TEMPO EXO

EXO is the boy grup from South Korea, is under SM Entertainment. EXO debuted on April 2012 with
12 members,Which is divided into two units, 6 members are in EXO K and the other 6 members are in
EXO M. But unfortunately 3 members decided to leave the group and chose to pursue a solo career
Since 2016 Lay, who is a member from China, was go back by his country due to the conflict between
South Korea and China, this making Exo carry out a schedule ,Xiumin, Baekhyun ,Chanyeol ,chen
,Kai,D.o,Sehun ,and Suho as a leader .finally in 2018 EXO made a comeback with a complete
formation, namely 9 people, which became EXO's 5th album entitled "Don't Mess Up My Tempo"
which contained 11 songs with the main song being tempo and became the most popular song in 2018,
EXO releasing the MV "Tempo" on Nov 8th 2018.

EXO tempo is a song that talk about the man who is falling in love
with the woman he loves, and he has passionate feelings and the
tempo matches with the song, this song was composed by Jamil Digi
and produced by Chammas Levan Kali, and Penomeco, Jq , Young Jin
and Arya Chein wrote the lyrics
Because it was composed by great people, the tempo song was
created, plus EXO as the owner of the song, making EXO's Tempo
song an extraordinary song. EXO's MV has received 235 million views
since its release, and the EXO album a week since its release, this
EXO album has sold 1,179,997 copies.

This song, which is in the KPop genre, opens with Chen's vocals which are truly
extraordinary. as an exol im really like this part because I think Chen succeeded
in carrying out this tempo song plus there is an acapella accompaniment that
sounds like "dum dum dum dum dum dum dum dum dum", Chen's angel voice
makes people will fallin in love when they hear his voice . Then they enter the
first chorus which is Kai's part. Not only women, as a man ,im also exited by Kai's
very sexy voice.
 As usual, Chanyeol and Sehun gives the power in the song with deep voice rap. Their rap in the pre course
part, I was amazed by Sehun, because he was able to rap in English fluently like an American. Not a few
people who weren't EXO fans thought Sehun was an American people. In the bridge part, that Chen sing
and D.O as a backing vocals using his epic technique, It is run pitch, then connected with Baekhyun's
voice. What makes this song a masterpiece song is the interlude. The producer added an accapella element
into in, each members has their own part that is adapted to the color vocal and technique.with the vocals
that each member has. The diversity of vocal colors is what creates beautiful harmonization. In the fact, so
far, no one has dared to cover EXO's song up to the acapella part because of the high level of difficulty. No
one can do it as well as what they did.

Tempo has a simple instrument and doesntuse many musical instruments. Most of the
instruments are created using electronic music such as the use of Musical Instrument Digital
Interface or MIDI and electronics. There is also classical piano sounds in this instrument,and only
the piano is played thats sound very Cathy. The unique fact is that there are several instrument
parts produced by finger claps which regulate the tempo of this song. Even though the instrument
is relatively simple, this instrument can be combined with the melody being sung and packaged
into a song with a structure that is quite complicated than other songs.

It wouldn't be Sm Entertainment if they didn't have a theory for the MV, because SM's
characteristic is making one MV that have theories connected to other MV. in essence EXO
is trapped in the red cube and the time stops. The only way to get out is to put the puzzle
together. But because EXO couldn't resist the temptation, EXO went back into the red
cubes.
At the beginning of EXo's debut they were created to have the power of each member
and there were members who could stop time. It is considered a strength rather than a
disaster. However, because the time controller decided to take another path and not be
with EXO anymore, EXO considered that stopping time was a disaster, a disaster for
EXO considering that the time controller was no longer with them to protect all
members. So it is the duty of all members to find other ways to get out of the red cube
and not get trapped in it.
 All the members are trapped in the red cubes except Lay,
and they're trying to get out, in this case Xiumin and D.o
are in the same room and they're playing transparent chess,
instead of finalizing a strategy to win, but it turns out D.o
and Xiumin are working together to Arrange the pawns
into cubes.
Time starts to run but not normally. Right after D.O and
Xiumin started playing transparent chess. It turns out that
the puzzle in question is transparent chess.

After they succeeded in arranging, there was

light coming out of the cubes, this light
became a marker and code for the members
who were trapped in their respective rooms
for the members to get out of the red cubes.

But out of the theory topic, my

favorite part is when Lay Appear
in the MV, actually it doesn't have
too long, at least it can cure Exol's
longing for the togetherness of Lay
with the EXO members.

Exo always attracts attention kpoprs with their comeback album concept, in
this album Exo has a biker theme in their album. The Exo logo also
changed to a speedometer. The physical album it self consists of three
versions, namely the andante, moderate ,and allegro versions. If you pay
attention, the name of the version is a musical term, namely the type of
speed or tempo in the song. the contents of the physical album are posters,
postcards, PC, DVD, stickers and others item, I am very happy because I
got a KAI PC, because PC are the target of kpopers when buying albums
hahaha

Overall Tempo Exo is my favorite song, not for no reason, but Tempo Exo was created to stick as Exo's
identity, the concept is so lit, and the MV looks very luxurious, even with dance they can do this very on
point and harmonious.im over the moon when i hear this song .Because Exo's greats talent they deserve
this successed, I hope Exo can stay together for exol, and exol continues to survive for Exo,WE ARE
ONE EXO SARANGHAJA!!
