdraw! Upon them! this is the Law of the Battle of Conquest: thus shall my worship be
about my secret house.
Lurk, withdraw, and upon them perfectly expresses these 3 forces. Lurk! is the place of
stillness, neither withdraw nor upon them. It is the potential for either. It is represented by
Heru‐ra‐ha and Pyx. Withdraw! is the practice of Nu in action, surrender and an in‐gathering,
the Yin force. It is Hoor‐pa‐Kraat and Nexus. Upon them! is the practice of Had in action, to
conquer and an out‐pouring, the Yang force. It is Ra‐Hoor‐Khut and Vertex. Note that each of
these forces is followed by an exclamation mark. This represents action.
The verse says that these two are ‘half the word”. The other half is concealed within him,
represented by the equation 0=2, just as him, as the visible object of worship, is represented
by the equation 1=3.
Now that we understand Triunes to be an interplay of these forces, it must be remembered
that this Kamea represents 1 Kamea in an infinite series of them and is the interplay of the first
729 mutations. Any kamea based on the even powers of 3 can be used to represent this inter‐
play. The next in this series would be an 81 x 81 square. Though if we keep with the idea of
being able to divide these into triunes, we would have to use 312 to make a square of it, which
would give us a 729 x 729 square. The odd powers of 3 are used to show these relationships in
a 3‐dimensional format. The further you go, the more complex the relationships.
The decimal version of the kamea is as follows:
The Grand Total of the Kamea is 265356. The rows and columns each total 9828. 9828 x 27
= 265356. In 3‐Base notation, 9828 = 111 111 000. 265356 = 111 111 000 000. Both
numbers share a common Reune: 111 111, or 364. (9828 = 27 x 364 & 265356 = 729 x 364).
Looking at the Kamea, we have 9 Regions and 81 Districts. The sum of the Districts forms the
following diagram:
We start in the middle at 2196, and following the fractal progression, it will be seen that
each abode is 27 greater than the previous. Each row and column totals 29484. This number is
a key to this diagram, as we can derive this total in other ways, noting that it is also the total
for Region 4. 2196 written in 3‐Base is 010 000 100. As we progress from 2196 to 4356 (the last
number of this series), we will find that middle Triune in each of the numbers progresses by 1
unit. 2223 = 010 001 100, 2250 = 010 002 100, and so forth. Also, the uppermost Triune
will either be 010, 011, or 012. Within the regions themselves, the 0, 1 & 2 Sectors it will
always be 010; The 3, 4, & 5 Sectors it will always be 011; and the 6, 7, & 8 Sectors will always
have 012 in its upper Triune position.

Each of these Ditrunes has a Reune reflected downward into the first 729 Ditrunes. The
diagram created by this is called “The Star‐Mirror of Nothing”. The gematria of this phrase
equals 244, the value of the center‐most cell. The word Nothing equals 81, and there are 81
cells in the mirror. The phrase ‘The Star‐Mirror’ = 141, the same numeration as the
following three phrases from Liber L: ‘the word of the Law’, ‘the word of Sin’ and ‘secret centre’.
Both ‘the Law’ and ‘Sin’ = 39, the reverse of 93. Is is also 3 x 13, the trigram e. I know that
the Prophet saw this as a reference to the concept of sin in a theological sense, but what I offer
here is a new interpretation of this word. Note that it is capitalized, and thus, a name. Sin is the
moon god of the Babylonians, perhaps one of the most revered. I would suggest that you to do
your own research on this great deity and the correspondences should be apparent to the
adept student. In Triunes, his name is spelled as sin, which astrologically (something he
ruled) is SIN. If we convert this to the Hebrew equivalent for the astrological signs, we get
Nun and Vau, or 56. (i has no astrological attributions, but in this case is considered the Axis
of the 2 signs). Sin was the Keeper of Time, and as such, He is the restriction that time
represents. Had is the manifestation of Nuit; to have something manifest, there must be
restriction. As if to confirm this, the value of the first verse of Liber L is 283, the 61st prime.
As Sin is the god of the Moon, the Kamea of Luna must be considered, a Kamea that
contains 81 squares, thus bearing upon our present discussion. If we consider the number of
individual lines that make up the individual Triunes in Liber Trigrammaton, we have 3 x 27, or
81 lines. R. Leo Gillis, in his book, “The Book of Mutations "(pg.142), has written about this at
length; the following is a summary of this information.
By following the order of individual lines according to the sequence of this Kamea, we form
the following table:

Each row makes 93, as well as each 3x3 group of cells. Using the rules of Kameas, when we
reverse this table, we end up with the following table:

It will be seen that each row, as well as each 3x3 group of cells produces 141, which equals
The Star‐Mirror. Note that the Reune of 141 is 183, the sum of Liber L’s non‐English content.
Further, 141 = 47 x 3. 47 = 0ne. Thus 3 ones, being 3 Vertex Stria, bringing us back to the e
Triune.
Returning to the Star‐Mirror of Nothing, the decimal equivalent to this is tabled as follows:

The central square is 244, which is 61 x 4 and the gematria sum of the phrase ‘The Star‐
Mirror of Nothing”. The total sum of this table is 29484. Its rows and columns equal 3276.
Further, these numbers are specific to certain Orders found within the 9 Prime Ditrunal
Families. The blue squares represent all Temple numbers within the 4th Order of Temple
Numbers. The orange squares are the 4th rank of Disciple Numbers. 364 is colored green, as it
is the 4th Hierarch, and is the secret ruler of the 4th Rank and 4th Order. 364 is an important
number to this Art. It is the number of Conrune Pairs and the Sun doubled (Terrenic Sol/Empyric
Sol).
We can take this table and refine it even more by combining the 81 Districts into their Region
totals. The decimal version is:

