ZERO CONDITIONAL
What is a conditional?
Sometimes we call them 'if clauses'. They
describe the result of something that might
happen (in the present or future) or might
have happened but didn't (in the past) . They
are made using different English verb tenses.
What is a conditional sentence?
Conditional sentences consist of two clauses,
an independent clause and an adverb clause of
condition.
Here’s an independent clause:

Water boils.
And here’s an adverb clause of condition:

If you heat water


There are 4 basic types of
conditionals: zero, first,
second, and third. It's also
possible to mix them up and
use the first part of a sentence
as one type of conditional and
the second part as another
Meaning
Zero conditional is used to talk about
facts or situations which are always
true.
