2. Government have examined matter in detail and are pleased to accord sanction to
District Collector, Ernakulam to acquire an extent of 98.12 Acres (9811.58 cents) of land in
Aluva West, Keezhmadu, Aluva East, Vazhakulam, Arakkappadi, Vengola, Marampilly,
Perumbavoor, Rayamangalam, Ashamanoor, Thrikariyoor, Eramaloor & Kothamangalam
Villages of Ernakulam district for the Improvements to Aluva - Munnar road from Ch 0/000
to 35/226 & Bypass road from Ch 0/000 to 3/055 by invoking the provisions contained in
LARR Act, 2013.

3. The District Collector, Ernakulam is to resort to acquire land by invoking the

provisions contained in LARR Act, 2013. The District Collector will ensure that approval
under extant Acts & Rules viz, Conservation of Paddy land and Wet land Act, Coastal Zone
Regulation Act and Environment Act, whichever are applicable to the proposal in this case
are obtained by the Requisition Authority.

4. The District Collector shall ensure that the requisitioning authority has deposited 5%
Contingency Charges of the cost of compensation or Rupees Fifty lakhs whichever is less
as provided in Rule 4(3) of LARR Rules, 2015 r/w G.O(P) No. 17/18/RD dated
12/04/2018, in the TSB account before proceeding with the land acquisition. Before
issuance of 19(1) Declaration the District Collector should also ensure that the balance
entire cost of compensation calculated by the Land Acquisition Officer as provided in Rule
4(6) of LARR Rules, 2015 has been fully deposited by the requisitioning authority in the
TSB account or else the acquisition proceedings will be stopped at once.
