COMPUTER POWER SUPPLY
A power supply is a hardware component in a computer or electronic device that converts electrical power from
an external source (such as a wall outlet or battery) into the appropriate voltage and current needed to operate the
components within the system. It provides a stable and regulated supply of power to ensure the proper
functioning of the computer or electronic device. Power supplies are essential components that deliver power to
the motherboard, CPU, memory, and other peripherals, enabling the entire system to operate.

FUNCTION:
The SATA x6 connector facilitates data transfer, provides power, and supports up to six SATA storage devices in
a computer system.
ATX 12V P4
The ATX 12V P4 connector, also known as the 4-pin ATX12V connector, is a power connector found on
motherboards. It is designed to provide additional power to the CPU (Central Processing Unit). This connector
supplies +12V power to the processor and is commonly used in systems where a higher power delivery is needed
for the CPU's stable operation. While modern motherboards often utilize an 8-pin EPS connector (P8), older or
less power-hungry systems may still employ the 4-pin P4 connector.
FUNCTION:
The ATX 12V P4 connector primarily functions to provide additional power to the CPU in a computer system. It
usually consists of a 4-pin connector and is essential for stable operation, supplying the necessary power for the
processor to function correctly.

ATX 12V P8 connector
The ATX 12V P8 connector, often referred to as the 8-pin EPS (Extended Power Supply) connector, is a power
connector commonly found on motherboards.
FUNCTION:
A power supply is typically used to provide additional power to the motherboard. It usually carries +12V power
and is designed to supply power to the CPU and other components on the motherboard, ensuring stable and
reliable operation of the computer.