Of course, this table sums to the grand total of the Kamea: 265356. Each row and column
88452. 88462 x 3= 265356. The same operation as above can also be repeated with this table
using the 3‐base numbers. Thus, the whole of the Kamea can be distilled into 1 9x9 table, and
is as follows:

If we take this table and its numbers, and transmute it into the Saturn Magical Square, we
create the Table of Nine. The gematria of the phrase, “The Table of Nine” equals 156, the
number of Our Lady of the Waratah‐Blossoms. The word nine equals 61, the 18th Prime number;
the 18th Triune in the Liber Trigrammaton order is m. This triune equals 21, and 21 x 156 =
3276, the table's sum. 61 is also the gematria for the Hebrew word “AIN”, Nothing. This table
appears as follows:
The Magic number of the table is 1092, which is the Conrune Sum of all absolute Planetary
Ditrunes. The sum of this table is 3276, the row/column total for the Star‐Mirror of Nothing.
364, as will be explained below, is a Hierophant Number, and in this table, He is surrounded by
eight 5th Order Temple Numbers.
Within this table can be found aspects of an important verse in Liber L vel Legis.
 2:15 –
For I am perfect, being Not; and my number is nine by the fools; but with the just
I am eight, and one in eight: Which is vital, for I am none indeed. The Empress and
the King are not of me; for there is a further secret.
Relating the gematria of this verse, and indeed, this verse itself, we can understand this
table. The total of this verse is 1952, which is 8 x 244, the central number of the Star‐Mirror of
Nothing. The prime factorization of this number is 25 x 61. Hadit says, “with the just I am eight,
and one in eight.” He is the 364 surrounded by 8. Each pair of opposites on the table sums 728,
the Conrune of 364, making Him none. 364 = the great mystery of the house of god.
There is an archaic etymology for the word ‘none’ that is applicable to its use in this sentence,
as normally, it is an indefinite pronoun. It was used as a reference to the noon hour,
coming from the Latin ‘nona’. This means ninth. Within this we find confirmation of Hadit as
‘nine by the fools’, and as the Sun, attributed to the e triune.
When we combine Hadit, as the center, with each of his 8, we get the following result:

Each of the opposites sum 1456, while the table sums 5824. 5824 = 56 x 104. 56 is the number
of the word of Nuit, and 104 is the letter‐name value of Tzaddi. The sum of the opposites, 1456,
is 26 x 56 & 14 x 104. 26 + 14 = 40, which is Hadit. 56 + 104 = 160. Since 160 is 4 x 40, we have
his unity within the 8 squares that surround him. Note 14 & 56 make the digits of this number.
Another way of saying this is none. None = 71, the 20th prime number. 20 x 8 = 160. Hadit as
‘none’ within the 8 squares. Another mention of 56 can also be taken from the word vital. When
we use the English‐Hebrew transliteration of this word and sum it, we get 56.
The 9 Ditrunal Families and the Kamea
The structure of the Kamea is based on the Nuclear Mutations of the Ditrunes. The method
of nucleation is the same as found in I‐Ching, where lines are extracted from a ditrune to form
a new one. Lines 2,3 & 4 are used to form the Terrenic aspect of the new Ditrune, while lines 3,
4, & 5 are used to form the Empyric aspect of the new Ditrune. Thus, one Ditrune is mutated
into another from the nucleus of the initial one. This methodology naturally forms the entire
set into 9 families and is referred to as the 9 Prime Ditrunal Families. Each of the families is
located on the Kamea within its own 9 x 9 Region.
Each family contains 81 Ditrunes. The process of mutation reveals that all Ditrunes within a
family mutate to 1 base Ditrune. This is the Prime Ditrune of the family and is called the
Hierophant. The next process of mutation reveals 8 Ditrunes that are secondary to the Prime
Ditrune and are referred to as Disciple Ditrunes. The last process of mutation reveals the
remaining 72 Ditrunes and are referred to as Temple Ditrunes. Thus, for each of the Prime
Families, you have 1 Hierophant, 8 Disciples, and 72 Temples.
What is unique about this is that each of the Hierophants is a multiple of 91, besides the 0
Ditrune. A section will be appended to this essay dealing with these 9 Families, detailed on what
is called the Hierophant Tables. When we apply this structure to the Kamea, we have the
following result:
The Hierophant Triunes are red, the Disciple Ditrunes are blue, and the Temple Ditrunes are
yellow. Each of the 91 multiples are in its proper region according to its multiplier. With each of
the Hierophants are his Disciples.
For the Hierophants 0, 364, and 728, the Disciples are shown in their corresponding positions
according to the placement of the Temples. Region 0 would be:
The Hierophant 0 is surrounded by his 8 Disciples. Each Disciple’s placement then

corresponds to the Temples under him. This same principle holds true for the Hierophants and
Disciples in Region 4 and 8.
This method mutates 6 Hierophants. 5 & 7 are considered together, as they are Reversible,
and 1, 2, 3, & 6 are considered together, as these are a Quadset. Because of their Reversible
nature, the Hierophant numbers 455 & 637 are mutations of each other.
These 2 Ditrunes are in a constant state of mutation, their nucleus becomes
the unfoldment of the other. Because of this, the Disciple and Temple
numbers that mutate into this are classified according to the first one it
mutates into. To further exemplify this, the Disciples of one are found in the
Hierophant Square of the other.
The Disciple numbers of 455 are 150, 151, 152, 393, 394, 395, 636, & 638.
The Disciple numbers of 637 are 210, 211, 212, 453, 454, 696, 697, & 698.
The Disciple numbers of 455 are found surrounding 637, and visa versa. The following diagram
shows this relationship.
This very same mutation from 1 Hierophant into another, as if vibrating back and forth, and
what happens with the Disciple numbers, also happens with 91 & 273 and 182 & 546.
 All the Hierophants sum 3276.

