Personal statement

I am writing this letter consciously and without pressure in order to choose pharmacy as a
major because it has always been a goal and aspiration of mine. This letter of motivation
from a highly motivated and enthusiastic student who wishes to apply to Airlangga
University's International Program of Pharmacy.

Cooking is becoming more appealing to me. When you want to make the perfect dish, you
go online and look up the instructions. You'd need accurate measures, such as how many
cups of sugar or how much salt you'll need. I never read instructions when i coking instead, I
go with my intuition and my own experience. On some days, the dish is delicious. On other
days, it's hardly edible.

Pharmacy reminds me of cooking. Whenever I notice a buddy who is difficulties, I try to

assist them in various ways. My words can be very comforting at times, but I also tend to say
the wrong things. Whether I cook or assist others, I am aware of my mistakes and try to
learn from them so that I do not repeat them. Cooking has taught me the value of patience,
and the need to be analytical and strategic in my decisions.

For a couple of years, I watched my parents work in the pharmaceutical industry. I started
learning about pharmacy when I was ten years old, and as I got older, I chose to study it
more deeply.
