Introduction:

The “Dairy Management System” showcased here represents a cutting-edge

C++ project designed to revolutionize the very core of your milk dairy
enterprise. This exceptional system empowers you to masterfully oversee every
crucial facet that ensures the seamless operation of your dairy. From
meticulously tracking milk deposits to effortlessly managing animal meals,
facilitating loan applications, and effortlessly sharing vital dairy-related
information, this system paves the way for unparalleled dairy excellence.

Dairy farming is quite relevant in most parts of the world. In these lands animals,
especially cows are raised so that their milk can be sold in the market. In other
words you may say that if there had been no dairy farms then milk, which is the
main source of calcium and minerals for humans would be difficult to get. Today,
dairy industry is one of the most promising industries all over the world. In fact
no other business can guarantee such returns as does the dairy farming. Usually
cows, which are tested and tried to produce large amount of milk are raised in
these lands, for example, Milking Shorthorn, Brown Swiss, and Ayrshire. If this
business is done with proper scientific management then returns of 25-32% of the
investment is guaranteed.
Objective and Scope

The guiding objective for good dairy farming practice is that safe, quality milk
should be produced from healthy animals using management practices that are
sustainable from an animal welfare, social, economic and environmental
perspective.
To achieve this objective, dairy farmers should apply good practice in the
following
areas:
• Animal health
• Milking hygiene
• Nutrition (feed and water)
• Animal welfare
• Environment
• Socio-economic management.
For each of these categories this Guide lists good dairy farming practices, and
suggests measures that can be implemented to achieve the desired outcome.
Software and hardware used

We have required the devices as we have mentioned below while making our
airways reservation software.

Computer : Intel i5 Processor with 2.0 GHz

RAM – 256MB

HDD - 40GB

As we are learning c++, so we had decided to keep our project with this.
Therefore, we used which is familiar to us. We also used some other softwares
to achieve our goal as below.

Windows XP with higher version

Codeblocks

MS office for documentation

Advantages of dairy farming

There are some major benefits of dairy farming:

1. Since dairy industry is not dependent on rainfall, production is possible
even on days when the weather is very dry and hot.
2. The rate at which milk is sold in the market has never gone down.
Even when the supply has exceeded demand it has been noticed that the
price has remained the same.
3. The demand for milk has always increased. Consumption of dairy
products is on the rise by both vegetarians and non-vegetarians.
4. Compared to products from other industries, marketing of milk is
very easy. There is no need for special shops and expenses of marketing
are also low for any dairy products.
Dairy farming is the only industry where income is guaranteed
Disadvantages of Dairy Farming:

When we look into our history, we know that centralized farming existed
in most of the villages and cities. Many residents had enough land to keep
cows and sell milk to their neighbors. However, in the modern world, very
few people have cows due to the lack to space for the cows to grace. Even
though people have enough money to buy milk, they don't have place or
time to rear cows. Depending on the location, people today prefer to tame
cows and have a farm of their own. For example, in New Hampshire about
seventy percent of the farm land is associated with dairy farming. However,
there are hardly 126 dairy farms left in the state today. New England has
lost about 150 local farms in the past two years and has only about 2,000
farms in the state. This is due to the farmers being paid less for the milk
they produce. It is said that during the recession the hardest hit is the dairy
farms. As dairying is the cornerstone for New England, most of the cows
are found in Vermont, a lot of this milk is bought by the consumers from
Massachusetts. For these people dairy farming is still critical as the prices
are the lowest in the past thirty years.