 All the Temples sum 235872
3276 x 8 = 26208 & 26208 x 9 = 235872. This reflects the family structure of 1 Hierophant, 8
Disciples, and 9 Temples per Disciple.
Within the Prime Ditrunal Family can be found a Threefold Hierarchy. This classification is
similar in nature to the classification system of the traditional Trigrams of the Taoist. The
following diagram shows the relationship between the 9 Prime Ditrunes.
This will be further examined in the appendix on the 9 Primal Ditrunal families. Numerically,
the Vertex portion sums 1183, while the Nexus portion sums 1365.
1183 = 13 x 91
1365 = 13 x 105
This is an important Gematria Mystery. 91 + 105 = 196. 196 is 142, as 105 – 91 = 14.
Another special property of 196 is that a palindrome has not been found for it. It was tested to
278,837,830 iterations, and still not one. It is the first in a series of such numbers. The name
“the Genitor‐Genetrix” sums 196. This perfectly sums the names used for the pure Nexus and
pure Vertex Ditrunes. The Conrune of 196 is 140, and this is the value of “upper heaven” and
“infinite Stars”, and 93 spelled out as ninety‐three. This is an apt description for where the
Prime Ditrunes ‘exist’. The distance between them is 56, the word of Nuit.
Each of the Hierophants along with his disciples, forms a 3 x 3 table, to which is added the
72 Temple numbers, giving each Family its own 9 x 9 table. These tables are referred to as the
Hierophantic Tables and will be appended.
The next level of the Threefold hierarchy exists within the Disciple Numbers. For any given
Hierophant, there are 8 Disciples. The Gematria of the word Hierophant is 85, while the value
of Disciple is 58, thus having a palindromic relationship. This perfectly reflects the relationship
of the Hierophant and his Disciple. The palindromic number of 58 & 85 is 484, which says “He
must teach but he may make severe the ordeals”.
The ‘one in eight’ concept is also reflected here, as we have 9, yet this 9 is one (the center)
in eight (the 8 that surrounds 1). This may be argued, but the word ‘in’ in(sic) this case, is a
preposition, which means to be enclosed or surrounded by. The Hierophant (1) surrounded by
his Disciples (8). This is also shown gematrically as 85 + 58 x 8 = 549. 549 = 9 x 61, the word nine
= 61.
This leads us to the Temple Numbers, of which there are 9 per Disciple, totaling 648 Ditrunes
altogether. This is where the current or teachings of the Hierophant are taught and declared by
the Disciples. To confirm this, the total of all Temple Numbers is 23587/72( the total number of
Disciples) = 3276, the sum of all Hierophant numbers and the square sum of the Star‐Mirror of
Nothing. The word Temple equals 61, confirming them as 9 in number.
Quadsets and the Kamea

One of the most intrinsic
Mysteries of the Kamea
is the relational patterns
of the Quadsets as they
appear on the Kamea.
Each Ditrune on the
Kamea has a rectangular
positional placement to
the other 3 Ditrunes that
compose its Quadset. If
we look at the positional
locations of the Ditrunes on the Kamea, each Quadset forms either a perfect square or
rectangle. The Ditrunes that are diagonal from each other are opposite in line quality and are
always Conrunes. Those that are perpendicular from each other (y‐axis) are always Reunes.
Those that are horizontal with each other (x‐axis) are always Conreunes. For example, the 78th
Quadset, consisting of the Ditrunes 93>186|111>222 would appear as follows using the above
diagram.
As can be seen by this
diagram, the rectangular relation‐
ship of the Ditrunes on the Kamea
is fundamental to all the Ditrunic
relationships on the Kamea. All
Quadsets form this rectangle with
varying “dimensions”. It is almost
as if you are pasting the sheets
right to left then top to bottom.
Behold, they dissolve in Naught.
This is possible because of the
nature of the Kamea being
structurally based on the 9 Prime
Ditrunal Families. Quadsets are
formed in 1 of 4 family groupings.
0, 4 & 8, 5 & 7, or 1, 2, 3, & 6. This
also divides the Kamea in to 4
Sections of 13 x 13 Squares, with
the dividing line between them
being formed by the Reflexive
Ditrunes sets.

This is the same diagram used below in determining Kamea Locations. The red area is con‐
structed purely of Quadsets, while the orange are purely Reflexive sets. This gives us a Grand

