Different between poem and verse

Poetry is a written literary work that expresses ideas and is bound by rhyme and rhythm and there is a
beautiful arrangement of language stanzas.

Verse is a literary work written with regular and bound lines. Verse is poem but poem is not necessarily
verse because there are also poems that have irregular rhymes.

Tugas puisi:

A Snowflake

Soar, float, fly.

The snowflake always fly.

Drifting erratically.

Fly and dodge.

Avoid the hands that want to catch.

Which will make it melt.

But...

Gravity attracts.

It will fall soon.

It still wanted to fly.

Playing with the cold wind.

The snowflake doesn't want to melt.

Fall, fall, fall.

The snowflake are now falling.

This is the end, but...

The snowflake has fallen.

Fall that doesn't just fall.

it doesn't melt, it doesn't disappear.

fell on a lump of ice.

A lump of ice formed from another snowflake.

strong chunks of ice.

Now the snowflake had fused with it.

Together through every cold day and night.

And will melt together in the spring.
