1. Only the third person singular (he / she / it) is different from the others, since
"-s" is added.
3. The ending is “–ies” when a verb ends in “consonant + y”. The "y" is converts to “i” and
adds “-es”:

W: So, Jamie, we all know you are a very famous writer. Tell us a little about your routine.
M: Well, I´m married and I have (1) a baby daughter, so I always get up (2) early during
the week, about 7. I need silence to work so when my wife takes (3) the baby to the park in
the morning, I write. We usually have (4) lunch at about midday and then I play with my
daughter while my wife is at work. She´s a teacher and she works (5) in a primary school.
