WHO IS HE?
Gordon Korman is an American author
of Canadian origin. He has written more
than 80 children's and young adult
fiction books and has sold more than 28
million books during a career spanning
four decades and has appeared at
number one on the New York Times
bestseller list.
FIRST STEP OF HIS
CAREER

Korman wrote his first book

when he was 12 years old, as
part of seventh grade English
class. Before graduating from
high school in Thornhill,
Ontario, Korman wrote and
published five books.
UNGIFTED

Ungifted is a 2012 children's novel

by Gordon Korman. The plot
revolves around Donovan Curtis, a
troublemaker that gets wrapped up
in a major prank gone wrong. Due
to an accident caused by the
superintendent, Donovan gets sent
to the Academy of Scholastic
Distinction, a school for gifted and
talented students.
