Salvador Dalí

Salvador Dalí was a Spanish surrealist painter born on May 11, 1904, in Figueres, Spain, and died
on January 23, 1989, in the same city. He is recognized for his boundless imagination, extravagant
style, and his contribution to the surrealist movement of the 20th century. In addition to his work
in painting, Dalí also ventured into other forms of art such as sculpture, photography, and film.

Dalí is known for his surrealist paintings that defy logic and reality, filled with dreamlike imagery,
symbolism, and fantasy. Some of his most famous works include "The Persistence of Memory,"
"The Temptation of St. Anthony," and "Dream Caused by the Flight of a Bee Around a Pomegranate
a Second Before Awakening."

Although Dalí passed away in 1989, his legacy endures as one of the most influential and renowned
artists of the 20th century.