Kamea Location
On the Kamea, there are 2 ways in which to reference a cell's location. The first method is
looking at the Kamea as a grid. 0 represents the origin point, while the x and y axis are the 2
lines of cells projecting horizontally and vertically from this point. It should be noted that these
two lines of cells are entirely composed of the Reflexive Ditrunes. The Kamea would appear as
follows:
Thus, a Ditrune can be referred to by its XY positional value on the Kamea. For example, the
Ditrune 010110(93) can be located at (‐6, ‐9). The other Ditrunes in the Quadset can be located
by simply manipulating the positive or negative aspects of its positional value.
With this example, the Ditrune 111010, is in Quadset 78: 93>186|111>222. To find the
Conrune of 93, we simply reverse the positive/negative signs of the positional XY value. Thus,
186 would have the positional value of (+6,+9). To find the Reune of 93, 111, we reverse the
positive/negative sign for the Y axis only, being located at (‐6, +9). To find the Conreune of 93,
222, we reverse the positive/negative sign for the X axis only, being located at (+6, ‐9). This
method applies to all Ditrune sets on the Kamea.
To each Quadset is also a complementary set, having the same Quadsum. To find a
Quadsets complementary Quadset, we simply switch around the (X,Y) values, the X value
becomes the Y value, and the Y value becomes the X value of the complementary Quadset.
Using the above Quadset, 78, its complementary Quadset is 61: 105>174|219|114. Its Triunes
will be found at: 105 = (+9,+6), 174 = (‐9,‐6), 219 = (+9,‐6), 114 = (‐9,+6).
(To compare: 186 = (+6,+9), 93 = (‐6,‐9), 222 = (+6,‐9), 111 = (‐6,+9))
Note that this relationship underlies the concept of BiQuadSet. The 2 Quadsets that form
these sets have the same QuadSum. Further, the Conrune Pairs have the same lesser
and greater sum. There is a lot that can be revealed by this concept and it will be
addressed further elsewhere.
For those Ditrunes that form Reflexive Sets, they are graphed according to their X or Y axis
positional value. The Reflexive Set 156>204 has the positional value of (‐6x:+6x).
Taking this one step further, “dimensions” can be given to any Quadset, where the first value
is its distance between Conreunes on the X‐axis and the second value is its distance between
Reunes on the Y‐axis. Quadset 78 has the distance value of 12×18. This gives us a rectangular
value for each of the Quadsets that we can use for calculating other aspects of Quadsets.
The second method of locating Ditrunes on the Kamea is a method called Kamea Notation.
This divides the Kamea into 3 levels and uses the fractal pattern of the Kamea as a basis of
giving each Ditrune a unique address.
Looking at the Kamea as a whole, we have 729 “addresses”. This address is defined in 3 parts
as follows.
• The first number is the Region number (RN). This number addresses the dividing of the
Kamea into 9 sections of 81 addresses.
• The second number is the Sector number (SN). This number addresses the dividing of
the region into 9 sections of 9 addresses each.
• The third number is the Abode number (AN). This is the exact location of the Ditrune
within its Sector.
• Kamea Notation uses the following formula: (RN)(SN)(AN)
To give an example, let us look at the number 104, the letter‐name gematria of the letter
Tzaddi. (Please keep in mind to use the fractal pattern):
• Looking in the Kamea, it will be found in Region 2, making the RN 2
• It is in Sector 4 of the Region, making the SN 4
• In that Sector it is Temple 2, making the TN 2
• Thus, the KL of that number on the Kamea is 242
Please note that Tzaddi is the 242cd letter of 1:57 (CCXX).
Further, the spelling of 93, ninety‐three = 140, the KN of 93.
The Mathematics of Quadsets
Quadsets form one of the underlying foundations of Trigrammic Qabalah. There are many
ways to calculate the numbers forming Quadsets, but only the difference between Conrune
Pairs creates unique values, and this is used to classify Quadsets. There are 3 subsets of Quad‐
sets, of the 182 possible sets.
1. The subset of 13 Foundare Quadsets, which forms the ‘x’, from corner to corner. All
Foundare Quadsets form squares om the Kamea.
2. The subset of 13 Reflexive Quadsets, formed by a Reflexive Pair and its complement.
These form the XY axis of the system.
3. The subset of 156 Composite Quadsets, which is any Quadset that is neither of the
above two. All Composite Quadsets form rectangles on the Kamea.
The Foundare and Reflexive Quadsets are interrelated with each other. 2 Foundare on the same X or
Y vector will always sum Reflexive Ditrune in the following manner:

The method of the 156 Composite Quadsets is more complicated and is easiest to understand
through the use of QuadSums. This is simply the addition of the 4 Ditrunes that compose the Quadset.
This brings about a natural classification of the Quadsets into 25 different Quadset Groups, each Group
defined by its QuadSum. Further, each QuadSum is composed of 2 Ditrune Pair sums, and though 9
Quadset Groups share the same Quadsum, their Ditrune Pair sums differ. The following table defines

As you can see by this chart, all Quadset Groups are also composed of the same Triune type. These
Triunes can appear in either the Empyric or Terrenic positions. Further, all complementary Quadsets
belong to the same family. A complete list of Quadsets well be appended.
Certain Patterns of the Kamea
As has been diagrammed and hinted at, the Kamea of Babalon forms itself into certain models
and patterns based on the different classifications of the triunes themselves. All 3 types of
Ditrune classification show patterns on the Kamea. I have addressed 2 of the fundamental
patterns of the Kamea of Babalon, the patterns created by the 9 Ditrunal Families and the Quad‐
sets; there only remains one other fundamental pattern to address, and that is the pattern
created by the Ditrune Stria qualities themselves.
As has been discussed, each Ditrune is composed of 6 Stria, each stratum having one of three
qualities: Pyx, Vertex, and Nexus. There are 28 distinct categories of Stria Quality Quanta’s. The
following table diagrams these categories:

The Stria Quality Quanta are categorized according to the number of Pyx lines, and then by
the number of Vertex and Nexus lines, as the Pyx is central to this system. Thus, Pyx divides
itself into 7 categories with a number of subdivisions corresponding to the amount of Pyx Stria
it lacks, from the singular Pure Pyx Ditrune to 7 subdivisions containing no Pyx Stria. This chart
could be rewritten for both Vertex and Nexus with the same results.
It is seen that certain combinations in any order give us the same Group Total. Thus, if we
have the combination of 3,2,1, meaning that we can have 3 Pyx, 2 Vertex, 1 Nexus or 1 Pyx, 3
Vertex, 2 Nexus – or any combination of these Stria Quality as long as there is 3 of one, 2 of
another, and 1 of the last, no matter the order that Pyx, Vertex, and Nexus fall in within the
combination, we end up with the following table:

also reflected on the Kamea. ALL Quadsets have the same Line Stria Quanta. Therefore, any
analysis of this will reveal these patterns on the Kamea.

