Compare and Contrast essay about World War 1 and World War 2

As we know, in the world, there are two World Wars which both occured in 20th
century. The two World War caused a lot of devastation. In this essay, I will state
differences and similarities of these World Wars. World War I started with the
killing of Frans Ferdinand who was successor of Avstriya-Hungary in 1914. First
attack carried out by German and then the rest of other Euoropian countries also
announced their joining. The official cause of the War was the events in Sarajevo,
where on July 28, 1914, the heir to the throne of the Austro-Hungarian Empire
Franz Ferdinand and his wife Sophie Chotek were killed by the eighteen-year-old
Serbian nationalist and student Gavrilo Princip. The countries that participated in
the First World War were divided into two military-political groups:

Triple Alliance: Germany, Austria-Hungary and Italy, set up in 1882 Triple Entente:
Britain, France and Russia, established in 1907

38 countries of the world took part in the First World War. They had more than
1.5 billion. More than 74 million for the war were mobilized from their all
population. Total 10 min. people were killed, and 20 million people were injured.
In addition, many people died from disease and starvation. The countries that
were the main participants in the First World War lost a third of their national
wealth. Due to the First World War, the February and October Revolutions took
place in the Russian Empire and the November Revolution in the German Empire.
The Russian Empire, the Austro- Hungarian Empire, the Ottoman Empire, and the
German Empire were

destroyed by war.
World War II, one of the deadliest conflicts in human history, took place from
1939 to 1945, involving most of the world's nations grouped into two opposing
military alliances: the Allies and the Axis powers. The main causes of World War II
included the unresolved issues from World War I, such as the harsh treatment of
Germany in the Treaty of Versailles, the rise of totalitarian regimes in Europe (for
example, Nazi Germany under Adolf Hitler and Fascist Italy under Benito
Mussolini) and the expansionist policies of Japan. The major Allied powers
included the United States, the Soviet Union, the United Kingdom and China,
among others, while the Axis powers primarily consisted of Germany, Italy and
Japan. Some of the key events of World War II include the invasion of Poland by
Germany in 1939. (which triggered the war), the Battle of Stalingrad (a turning
point on the Eastern Front), the D-Day landings in Normandy in 1944, the
bombing of Pearl Harbor by Japan in 1941 and the atomic bombings of Hiroshima
and Nagasaki in 1945. The war ended in 1945 with the unconditional surrender of
Germany in May and the surrender of Japan in September after the dropping of
atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki in August. Total 80 min people were
killed and 25 min people were injured in World War II,

While World War I and World War II were distinct conflicts with different causes,
participants, and outcomes, there are several key similarities between the two
wars. Both World War I and World War II were truly global conflicts involving
multiple nations from different continents. These wars had far-reaching
consequences that affected countries around the world. Although trench warfare
was most associated with World War I, elements of it were also present in certain
theaters of World War II,

particularly in the early stages of the conflict. Both wars were fought between
two main opposing alliances: the Allies and the Central Powers in World War I,
and the Allies and the Axis powers in World War II. These alliances played a
crucial role in shaping the conflict and determining the outcomes.
