Sanitation is one of the most important parts of community well-being
since it preserves human health, increases life expectancy, and has
been shown to have economic benefits. Sanitation is important since it
contributes to the cleanliness of our surroundings. A healthy
environment is a cherished possession that everyone desires. But how
will we be able to achieve that if we fail to take the essential sanitation
precautions? As a result, properly disposing of trash and other garbage
is vital according to this law. Enhances one's looks Sanitation enhances
a home's appeal by instilling a sense of grace in the form of a clean
environment. The streets will be cleaner, and there will be more
housing options.
Two of the essential factors of sanitation are: Good personal hygiene and
proper storage of food.

Good personal hygiene is essential for any food handler and minimises the
risk of food contamination. Food poisoning can be avoided with good
personal cleanliness. It also makes good business sense to maintain
decent personal hygiene. Customers appreciate seeing food - handling
employees that are concerned about hygiene and practice safe food
handling. While having proper storage of food helps to preserve the quality
and nutritional value of the foods you purchase, and also helps make the
most of your food dollar by preventing spoilage. Furthermore , proper food
storage can help prevent hazardous microorganisms from causing
foodborne illnesses. Thus, this law is indeed very helpful to remind us that
having proper sanitation will not just eliminate the risks for having a disease
but will also save our community and many people’s lives.

In our opinion, Family planning is important in lessening poverty, people experiencing

difficulties in life, and in making not just each family but also the country prosperous.
Teenage pregnancy has been one of the largest crisis that is evident among the youth.
Despite the numerous effects and consequences dealt with teenage pregnancy, it seems
that the teenagers have gone farther in this situation. In order to prevent teenage
pregnancy, teenagers need to have a comprehensive understanding of abstinence,
contraceptive techniques, and consequences. Although there are many different ways to
prevent a teenage girl from becoming pregnant, the only one that is absolutely effective
is sexual abstinence. In order to prevent teenage pregnancy, teenagers need to have a

consequences. Although there are many different ways to prevent a teenage girl from
becoming pregnant, the only one that is absolutely effective is sexual abstinence. To
motivate people in a community to practice family planning, point out reasons for doing
so. Focus on things that will impact the families involved, such as the cost of each child,
the space that is needed, and the time needed for each child .

A single pint of blood can save up to three lives. Most of you are aware of a
relative or friend who received blood at some point in their life. Does anyone
ever take their time to reflect who donated the blood? Imagine a situation
where a person well-known to you is diagnosed with leukemia, and they
require transfusions of platelets regularly. Naturally, everyone hopes that a
hospital should have enough resources to help the sick persons achieve full
recovery. The situation is always different because of the number of
individuals who are desperately in need of fresh blood to compensate for the
lost amount. As such, the body tends to produce its blood, butit has a limit.
Most people will never understand the importance of donating blood until
there is an emergency and the only way to save a life is through blood
transfusion.
The world will never get enough supply of blood because of its acute
shortage, and it calls for an immediate action of blood donation to
ensure people who are in dire need of blood do not perish. The world
will always face an acute shortage of blood, and many people continue
to suffer around the globe because of this shortage.

Donating whole blood can help these people. A similar process to whole
blood donation is apheresis. This provides other blood components,
such as platelets. A donation of platelet scan help people who have
issues related to clotting. While double red cell donation provides those
who lack of blood or oxygen which is associated with the ischemic heart
disease. Giving blood can be a life saving action, and it may also have
benefits for the donor.

As I have understood, the republic of the Philippines, as provided by reconstitution, has

amended the law R.A. no. 9994. As far as the policy-making body is concerned, making
revisions and provisions strengthen this act to ensure that senior citizens can enjoy and
avail their benefits and privileges. This just and dynamic social order will give full
support to the country's senior citizens, considering that they are an integral part of the
Philippine society. In this view, the government shall fully address their needs; their
health status and well-being, social security, poverty, and health concerns. Although, In
reality, what happens is that the youth population overshadowed them since the youth
dominates the enormous population compared to them. So their needs and issues
sometimes are not given so much priority as to the level of government response is a
concern. A concrete example of this is our Philippine government built a National
Children's Hospital in Manila but didn't have National Geriatric Hospital or even a
Geriatric Health Center for senior citizens. For me, this means that because of the ample
bulk of the youth population the needs of our senior citizens were in low priority.
However, our lawmakers do not stop amending laws so that whatever is weak and
lacking should be fully supplemented to strengthen this law. Another significant
impact for me towards the upliftment status of our senior citizens is the 20% discount
on basic food and medicine purchases, air and seat transportation, amusement, and
recreational centers. Exemptions on tax income and free access to medical, dental
services, and vaccination. Government assistance to social safety, death, PhilHealth
coverage, and social pension to those who are indigent. This government policy is
indeed beneficial; using their senior citizens' I.D. card will entitle them to avail
themselves of all these benefits and privileges. This act is the answer to their needs
and concerns. There is so much to thank our government and law-making body for
responding to the complex needs of our senior citizens. This will help them
experience to live a better life ahead, a console to themselves, to their families who
took care of them, and the families they live with.

Nowadays, people didn't know the importance of proper waste management and how it
benefits us. Some were abusive to throw their garbage in different corner of the streets, river
and other public places. During calamities we encounter floods and unfortunate events in
result of not taking good care of the environment. We tend to set aside the importance of
proper disposal of garbage in its rightful places. This law is a clear message that represents
awareness and enlightenment to the people. Persuading and encouraging everyone that a
clean environment is what's best for our living not just about in our health but also a positive
environment it may offer.

Clean. Segregate. Dispose—is not a difficult task to do. People should practice this culture and
be a responsible consumer of nature. Environment provides us our basic needs and the only
way; we could give back is through making them clean and well used in order for it to serve
and protect us during calamities.

"Together, let's keep our community clean—and make it a better and safer place to live in." is a
good mantra that should be remembered. A community that is clean will reflect to us an
individual user.