We have examined the Kamea according to 3 distinct ways of classifying them and have found that
the Kamea has coherent and viable patterns. The Gematria of the phrase “The Kamea of Babalon” equals
193, the Conrune of 143, 13 x 11, and the sum of the digits in the Riddle of 2:76. 193 is also the gematria
of two important phrases in Liber Trigrammaton: ‘the lowest corruption’ and ‘the Stainless Abode”, two
opposing, yet equilibrating ideas. The first phrase is found in the verse that starts out the section
on the 8 Triunes found in the I‐Ching. The last phrase ends this section, and the whole Liber. The total
sum of these triunes is 156, Babalon.
The Linea and

The 8 Wings
4 of the lines on the Kamea can be used to further the understanding of the Kamea and its
dynamic. These are the XY Axis lines used above and formed by the 52 sets of Reflexive
Conrunes. The other 2 lines are the CrossQuarter lines, forming the diagonals from corner to
corner of the Kamea. These are the 52 Fundare Ditrunes.
The CrossQuarter Line having the triple Vertex stria in either its Empyric or Terrenic House is
called the Linea Vertex. The CrossQuarter Line having the triple Nexus stria in either its Empyric
or Terrenic House is called the Linea Nexus. The “X‐Line” is called the Linea Abscissa and the
“Y‐Line” is called the Linea Ordinare.
This diagram shows us these 4 lines. It will be seen that when you form a Ditrune from any
2 congruent corners, the Reflexive Ditrune betwixt them is its Conreune, and its Conrune is
opposite this. The color code used in this diagram is as follows:

The Triunes that compose 2 & 4, 8 & 10, and 6 & 12 are Zodiacally opposite from one an‐
other. Sets 2, 8 and 6 are composed purely of Earth and Air signs, while sets 4, 10, and 12 are
composed of purely Fire and Water signs. 8 and 10 are purely Cardinal signs, while the
remaining are Fixed and Mutable. Each sign is used 6 times.
Each of the totals are multiples of 36 as follows:
2952 = 36 x 82
2520 = 36 x 70
1080 = 36 x 30
The sum of the multipliers is 182, which is the Conrune of 91.
All Zodiacal layers (and Planetary) sum 13104. 13104/36 = 364, which is the total number of
Conrune Pairs. 13104/3276 = 4. This is the number of Planetary Layers.

The sum of 3276 for each layer is the same for summed layers of the Elemental layers. Each
planet is used 6 times. 5 and 11 share 4 planets (Venus, Mars, Juppiter, and Saturn). Layer 7 is
composed strictly of Earth and Mercury and Layer 13 is composed of strictly Sol and Luna.
Further examination of this concept shows us that there are “layer squares” that have at‐
tributes that are a combination of only 2 attributes and the others are a combination of 4 at‐
tributes. Layers that contain only 2 attributes are indicative of Conrune sets that are Reflexive
sets. Those that contain 4 attributes are Quadsets. For the Layers that have the same 2
attributes within that layer, we have the following:

The above dealt with looking at 4 Lineas as a whole, but they can be further understood as
“8“rays” emanating from the center.
These 8 ‘rays’ are tabulated according to the Kamea Region they project through. Lines 5 & 7 and 4 & 8 total
9828, while Lines 1,2,3 & 6 total 9828. These reveals one of the Magic Square rules of the Kamea. The sum of
the 2 diagonal lines always equals the sum of either a column or row. The ternary of 9828 is 111111000, making
its Conrune 222222000, which is 19656. This is the magic sum of the rows and columns of the Kamea. The
following table delineates this relationship:

From these totals can be constructed the Magic Square on the right. The Magic sum of this Square is also
9828. 9828 = 26 x 378. In TQ, the phrase “The unveiling of the company of Heaven” equals 378. Thus, we have
the multiplicity of this unveiling through the mystery of this set of 26 symbols.
These lines can be used as a self‐generated division that divides the Kamea into 8 parts. This is further
evidenced by the fact that the Linea total of 29484 x 8 = 235872, which is the grand total of the Ditrunes in 8
sections. Being that we can now divide the Kamea into 8 sections of 78 Ditrunes apiece, we can enter a whole
new way of thinking about this. Remember that 78 is a triangular number, thus we can formulate the Kamea as
an octahedron, each ‘side’ of the octahedron represented by the relationships between its 78 Ditrunes. The 104
Ditrunes used for the Lineas forms a Black Cross for the octahedron.

Now that numerical considerations have been considered, we shall delve into one of the deeper mysteries
of the Kamea, The Octahedron of Heru‐Ra‐Ha.
The Octahedron of
Heru‐ra‐ha
I chose the name of this octahedron for its gematria and the fact that Heru‐Ra‐Ha is an 8‐fold
name, and the essence of the presiding deity of this Aeon. His name equals 82, the same as ‘the book’,
the pages of which dissolve to naught. The Ditrune for 82 is as follows:
These are 2 Elemental Triunes, the first representing the Vertex Force, the second is the element of Fire. The
bottom equals 1, the top equals 3, thus we have Heru‐Ra‐Ha expressing Himself through the 1=3 formula. Its
Kamea Location is 031, falling into a rare classification of Kamea Locations where the Trines and Locator parts
match. Note it is 31, falling in line with New Aeon Magickal Formula.
Each of the 8 Sections is composed of 78 Ditrunes, 78 being the summation of 12. We can then build a 12‐
layered pyramid based on the Ditrunes. Further, since we have 8 such pyramids, we can assign each pyramid
to a face of the octahedron, creating an octahedron based on relationships found in the Kamea. Each side of
the Kamea would then contain 156 Ditrunes per Quarter of the octahedron. The Quarters would appear as

