Shell Tactic EMV is a range of electromechanical
single point lubricators for production-critical
bearings and associated machinery. The lubricators
contain a grease specially selected to suit your
applications and operating temperatures.

The units feature an electromechanical drive unit

which can be re-used over time.

Operating Principle
• Micro-processor controlled electric geared motor.
• Drive setting menu accessed via ‘SET’ button and
LCD display.
• Controlled spindle rotation results in a measurable
positive displacement of the piston and grease
transport.

• Longest bearing service life - when grease added in
small amounts at regular, short time intervals.
• Bearings operating in harsh environments demand
the shortest time interval between additions of
fresh grease.
• Operating conditions which include elevated
temperatures, vibration and contamination
sources contribute to the need for shorter time
intervals between re-lubrication.
• The shortest time interval between Shell Tactic
EMV injections is 1 ½ hours for a 1-month time
setting.
