What is Corebridge? Corebridge is the market leading Telephony Data Integration solution.
Typically, enterprises have employees who use telephones to communicate with customers
and other colleagues. These enterprises also have large amounts of customer data residing
in applications and databases. In most enterprises today, the telephony system and the
databases are not connected - they do not communicate with each other. In simple terms,
when a customer calls, existing data pertinent to that customer are not being analysed prior
to picking up the call.
By simply recognising the identity of an incoming or outgoing caller by database
interrogation, Corebridge enables businesses to understand and respond to their customers
in a way never possible before. With Corebridge immediate access to customer data is
possible, client-specific routing rules can be implemented, staff mobility is improved
dramatically, and organisation-wide views of enterprise telephony usage are enabled
allowing a detailed understanding of employee-client interaction.
Is Corebridge Yes. Corebridge integrates with VoIP systems and enhances them.
different to VoIP? VoIP is a platform which delivers voice and data traffic onto a single network via the Internet.
Corebridge works with both traditional legacy PBXs and new VoIP systems. Corebridge can
even work with a combination of VoIP and legacy systems, which is often a requirement for
enterprises in the process of migration from legacy to IP technology. For further information on
what Corebridge offers over and above VoIP solutions, a detailed study can be provided upon
request. Please contact your local Corebridge representative.
I have heard Yes. Corebridge offers greater functionality than most CTI solutions.
about CTI. Does CTI (Computer Telephony Integration) typically refers to an on-screen telephony bar which allows
telephone calls to be made directly from the PC. Some CTI solutions can integrate with specific
Corebridge offer applications but are typically custom-built and limited to operating with those applications.
CTI functionality?
Corebridge offers everything that a typical CTI solution offers and much more. CTI type functionality
represents only a fraction of what Corebridge delivers.

Can Corebridge be Yes. Corebridge is an enterprise solution designed for use
used outside call on enterprise desktops.
centres? Corebridge is focused on the enterprise market, not the call centre market. At Corebridge we
believe that enterprises need to understand both their employees and their customers better in
order to remain competitive. This view is shared by most business analysts. Corebridge positions
itself as the solution that takes the best of call centre functionality, CTI, and eighty man-years
of focused development to deliver the next generation of business communication solutions.
The Corebridge mission statement is, “Every enterprise, every desktop”. It is only a matter of
time before Corebridge’s range of functionalities becomes mission-critical amongst enterprises
competing globally.
How will Corebridge Corebridge will deliver both hard and soft cost savings to most
save my business enterprises.
money? Some examples of hard cost savings offered by Corebridge follow.
1 Hardware savings. Corebridge’s simple and intuitive desktop client allows control of
incoming and outgoing calls and efficient call management for transferring calls,
conferencing calls, etc. Enterprises can realise immediate savings on telephone hardware
by avoiding the purchase of expensive feature-rich executive handsets which most
employees have to be trained to use, but never remember how to operate.
2 Conference calls. The Corebridge client allows users to establish conference calls easily
from their desktops instead of relying on expensive phone sets or third-party conferencing
bridges which are more costly to operate and maintain.
3 Least cost routing. Corebridge provides enterprises with easy-to-use tools that allow them
to implement, manage and control their own least cost routing. An easy-to-use software
portal (as opposed to the programming of a PBX) allows an enterprise’s IT department
to implement and maintain ad hoc call routing rules. This, in turn, allows enterprises
to achieve significant reductions in their IDD bills.
The exact composition of these savings will depend on the nature of the enterprise and
its unique work flow. A Corebridge representative will be happy to discuss this with you
in more detail.

How does Corebridge improves staff productivity across any enterprise.
Corebridge improve Often it is the simplest things that make our working day easier, save us time and allow us to
staff productivity? operate more effectively. With Corebridge some of the mundane tasks that we do every day
without thinking will cease to exist. The following are a few simple examples.
1 Click to dial. With Corebridge, the entire desktop becomes phone-enabled, allowing staff
to make calls from any document, application or web page simply by moving the cursor
to the number and pressing ‘shift’ and ‘right-click’. There is no need to key in the telephone
number. Even an individual’s name can be highlighted and Corebridge will identify the
party, find the phone number and allow one-click dialling!
2 Directory search. Paging through business card folders, scrolling through mobile phone
address books, or looking at the bottom of e-mails for a contact’s details are unnecessary.
With Corebridge, staff can access corporate directories and customer contacts by initiating
a directory search directly from the Corebridge telephony bar. Searches can be performed
by individual name or by company. Thanks to Corebridge Mobility, staff can even access
this information remotely from any Internet connection or with a GPRS-enabled device.
3 Missed calls management. Not returning missed calls in a timely manner can be a
major source of business loss for large and small companies alike. Corebridge provides
a comprehensive missed call management tool; The Corebridge Virtual Assistant not only
notifies the user of missed calls, it allows one-click dialling back to the missed caller,
and one-click access to the caller’s data. An e-mail or SMS alert can be sent automatically
to the user informing them of who has tried to contact them, and a tailor-made e-mail can
be sent automatically to the caller acknowledging that their call has been missed and that
you have been informed.
The examples above are by no means exhaustive. For further information on how Corebridge
can improve staff productivity, please contact your local Corebridge representative.

How does Corebridge Corebridge integrates most applications and data bases
integrate with third- with telephony events.
party applications Corebridge has developed a series of proprietary synchronisation agents which allow
and databases and us to integrate and work with virtually any database application used by enterprises today.
These sync-agents are unique to Corebridge, allowing us to interrogate data in any CRM,
why is this important ERP or e-mail application used by our client. Other solutions in the market focus on the
to my business? replication of databases. Corebridge takes a completely different route using meta-directory
technology that synchronises only with telephony related data.
Corebridge can integrate all telephony events (incoming and outgoing) with business
applications, bringing critical client information to the desktop of the user in real time.
This delivers major improvements to customer service, while one-click access to applications
and databases reduces search time for staff when accessing client information. Corebridge
can also be configured to launch automatically upon any instance of either an incoming
or outgoing telephony event.