This is all 4 of the Watchtowers, similar in context to the idea of the Enochian Watchtowers, but truly greater
than what they are. The patterns formed by the Kamea, and transmuted into this form, follow a natural
progression of steps and we end up with a 3‐D model that the old system cannot begin to comprehend. Much
love to Kelly and Dee, they were indeed pioneers, but Enochian is Old Aeon. The manifestation of the New Aeon
brought about the abrogation of these systems. The Prophet gave us keys to use and stated that in Liber
Trigrammaton are the seeds of Theoretical QBLH. This system is a direct expression of the theory of Liber
Trigrammaton and put into practice by the Kamea.
In order for there to be progress, we must push the boundaries of our Art and Science. Old Aeon ideas, though
important, are sometimes counterproductive to this progress. They are counterproductive when we cling to
them and let them blind us to the Light of the New Aeon. They are productive when we allow them to inspire
us and use them as a springboard into the Aeonic Liberty. Horus stands by himself, as a separate individual. Yet
his genetic heritage comes from both Osiris and Isis. Just as well as for many of us stepping into the New Aeon
Formula and coming to it with a foundation of QBLH and other Hermetic Sciences; it is the genetics of our Path.
I am in no way saying that we should ignore or throw aside these Mysteries. Yet I do say they are abrogated,
and as such, we must progress. The Old Aeon Mysteries evolve as we evolve, they are transmuted through
us. The mystery is quite simple‐ we are the Old Aeon becoming the New Aeon. It happens within us.
Understanding this, many of the Old Aeon attributions were based on a 2‐D world view. In moving forward,
the New Aeon Formula will embrace higher dimensional models. The Kamea of Babalon, a 2‐Dimensional grid
now becomes a 3‐Dimensional ideal, the Octahedron of Heru‐Ra‐Ha. Yet this Octahedron serves as a basis for a
spherical model.
The Black Cross now becomes the 8‐Rayed Star of Isis. The Tablet of Union becomes the Cubical Altar of
Osiris. And the Watchtowers become the Nemyss of Horus. These shall be addressed in my next essay, which
will expound taking the theoretical presented here and making it Art and Science.
Principles and Definitions of Trigrammic QBLH
• All Triunes are composed of 3 striae (lines), each striae representing one of 3 qualities:
1. Pyx – the Epicenic force or Neutral force represented by the “dot”. Pyx is a device used by
Catholic priest to carry the consecrated Eucharist to the sick. It means a box or receptacle. It is the
“ALL in all” of the Hermetic principles.
2. Vertex – the Centrifugal force or Masculine (yang) force represented by the “unbroken” line.
Vertex means the highest point or zenith. Its etymology points towards meaning a whirlpool, that which
has motion in dimension. It is also the angular point of any polygonal or polyhedral figure.
3. Nexus – the Centripetal Force or Feminine (yin) force represented by the “broken” line.
Nexus means a binding together of things, a connection of two or more things or a causal link.
• Pyx is neutral, while Nexus and Vertex are contrary to each other. Thus, every triune (except
the triple Pyx triune) has its contrary triune and is called the base triunes Conrune.

All Triunes can also be comprehended as glyphic representations of 3-base numbers. Instead of
using numbers to represent quantity, Triunes, as a 3-base number, use the pyx, vertex, and nexus striae
to represent a qualitative quanta. A basic property of Triunes is their capacity to transform from one
Triune into another Triune, reminiscent of the particles in the science of Quantum Physics. This
transformative quality is exemplified in the above section on Quadsets.
The glyphs used in this way are defined as follows:
Pyx = 0
Vertex = 1
Nexus = 2
Not only does this unfold a totally new form of Literal QBLH, it also gives us mathematical
methods relative to New Aeonic Magickal Formulas. Each Triune can be reformulated as a 3-base
number using this method. Using 0, 1, or 2 is synonymous to using pyx, nexus, or vertex. For example,
the Triune a can be rewritten as 012 or the triune q can be rewritten as 121.
When we look at the Triune as a whole, the 3 individual striae are strata of quality that
references 0, 1 or 2. In converting this to a decimal number, each stratum represents a power of 3.
32=9 Adding these together, we convert this Triune to its decimal equivalent
31=3 of the number 13. All Triunes then be converted to their decimal
equivalents in this fashion. Many times, the decimal number for the
3 =1 Triune will be used instead of its 3-base number for ease of explanation,
0
and most other Gematria systems use decimal numbers.
Ditrunes are the Trigrammic QBLHs equivalent to the Hexagrams of the I-Ching. All the
methodologies that apply to that system are also employed here, except with greater scope and range,
especially as it applies to the Literal Qabalah and its methods. Each Ditrune is composed of 2 Triunes,
one placed on top of the other, giving us a symbol system of 729 Ditrunes. In most instances of the
usage of the word Triune, you could also use the word Ditrune.
As Triunes are also 3-base numbers, the lower Triune, called the Terrenic Triune, is the units
place (the numbers 0-26); the upper Triune, called the Empyric Triune, is like the 10’s place of the
decimal system.
There are 3 types of Ditrunes.

