Symptom
The following three error message pop-ups appear in random order when opening a planning view template:
An unforeseen error occurred on the server:

Error in storing offline IBP information:

An unexpected error occurred:

SAP Sales and Operations Planning (SCM-SOP)
SAP Integrated Business Planning (SCM-IBP)

Reproducing the Issue

1. Log in to IBP via Excel Add-in
2. Load planning view template
3. Error messages pop up
4. In "About" group of the IBP ribbon > "Help" > "Log.." following error message can be found among others: "This
command is not allowed because the document is locked".
 Cause
The planning view template is saved to the server without sensitivity labeling, although the company sensitivity labeling
policy requires users to apply a sensitivity label to Excel documents.

Resolution
Set the sensitivity label as soon as possible but before performing any IBP Excel Add-In functionality:

OR

Save and update the planning view to the server with sensitivity labels already selected via Templates > Update or
Favorites > Update.
In this case the template will open always with the saved sensitivity labeling.
Request company specific sensitivity labeling policy related information from Excel software provider or from local IT.
