How to add users to Lync 2010

1. Connect to terminal server HQ1TSPRD11VS. Click Start, then Lync Server 2010, then Lync
Server Control Panel. You will be asked to login to the control panel below. Enter your
credentials.

Note: You will need to login using your regular network login (ex. Username: JosephButler)

2. Add https://ashapp66vs/cscp as the Input URL for connecting

3. If prompted, click Yes to accept security alert and proceed to the secure site

4. After you login you will see the below screen. Click Users on the left hand side

5. To search for an existing Lync user type a portion of the users first or last name.

6. You can double click on a user name to make any changes to the user. In Lync, the enable or
disable key is what grants access for users.

7. To add a new user to Lync click Enable users

8. Once in the New Lync Server User screen, click Add and put in part or all of the name you are
looking for. You can add many people as you need to the list.

9. Once you have the users in the list that you will be adding, make sure to assign them to the
dltklync2010.ads.deltek.com pool as shown below. This is the only change you will need to
make. Then click Enable and they should be ready to login to Lync.