• The 0 Ditrune is not counted among these, as it is beyond type and category.
• Fundare Ditrunes: These are Ditrunes that have the 0 Triune in either the Terrenic or Empyric
positions. All Ditrunes are a product of these Ditrunes.
• Consequent Ditrune: These are Ditrunes that exhibit the same properties of the Reflexive Triune
and have two different expressions. Those that are its own Reune, and those whose Conrune and
Reune are the same.
• Convergent Ditrunes: All other Ditrunes that do not fall into one of the above categories.
In application, we usually only count 728 Ditrunes, which excludes 0. When we are speaking of
Ditrunes as a mathematical set, especially when we use Ditrunes in Magical Squares, we count the 0
Ditrune as part of this set, making it 729. The 0 Ditrune is usually indicative of the origin point in the
various coordinate systems employed in Trigrammic QBLH.
Ditrune Classifications
There is 3 different ways to classify Ditrunes. Each approach represents a different approach to
how to understand Ditrunes and are fundamental to the creation of Qabalistic methodologies used in
creating a New Aeon QBLH.
(1): The 9 Ditrunal Families
The Ditrunal family attribution uses the methodology of Nuclear Mutation as used in I-Ching.
Its primary method is to create a new Ditrune by using lines 2, 3 and 4 as the Terrenic Triune and lines
3, 4 and 5 is the Empyric triune of the newly formed Triune. Thus, mutating the original Ditrune to
form a new Triune using the “inner” elements of that Triune. It is a way of looking into the heart of the
Ditrune, resolving it back into its most inner Ditrune.
When using this process of Nuclear Mutation, all Triunes resolve themselves into 9 basic fami-
lies, contained within each family are 3 levels of enfolding.
1. The Prime Ditrune: This Ditrune represents the innermost or fundamental Ditrune of the Dit-
runal family. All other Ditrunes of the family resolve to this Ditrune.
2. Composite Ditrunes: These Ditrunes represent the second level of mutation.
3. Concurrent Ditrunes: These Ditrunes represent the most outer expression of the Ditrunal family.
As mentioned, there is 9 Families of Ditrunes, and all Ditrunes fall into one of the 3 above listed
categories of mutation. Thus, each family consist of 81 Ditrunes and have the following
1 – Prime Ditrunes
8 – Composite Ditrunes
72 – Concurrent Ditrunes

(2): Sixfold Star Correspondence
The internal structure of the Triunes and how this structure relates to the Sixfold Star naturally
confers itself to planetary, zodiacal, and elemental correspondences. This is dictated by the number of
pyx stria found in each Triune.
There are 3 types of Triunes as follows:
1- 2 Pyx Stria: These Triunes are 6 in number and

are attributed to the Elements. These Triunes are
called Orbital.
2 – 1 Pyx Stria: These Triunes are 12 in number
and are attributed to the 12 Zodiac signs. In
particular, the Triunes that form the outer ring are
called Obtuse Triunes, while those forming the inner
hexagram are called Acute Triunes. Generally, they
are referred to as Zodiacal Triunes.
3 – No Pyx Stria: These are 8 in number and are
attributed to the 8 Planets (Terra is included in this
count). The 6 Triunes forming the projections from
the center are referred to as Radial Triunes, while the
Pure Nexus and Pure Vertex Triunes are referred to as
Central Triunes; included in this is also the Pure Pyx,
or 0, Triune
When working with Ditrunes, each Triune of the Ditrune has a unique correspondence
which we can use as a classification system for them. When we combine these different types, we end
up with 6 Categories of Ditrunes.
1. Orbital/Orbital: There is 36 of the Ditrunes.
2. Elemental/Elemental: There is 64 of these Ditrunes.
3. Zodiacal/Zodiacal: There is 144 of these Ditrunes.
4. Orbital/Elemental: There is 96 of these Ditrunes.
5. Orbital/Zodiacal: There is 144 of these Ditrunes
6. Zodiacal/Elemental: There is 192 of these Ditrunes.
These account for 676 of the 728 Ditrunes. The remaining 52 Ditrunes are the subset of Fundare
Ditrunes.
(3): Stria Quality Quanta
Each Ditrune is composed of 6 lines or Stria, each having its particular quality. The number and
type of these contained in each Ditrune forms a definite pattern which forms the final why to classify
Ditrunes. The following chart is based on the number of each quality of line found within each Dit-
rune:

A note on the use of the word Rune and its prefixes
The word ‘runes’ is used in Liber L in verse 2:27 and is chosen for this reason to use as a reference
to what is normally called a Trigram. Not only is this the 27th verse of this chapter, but it is also 93rd verse
of Liber L. The verse itself equals 1665, which is 3 x 555, 555 being the Hebrew Letter-Name Gematria
of the word Had. This can also be expressed as 27+93 = 120. 120 is 3-base for 15. 1665 = 15 x 111, and
in the above essay, 111 was shown to express Hadit in the Star-Mirror of Hadit. It also provides another
proof of the TQ used in all English Language Gematria used throughout, as 15 = S, which is attributed
to , the Bull, as 111 as the Hebrew letter ALPh is a bull. The ‘S’ in this instance represents the path a
bull takes while plowing a field. The word “runes” equals 91, and the importance of this number has
already been shown. It is one of the foundational numbers of this system. 91 is also the gematria of ‘the
secret’, which can be seen as a reference to the word runes, for within them is the secret.
To abrogate the old terminology used in reference to systems like this, and to create a ‘language’
specific to this system, the word ‘rune’ is used in the sense of secret or mystery, and in no way refers to
the Futhark of the Germanic Rune system. The word ‘triune’ equals 85 or 17 x 5, the 2 letters K and A,
or KA. There is a lot of meaning that can be gotten out of this. ‘The Hermit’ equals 85, and the astrological
sign of the Hermit is Virgo, the same as the letter A in TQ, which is 5. 17 is the letter k, which is used
220 times in Liber L. The letter ‘A’ is capitalized 65 times in Liber L, the number of pages in its hand-
written form. Note, ‘k’ is capitalized 41 times, 41 being the 13th prime (13 x 5 = 65). (The letter k is used
as a lower-case 179 times, and this is the 41st Prime). Thus, the 27 triunes of Liber Trigrammaton lay the
foundation of the Theoretical Qabalah used to decode the mysteries and secrets of this sublime Holy
Book. There are also 17 question marks in Liber L.
• Triune is used to refer to the threefold nature of each rune.
• The prefix ‘con’ was used to represent that one rune cannot exist without its complement. Thus,
the word Conrune is coined to refer to a Triunes complementary Triune.
• The prefix di- in Ditrune just simply refers to the fact it is a doubled Triune.
• The prefix re- in Reune is used to mean that the Ditrunes Stria are repeated, just backward from
the original order. In a sense of ‘looking backwards’ as some roots of this prefix suggest.

