Коли вживати Present Simple

 Present Simple використовується для вираження дій, що регулярно відбуваються

або часто повторюються.
We have classes at the university five days a week.
He catches a bus to work.

 Ми також використовуємо present simple, коли говоримо про розпорядок:

Everyday, I get up at 7, have breakfast and then catch the bus to work at 7.45.
(Щодня я встаю о 7, снідаю та їду на роботу о 7.45)

I go to dance classes every Thursday evening.

(Я відвідую уроки танців ввечері по четвергах)

 Ми можемо використовувати час present simple для розповіді про те, що завжди
відповідає дійсності (незмінна правда) або є фактом.

Chocolate tastes good. (Шоколад смакує добре)

It gets dark at about six o'clock. (Сутеніє приблизно о шостій)
It's hot here in summer. (Влітку тут жарко)

Слова та словосполучення, з якими уживається Present Simple:

Always-завжди, usually-зазвичай, often
Every day / week / month / year
On Mondays / Tuesdays …. Sundays
In the morning / afternoon / evening / at night /
At the weekend