Quadset Reference
The following tables are a reference guide to the 169 Quadsets and the Reflexive Sets. The
columns are as follows:
 QS: Quadset number. All Quadsets are ordered according to the unique difference value
of the first Conrune Pair of the Quadset.
 A,B,C & D: This is the decimal for the Ditrunes of the Quadsets, and are colored according
to what Quadrant they are found in, as follows:
1. Blue: (-X,-Y)
2. Orange: (+X,+Y)
3. Green: (-X,+Y)
4. Red: (+X,-Y)
 The Difference and Sums of Pairs in the Quadset. Light Green are Sums, Light Red are
differences.
 KL: The Kamea Location of the individual Ditrunes, color coded as above.
 The Zodiacal degree of the 2 Ditrune Pairs.
 The TriSums of the Quadsets, being its Ditrune Pair sum plus the Reune of the first ditrune
of the Ditrune Pair, calculated as follows:
1. TriSum 1: A+B+C
2. TriSum 2: B+A+D
3. TriSum 3: C+D+A
4. TriSum 4: D+C+B
 The Sum of all TriSums for the Quadset.
 The Dimensions of the Kamea for the Quadset.
 The Ditrunes of the Quadset.
The second set of tables are the Quadsets arranged according to their QuadSums. The
Quadsets complementary Quadset is paired with it.
The final table shows the relationship between Quadsets and the Triune attributes that
compose it.

The Talisman of the Hierophants
The above is a representation of the Hierophant tables formatted as a 27x27 square. It does not have the
same synastry as the Kamea of Babalon. It does, however, display certain properties which I think are of interest.
The Hierophant’s are gold, his Disciples, surrounding him, are blue, and the Temples are light red. Each of the
3x3 of the Temple Numbers is a Magic Square. In the Hierophant’s square, the rows and columns surrounding
the Hierophant sum the same. This table is arranged so that Temples position on the Hierophants square
corresponds to the Temple Numbers it rules in the bigger 9x9 Regional, as the below diagram shows:

Another aspect of the Temple Squares is that they are Transitional Triads. R.L. Gillis writes at length about
this in his book, “Book of Mutations”, page 92. The basic concept is a comparative Stria analysis of any 2 Ditrunes
to produce a 3rd Ditrune that is complementary to both. Stria of the same quality produce the same quality,
while Stria of differing quality produce the ‘missing’ quality. Thus, we have the following conditional rules:

Above is the section of the Talisman ruled by the Genitor‐Genetrix Hierophant, or the 0 Ditrune. As can be
seen in the above table, any horizontal, vertical, or diagonal line is composed of transitional triads. For the
adept student, other relationships of Transitional Triads can be discerned.
In applying this principle to the Regions 1, 2, 3, & 6, it must be remembered that the Hierophants use its
Reune to make Transitional Triads in the Hierophant’s square.
In comparing the Talisman of the Hierophants to the Star‐Mirror of Hadit, it will be seen that the Temple
numbers found on that table become the central numbers of each 3x3 Temple Number section. There is 1
Disciple number per Region, and of course, 364. When placed on the Kamea of the Hierophants, we have:
In Liber Trigrammaton, there is 27 Triunes, each Triune composed of 3 Stria, giving us a total of 81 Stria in this
tome. There is a direct correspondence between these 81 Stria and the 9 Hierophants + 72 Disciple Ditrunes.
Each Ditrune is composed of 6 lines, and each level of the inherent unfolding of the 9 Ditrunal Families
corresponds to certain aspects of the Ditrunes structure.
1. The inner ‘bigram’ of lines 3&4 determine what Hierophant any Ditrune belongs to. This is called a
Ditrunes Hierogram.
2. Lines 2 & 5 determine what Disciple a Ditrune belongs to. This is called the Ditrunes Ecugram.
3. Lines 1 & 6 determine the Temple. This is called the Ditrunes Edigram.
For example, the Ditrune for 93 in 3‐base is 010110. It produces the following bigrams:
 Its Hierogram would be 01, lines 3&4
 Its Ecugram would be 11, lines 2&5
 Its Edigram would be 00, lines 1&6
 Thus 01,11,00, or 140, which is its Kamea Location.
(Note that the bigrams produced by this method also give the exact Kamea Location of the Ditrune.)
In the “Book of Mutations”, by R. Leo Gillis, he details Nuclear Mutations and Probability of Divination
according to Stria Quality. This table is reproduced below, as a reference. The methodologies of the probability
of the Stria qualities is explained in depth by him in Part 2 of this book, Divination. By taking this one step further
and applying this idea to the 81 Ditrunes found within each Ditrunal Family, we are not only able to distill each
Ditrune into its fundamental Triune, but also able to attribute Tarot and other important attributes to every
individual Ditrune.

29484, the 3 columns summing 4104, 10287, and 15093. All these are divisible by 9 as follow:

These multiplicands sum to 3276, which is the sum of the Table of Nine and the magic sum of the Star‐Mirror
of Nothing. More importantly, 3276 is the sum of the Hierophant Numbers. The 3‐Base for 3276 is 11111100,
